While the chocolate is quite good, I don't really think it justifies the extremely high price ($8 for two pieces). I was curious to try this place, and when I saw the price, I wanted to see if it was worth it. I don't really think so. I've had a lot of chocolate of comparable taste, and this is by far the most I've ever paid for chocolate. They are big on how all of chocolate is sustainably and ethically sourced, which is nice to see. They also have small bits of their chocolate bars to sample which is helpful to see what you like the most. My only gripe is that you can get more chocolate of comparable quality elsewhere.

Chocolate tour was so fun! @annatellsitall

This place is a chocolate lovers dream! I came for the chocolate tour and had so much fun getting the behind the scenes look at how they make the magic happen. You can definitely taste the quality difference from their sustainable sourced chocolate. Just try it. You won't regret it!

My partner and I were in Miami Beach on vacation and decided spontaneously to find some chocolate. We searched chocolate tours and found a $5 factory tour for that night! Carolina is extremely knowledgeable and hilarious. You can tell how much passion she puts into to not only her business but her chocolates. The tour took us through Exquisito's process start to finish. We bought some bonbons and bars to share in California. I know we will be excited anytime we see Exquisito on shop shelves from now on. FYI The European sipping chocolate was TO DIE FOR.

Had to make my way to this chocolate shop after reading their interesting story. Grabbed 8 different bars for myself and friends. Looking forward to sharing and trying them. Plenty of options and the employee was very helpful explaining all the chocolates. Make sure you stop by and give them a try. Enjoy.

yum, yum, yum! I saw Eater had made a video featuring this chocolate shop....so when my bestie told me she was going to Miami, I knew I needed to make her go. and thankfully she loves me enough to have went! she brought back 24 bon bons & two chocolate bars. I'll start with the chocolate bars. I received the matcha bar, which I loved! I am a sucker for matcha so this was my favorite. the other bar was don't be salty. this was a delicious bar of dark, salty chocolates. it wasn't overly salty & the chocolate was so damn smooth. the bon bons were so delicious! my only complaint was that I had no idea what each bon bon was. I know they were all dark chocolate, but I wish they included a little "guide" on what each bon bon is. all in all, this is a great chocolate shop with delicious little treats!

I was so exited about trying this chocolate. I am a chocoholic. I watched a video about the sister store that is closed on Monday and the chocolate looked good. https://youtu.be/jD7DFa-JPUE they pride themselves in the making process and diference type of cacao used from all over like Peru, Colombia etc. The chocolate smell from this place is hypnotizing. To my surprise the store did not looked at all like a chocolate store. It looked like a small wear house. It looked really messy inside. The store is closed only take out.. You have to place call. The number listed at the door and they will then tell you if they have the item. FYI cash only no cards. It was a fast process. I did not have much of a waiting time. The pick up was little uncomfortable for me. You go to the front of the store. A guy was there inside the store with a mask on and a tablet. He had my order. He does not come outside at any point. He is mostly inside blocking the door so you cannot go inside either. I felt like i was doing an illegal transaction. We exchanged payments and he gave me my package by barely opening the door. I was made to feel unconfortable. There chocolate is different I haven't tasted anything like this. Its good. I ordered the truffle brownies. They are really small the size of a quarter. They didn't taste like brownies to me. They didn't have the traditional consistency. They were more like chocolate candy. I did like it. My favorite was the potatoes chip bark. It was really good and crunch. It was dark chocolate. Boy if it had sea salt it would have been the perfect convination for my taste. The items came in a cute sealed package. The packaging was nice. The place did not leave a positive impression on me. The way the transaction was done was weird. I will not be back.

