I tried the pumpkin cookie. This cookie was phenomenal as it had toasted pecan, white chocolate, raisins and delicious spices. The service here was outstanding and Mrs. Cindy Lou is there working and ready to cater towards your needs. The ambiance is that of a bakery letting you see them prepare and deliver your deserts. The best bakery in Miami for sure .
Huge selection of massive cookies. They also had a huge carrot cake that looked amazing and banana bread, smores, black and white cookies, everything. Tried the Nutella cookie which was amazing. Lemon cloud was also very good. The rocky road was ok, wouldn't get that one again wasn't really cookie texture. But not bad. Decently priced. Staff was very friendly.
We ordered a bunch of cookies and cakes for our company Christmas party dessert table and everyone loved it! There were no left overs. Cindy Lou's is the owner's favorite and he orders often for meetings and presentations. The cookies are massive in size and I have not tried a flavor that I did not like!
The cookies are huge, gooey, soft, and taste amazing! The staff member at the register was super friendly. I wish I could eat every cookie so I'll have to go back to try everything!
I ordered online and it was ready in less than 10 minutes! coming here was interesting as it's located between warehouses almost. next door is a vegan deli, but besides that, there aren't many other places nearby. there's no street parking either. the smell of this place infiltrates your notrils before you even open the door. the cookies here are massive! the chocolate chip cookie is so decadent with the brown butter in the background dancing on your tongue. it's heavenly!
These are some of the best cookies I've had hands down. They have a delicious homemade taste and the flavors always hit. And the service is always friendly. I love all things lemon so the lemon cookie was my fav. We also had the churro and chocolate chip cookies this trip. This is a guilty pleasure that I will save my cheat days for! Lol
Her cookies are super slaminnnn! Made with love and quality ingredients. I tried the chocolate chip cookie, hands down the best I've had. Guava, Oatmeal and the rest were FIREEEE! A must go to place. And the lady was super super sweet! Thank you for the try out samples cookies too!
This place just doesn't stop. I thought it was great in my last review, go figure, IT GOT BETTER. Amazing, Cindy/Eric and their staff just won't settle, they have a passion for making great even better. The cookies, cakes & WHATEVER they make is just BONKERS. I can't get enough. Thought I could just keep going quietly, NOPE, they just motivate me to write another review, which BTW I really don't like to do, but for Cindy I MUST, A M A Z I N G place
I came back to Cindy's Lou's again recently and I'm happy to report their cookies and sweets are even better than ever. I had the chocolate chip cookie and pistachios pound cake. Wow. Amazing. 10/10 From the moment you walk in the smell is amazing! The staff is friendly and there's always a sample of something to try. A true gem in Miami!
I finally got around to checking out this place! 5+ years overdue for a visit. I was overwhelmed by how many huge cookies they have to offer. Yes, I had some my research thanks to Yelp, but seeing the selection in person was WOW! Thankfully, the woman working the counter was super friendly, filling me in on what they had to offer and allowing some time to sit in their cute little shop and make my decision. I finally settled on one of the cookie specials: milk chocolate with nuts and a cafe con leche. The cafe con leche was just ok, but you're not coming here for coffee. The cookie was delicious. For the price and the size of the cookie, I couldn't eat these all the time, but I look forward to coming back and trying more yummy flavors.
Her cookies are absolutely amazing! You can tell they're made with love and quality ingredients from the very first bite. I tried the white chocolate macadamia toffee cookie, and let me tell you--it's hands down the best I've ever had. The combination of the rich white chocolate, buttery macadamia nuts, and that sweet, crunchy toffee is pure perfection. Each bite was soft, chewy, and full of flavor, with just the right balance of sweetness and texture. It's clear that she knows what she's doing when it comes to baking. If you're a cookie lover like me, you owe it to yourself to try these. I'm already looking forward to going back for more!
I've been hearing about the hype so this visit was long overdue. I ordered off Uber. I tried the chocolate chip, Nutella and lemon cloud. Cookies were huge! They were also surprisingly soft for their size. Chocolate chip was just the right amount of sweet, a little crispy on the outside. Nutella had a bit too much Nutella for my liking and I love Nutella but I do get it- there has to be a decent amount in it lol. The lemon cookie was the perfect balance. All in all, decent cookies

