What started as a confident repeat purchase turned into a frustrating ordeal of delays and outright misrepresentations from a dealer I had previously trusted. I had reservations about the dial size for my 7.5 inch wrist. The salesman acknowledged that I was a returning customer and replied that if the watch did not fit or feel right, he would cover return shipping. I appreciated that and moved forward on that basis. The problems began before the watch even arrived. It was "lost" in Miami for over a week. I tried to cancel the purchase, but was convinced to allow them to send a replacement. When the replacement arrived, my original concern proved valid; the watch was clearly too small. The dealer tried to back out of the return postage commitment, though they eventually agreed to honor it after significant effort on my part. There were also troubling inconsistencies along the way. For example, the watch was clearly older stock, and when I asked about it, I was told that Omega had shipped new watches without boxes, and that an old box and old tags had been used as substitutes. I contacted Omega directly, and they denied this entirely. My email to the owner went unanswered, and shortly after I raised these concerns, I was blocked from the dealer's website without explanation. As a returning customer, I came in with goodwill and reasonable expectations of honesty. What I received instead were delays, contradictions, and a refusal to honor commitments without being pushed. At least two or three future purchases were on my list. None of them will be happening here. I would caution anyone considering a significant purchase from Exquisite Timepieces to look elsewhere, or at least get everything in writing and proceed carefully. read more

I fell in love with my green v1 moser streamliner, and when I saw the v2 center seconds moser strealiner released - in purple haze, AND with a much improved, decorated movement; i was interested. About 3-4 months ago, I came across a listing on exquisite timepieces via chrono24, so I emailed to inquire. Mike replied instantly, and let me know that unfortunately, it had *just* sold. I asked to be notified if they get another ine, but honestly I didn't really expect anything to happen given how rare these pieces are. Lo and behold, out of the blue on a (happy) Friday morning; I notice an email waiting from Mike letting me know they just received one and asking if I was interested. Sent me the listing/photos, and answered my questions - all within the span of 10 minutes. 5 minutes after that I had already given him a call, exchanged addresses and payment information, and it was done. Super thankful of Mike's fantastic memory and following up with my request, that's rare these days! I had the watch in my hands the very next day - from Naples, FL to Northern California. Watch was mint as described, full set as promised, and carefully and meticulously packaged (box in a box in a box!) I cannot think of a single thing that could have gone better. So after hearing multiple reviewers hype this place up on social media, I figured I would give it a try when shopping around for a new timepiece. I called, and after being greeted by the "your call will be recorded for quality assurance" message, got a salesman. He immediately started playing the game of, "What would you like to pay for this?" I told him what I knew someone else had payed for the same piece at the same location, and he basically scoffed at it as if I were making it up. He told me how his boss would never allow him to do this. He then told me about a pre-owned piece that he advised had just come in. He gave me a price and advised he would send me pics of the piece when we got off the phone. He didn't. I called back the next day to follow-up. Got a different salesman who offered me the piece I was originally looking for, closer to the price I originally asked for. I guess the boss would be okay with this salesman doing it and it wasn't that crazy of an ask after all . However, now I was interested in the pre-owned piece I had been told about the day before. The new salesman got me back in contact with my original salesman (unfortunately). The original salesman told me he sent the pics to the wrong email address and offered to resend them. Along with the pics, he had now raised the price of the watch by $200. When I informed him I would be interested in purchasing the piece at the price he had given me during our original conversation, he completely cut off communication with me. I guess I was not even worth continuation of the conversation anymore. Later in the week, I spoke to yet another salesperson. I asked to speak with a manager due to what I considered a very rude and unprofessional experience with the original salesman. This person advised me all the managers where in a "meeting". I asked for one of them to call me back when convenient. Needless to say, they never did. You may have had a great experience with this dealer and I'm happy if you did. I just want whoever is looking to be prepared if you encounter "game playing" and salespeople who don't seem to care about developing you as a customer if they can't make a quick and easy sale. read more