5 stars! I saw Exquisito on Eater and I just had to try their chocolate. The woman owner who makes the chocolate is really a woman after my own heart. She's probably the biggest chocoholic I know, other than myself. Great quality chocolate, and i just love the proper attention these beans receive from farm to bar. I don't live in Florida, so I always ordered online. I've paid $11.99 for DHL shipping, but you really don't need to! They offer free shipping for order +$35 and more for USPS... and this option actually arrives faster! When I used DHL, the more expensive option took me 8 days, which is absolutely ridiculous. So now I just opt for the free option. Also, kudos to the store for amazing packaging each time! They always arrive in perfect condition, unmelted (no matter how hot the weather) and unbroken. Most importantly, I love tasting the subtle differences from each countries these beans originate come from. What a joy to get to taste these single origin bars!

This is a lovely chocolate shop and factory on the western end of Little Havana/Calle Ocho and is a must-visit for anyone exploring the neighborhood. They're just marking their one-year anniversary and I hope they continue finding great success! These guys do small batches of handmade chocolate using beans sourced from the Caribbean and Central and South America. They have behind the scenes tours on the weekends for $15, which are a fun and informative experience that will enhance your appreciation for their delicious products. Try the Cafe con Leche bar, which blends in coffee beans from Per'la Coffee. It's one of the best coffee-chocolate combos I've encountered and a true 305 experience!

I'm always on the hunt for great locally made gifts and now know to make Exquisito Fine Chocolates my first stop! Ok, I'll admit I'll probably pick up something for myself too... It's important to know this shop makes their own bean to bar chocolate, using only ethically sourced beans from around the world. Besides that, they don't use any preservatives or additives, so you know you're getting the best quality stuff which rotates based on the season. In the store, you'll find chocolate bars, truffles, chocolate covered Oreos, and more special treats like passion fruit s'mores, flavored marshmallows and "haute chocolate" spoons! Like I said, AMAZING gifts. They're always having fun with creations and experimenting with booze infused chocolate and flavors so be sure to ask. If you need a special order for a party, definitely give them a call and see what may be possible. The storefront isn't anything fancy, but it's functional and all that really matters is the chocolate when all is said and done! It's located next to Keg South in a nondescript office building, but you'll see the sign and door. There's a reason spots like Azucar Ice Cream and The Salty Donut use chocolate produced by Exquisito for their products. It's among the best!

    Truffles

Let me start by saying, please do not judge this place by the truffles in my picture as they are the ones I made, and I am obviously not a chocolatier. I found this place through Eventbrite as I was looking for a date night activity. I thought it was a great idea as my GF LOVES chocolate, and it stated BYOB (That's right, you get to have truffles and enjoy a bottle of wine or some beers) for the class. The price was $40 per person, and I thought at first it was a bit pricey until I participated in it. The overall class was great and allowed us to have an opportunity to connect. The instructor was incredibly friendly and was a local guide for Miami, so it was perfect being able to speak with him on Miami's local spots. Anyway, the class began with a brief history of Cacoa and where they source it from, including the quality of the process itself. We then had the opportunity to wear a pair of VR Goggles to see firsthand the farms in which they source the Cacoa. Throughout the class, we experienced many parts of the chocolatier process, including getting an overview of the machines that they create or repurpose to make chocolate. Every step of the way, we had various SAMPLES of their current products and even those that are in the "flavor testing" state. The number of free samples was ridiculously good, and let me tell you it got us all to purchase more chocolate after the class ended (Try the Platano with dark chocolate). The class ended with group painting and coating our truffles. I would highly recommend this place to buy chocolate and to check out one of their events on Eventbrite; their events are suitable for children 12 and over. P.S. Parking is available on the street, so it's metered parking. During the week, it can get tricky, so you may want to uber over. I went on Sunday, and street parking was effortless to find.

    Business hours - call first!!