Cindy Lou's Cookies is the delicious creation of Chef Cindy Kruse, a pastry chef with more than 20 years of experience creating exceptional desserts. After earning a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Boston University and studying at The Culinary Institute of America, Cindy joined the opening team at Wolfgang Puck's Spago in Las Vegas in 1992. Throughout her impressive career, she has worked alongside renowned chefs including Emeril Lagasse, Charlie Trotter, Charlie Palmer, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. In 2003, she co-created desserts for the Emmy Awards and later served as Executive Pastry Chef at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach before leading dessert production at Barton G. She has been recognized in publications such as Wine Spectator, Gourmet, People, and Pastry Arts Magazine. Chef Kruse began baking her iconic oversized cookies full-time out of a garage in Coconut Grove in 2012. Five years later, she opened the first Cindy Lou's Cookies bakery in Miami's Little River neighborhood, where she continues to bake treats while also supplying local businesses and restaurants. Parking is available in the lot just south of the building, next door to Vegan Cuban Cuisine. The moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the most incredible aroma of freshly baked cookies and desserts. I received a warm welcome from the staff and was well taken care of throughout my visit with samples and suggestions. Choosing what to order is no easy task. The display is filled with tempting cookies, bread pudding, cake slices, sweet breads, Rice Krispie treats, mini pies, and other irresistible desserts. I thought I had already made up my mind, but then they started offering samples, which completely changed my decision. In addition to their regular menu, they feature rotating seasonal and limited-time specials. They also serve coffee which is the perfect partner to their rich desserts. I ended up with the Coconut Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie, the White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie, and the Toffee Bread Pudding. Before visiting Cindy Lou's, bread pudding wouldn't have even made my list of top ten desserts. After just one bite, I had to order it. It was rich, buttery, moist, and unforgettable. The cookies were equally impressive, thick, soft, loaded with flavor, and easily among the best I've ever had. They are on an entirely different level from the typical commercial cookie chains. Thank goodness Cindy Lou's Cookies isn't closer to where I live, or I'd probably be diabetic. However I'll definitely be stopping back the next time I'm in the area. After all, a balanced diet is one cookie in each hand! read more

I'm so glad I have to make a point to go to Little Haiti and to Cindy Lou's. If I could go more easily, I'd easily gain 15 pounds. I made a Toogoodtogo pickup with them and loved every item that was in the bag. The bakery is purely counter service---maybe there's a window counter where you can park yourself if you really want to dig into something? But they do not sell coffee or tea, a.k.a. your baked item staple drinks. They do sell milk to keep your inner child cozy. It's really more of a pick out items you want and take it home with you to indulge kind of a place. The space is clearly more industrial and dedicated to the baking part of things, and I'm completely okay with that! Here's what I got: Rocky road cookie: You know the crispy part of a brownie? Like brownie brittle but with things inside? This was that embodiment, with chunks of brownie batter surrounded by melted marshmallow and crunchy walnuts. It was so airy that I almost forgot I was eating a cookie, and calories. White chocolate macadamia cookie: Crunchy, a little chewy, a lot smooth white chocolate and macadamia flavor. So good. Funfetti cookie: One of my favorites, and I usually don't like sugar cookies! The shortbread in this cookie was light, buttery and crumbly without being greasy. I want one just thinking back on it! Oreo chocolate cookie: I took 4 days to eat this one because it was so dense and satisfying with a few small pieces at a time. There was a slight mocha flavor to the chewy, thick dough, topped heavily with Oreo pieces. Lots of stuff going on for a great time in the mouth, haha. Vegan banana nut bread: I legitimately thought this was crumble cake because of its sugar coated surface. It turned out to be a super moist, albeit a little oily, banana bread chock full of nuts. That sugar coated top, though, gave it that special bite that set it apart from a homemade banana bread. I was thinking I could make these items last for a week. They were gone in 4 days. I was so happy to have them and so sad when they were done. I will absolutely return to try the entire rest of their menu and gift them to anyone whenever I have a chance! read more
I'm not vegan nor have any dietary restrictions. But when it tastes amazing...I really don't care. And when I tried their Vegan Banana Nut Bread I was immediately hooked. So incredibly moist and not only was it moist on the spot but I tried my hardest to make it last a week and had a slice every day and I was shocked at how it maintained its moisture even on day 6. Not only was the Banana Nut Bread amazing but their cookies were also really good. I also grabbed a slice of Carrot Cake which is my wife's favorite. Well unfortunately for her I devoured most of it. Parking is easy next door. Staff is super friendly and helpful. And honestly if you can wall inside that shop get hit by that smell of delicious baked goods and not get anything then you are a much better person than me. Highly recommend Cindy Lou's! read more
Awesome cookies and bakery. Tony little location that's easy to miss, but we'll worth the hunt. Staff is friendly and efficient. The vibe is very much like that of a decades old, small business bakery that can be found in other parts of the country. The prices are good, the food is great, the service is top notch, and the feel is classic. What else can you say? read more