I first tried their chocolate at Iron Fork. When I noticed, from the flyer, that they are near the Costco I sometimes visit, I decided to pay a visit the next time I'm in the neighborhood. The place is not exactly easy to find. It's in the plaza next to Keg South, but a plaza that's more like offices than retail. I tried the door but it was locked. I figured they were closed, or maybe not open for retail, and was about to leave when a man from next door happened to walk out. "Just knock," he said, "they are in". "Knock very loud, they are probably in the back making chocolate and can't hear you." Sure enough, a lady opened the door, and stepping in, it's just like any chocolate shop. There are chocolate dipped oreos (both dark and milk), chocolate bars, truffles, drinking chocolate, giant macaroons, marshmallows and more. There is a shelf filled with some chocolate with sticks at the end, that looks like ice pop, or a pot growing a wooden stick. You can dip these into hot milk or coffee. There are lots of flavors, from plain milk/dark to peppermint, cuban coffee, marshmallow, grand marnier and more! Another shelf is filled with home made marshmallow, with fancy flavors such as guava, passionfruit, dulce de leche and wine. The lady, which I presume is the owner, was very nice. She readily had samples of most items to offer. I love the chocolate dipped Oreos, and ended up picking a few other things to try. Tips: - Don't forget to check in on Yelp for discount! - Call first, as they may be out delivering or in the back in production. - they do favors for parties and events.

Sometimes we switch it up and go somewhere nice, and Chocolate Fashion is always a great choice. The food is always fresh and delicious, but this time I went for the Spanish chorizo omelette with extra chorizo--because let's be real, regular chorizo is never enough lol. And wow... it had that perfect spicy chorizo kick, super flavorful, juicy, and just straight-up mouthwatering. Like every bite was rich, slightly smoky, a little picante... just insanely good. Of course, I had to get my usual café con leche--smooth, comforting, and exactly what you need with a brunch like this. And for dessert, a key lime pie that was the perfect ending. That balance of sweet and tangy, super refreshing, light but satisfying... honestly couldn't have finished the meal in a better way. Love this spot for a chill, quality family brunch. Always hits.

We chose a table and were attended to right away; we were even served water while we looked over the menu. We opted to split a "Chicken Club" ($16.95), adding an extra side of fries ($3.25). The sandwich was delicious--the chicken was tender and juicy, the bread was toasted to perfection, the bacon was crispy, and everything was very well-seasoned. The fries were also delicious, though I thought it was absurd to charge extra for them instead of the salad, which is the standard side dish. To drink, we had a simple Americano ($3.75) and a Mocha Latte ($8.95); the Mocha was delicious but, in my opinion, super expensive! We took home a Cannele ($3.95) and a Tiramisu ($8.50); both were very tasty--sweet, but not excessively so! I liked that they also offer lunch options; my favorite pick of the day was the "Boeuf Bourguignon," though I didn't get to try it--perhaps next time! Overall, it was a good choice, and the prices were actually quite reasonable compared to the cost of everything else in Miami!

Luciano and Pedro Brilho were determined to bring their love of Brazilian brigadeiros to their adopted country of the United States. Opened in May of 2015, they were the first chocolate Brigadeiro shop in Florida. What are brigadeiros you might wonder? For the uninitiated they are a Brazilian bonbon, created in the 1940s and named after Brigadier Eduardo Gomes (apparently a good looking single fellow with an legion of admiring female fans). You usually find brigadeiros at birthday parties in Brazil. Although they are typically chocolate, you can find them in a variety of flavors here. Ingredients include sweet condensed milk, flavoring (cocoa powder) and butter. The candy is hand rolled and can be stored at room temperature for up to three days. The brigadeiros here are tiny and depending on how many you buy, run around $2 apiece. Brigadeiro offers 15 flavors including churro, Nutella, dulce de leche, Romeo and Juliet (guava), pistachio, rainbow, white chocolate, and their top seller Oh My Gosh which received it's name from what customers said the first time they tried it. "OH MY GOSH" They also sell cakes by the slice and in jars. They even have coffee cups covered in candy for the most amazing looking cappuccinos. Their Nutella cappuccino reached 16 million views on the internet and became viral in Miami. I had previously visited their store in the MiMo district. This Oh My Gosh is located on the first floor of Julia and Henry food hall in downtown Miami. I bought a sprinkle and original OMG to go for $5. They are packaged beautifully like jewels in a tiny box. The creamy brigadeiro's are very addicting and they make the perfect little sweet pick me up.