Cindy Lou's is hands down the best dessert shop in south Florida. The banana bread, carrot cake, white macadamia, captain crunch, choose your delight. Service is always friendly and welcoming. My advice to anyone looking for a dessert shop, this is the place. Overall, 5 G's. read more

Cindy Lou's is probably my favorite cookie place ever. My husband and I were looking for a dessert place to get our sweet fix in but also to bring some gifts home to California. We found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint. When we arrived we were overwhelmed by so many flavors of cookies. The staff was also very nice, very welcoming and super helpful. The girl at the counter also introduced us to Cindy herself who was the sweetest lady. We were happy to hear that they will also be opening in California soon. Mad respect to her cookie hustle. We bought 3 bags of cookies. Honestly I wish we bought more considering how good they were. They are $4 each and all very large and pretty thick. The Quesito was their specialty flavor, which is a guava cream cheese one. My favorite was the rocky road one which had house made marshmallows and chocolate. Yummmm! I'm not usually a fan of white chocolate macadamia but I am here. It was delicious. And honestly I liked them all. Everyone who had the cookies we bought them also really enjoyed them and couldn't get enough. They even had a keto chocolate chip for my dad who is diabetic. Oh and on the day we went Cindy was making her new matcha white chocolate macadamia one. Besides cookies they even had cakes, pies, breads, poundcake, and drinks. And sometimes the menu items change. I love that there were so many choices and variety that you are bound to find something you like. The inside is smaller but cute. There is outside seating for you to enjoy your treat and drink. There is a parking lot next to the store which makes it easy and nice. I really regret not buying more and can't wait until we can have their cookies again. read more

For the past few days, my boyfriend and I have been craving cookies. After a Google search of cookie places nearby, I came across Cindy Lou's Cookies. The reviews sounded promising, so today, we decided to see what this place was all about! AMBIANCE Firstly, this little pink shop is so cute! The moment we opened the doors, the sweet smell of baked goods filled our noses. The ambiance is fun, casual, and inviting. SERVICE I didn't catch her name, but the girl at the counter was so welcoming and kind. She introduced us to all of our options and gave us some info about them. Her joy and friendliness made us excited to return, even before we had our first bites. TREATS We came in to just pick a couple treats, but we couldn't control ourselves and kept choosing more and more things to try! Although we were tempted to get one of everything, we decided on: 1) pistachio pound cake 2) almond pound cake 3) fudge frosted sugar cookie 4) captain crunch cookie 5) quesito cookie ... WOW! The pound cakes were pillowy and moist, and sweet without being overpowering. They tasted similar to each other, with the almond cookie being a little lighter on flavor and the pistachio a little heavier on flavor. The cookies were huge and delicious! The sugar cookie was crumbly and mildly sweet like shortbread, and that fudge frosting was thick and chocolaty. The captain crunch has the perfect little crunch on the outside while being soft in the center. It was very sweet, which I enjoyed. The cereal itself has the right texture in my opinion. I was concerned it would be too hard, but it wasn't! The quesito was also yummy--very soft and a nice amount of sweetness. Everything tasted amazing. VERDICT It goes without saying: YES to everything! Yes, we loved the treats. Yes, we will be back. Thank you so much for everything. read more
