The last watch repair was an expensive trip to the mall, the man who changed the batteries also said the watches would last two years. Unfortunately, both watches had the batteries last for only a year. After reading the reviews for Quality Time, we decided to give them a try. The shop is easy to find, it's in a good location off Tamiami Trail. The shop has an old time look with antique clocks on display. One clock even reminded me of a mantel clock that my grandparents had. If you don't like antiques, no worries, Noime was fast and efficient. He got to work right away and the four watches I bought in, were done after only a few minutes. The price of each watch was a little over ten dollars, much better than the overpriced mall! He said the batteries would last around a year and he didn't make overinflated claims about the battery life. Honesty in a business is always appreciated and I have no doubt he did a good job. This is a small business that I'm happy to recommend, a good price with quality work can be hard to find. Going forward, Quality Time will be our new watch repair store. read more

There's a lot to be said for locally owned crafts-persons. Battery replacements and new bands can be had at any of the chain stores but walking into a shop owned by a master tech just feels better. All of my friends recommended Nomi from quality time service. also known as the watch guy by Joe's Diner. He usually charges around $10 to put in a fresh battery. Slightly more if it needs cleaning and repairs. He has been in the area a long time and he knew of a few of the watch experts who have since left town. My watch has been in a safe deposit for a few years then sitting in my cup holder for about a month. There was some corrosion of the old battery but Nomi was able to clean it up and installed a fresh battery. He uses the best quality battery that Omega recommended, Renata. Walked in handed my watch to the owner he replaced the battery and handed the watch back. $10. That fast and easy.

Took my watch in for a new battery. When I arrived the place was closed, even though I went at 11am on a week day during normal business hours. The lights were out and a Closed sign was in the window. I tried calling but there was no answer. A couple hours later I called again and a man answered and said "I'm back now". I went back and he replaced my battery in about 2 minutes and charged a very reasonable fee. The previous time when the battery died I took it to a high end jeweler who charged 8x more. So overall I was pleased with the service, but I would advise anyone planning to go there to call first and make sure they are open. read more

This place is outstanding! My Tag Heuer watch was running very slowly, loosing about 15mins per hour. I took it to a nearby jeweler for a new battery, didn't help. I decided to take it to Quality Time for a repair estimate. I walked in without an appointment and the gentleman took it right back to his work bench, opened it up, cleaned and oiled it and so far it's running great. HE CHARGED ME NOTHING...-FREE! I took an antique wind up clock in there that was not running and the chimes had been removed. He told me he could fix it no problem in 6 weeks. I gave him 8 weeks and called to check on it. I was told the clock was at the "other shop". I called a couple of days later and was told that it would be another two weeks. I gave him four before I called again. I was told it would be another two weeks. This went on for 6 months until I finally grew tired of the game and asked for my clock back in whatever condition it was in. I picked it up and to his credit, he did have it running and keeping good time. No chimes though. From my time in his store watching the foot traffic I would say that this guy's strength is watches and that clocks are more of a hobby. His supply chain and resources probably are not well developed for clock service. He gets the poor rating for the 6 months of telling me "two weeks" and making feel like I was being played for a sucker. read more

This is nothing short of a disaster of a business. My Omega watch has been there 5 months! I have been back almost 10 times and each time the owner takes a while to even find the watch (even with the claim number) and then tells me he will be working on it this afternoon and will call me back the next day, which he never does so I go back and the process repeats. It appears I will have to pick up the watch up without a fix as I tried the BBB but no response. I'll definitely have the watch thoroughly checked for any new issues. I think this is happening with other customers as the gentleman ahead of me during my last visit complained about the same circumstances. New customers be aware! read more

HORRIBLE!! Took my wind-up wall clock in for repair and to re-glue the glass into the pendulum port last September. Called a month later to see if ready .. nope. Called in mid-November because I wanted it for Christmas. Not ready...not even looked at yet. Called a week before Christmas and was left on hold over 20 minutes. Called in January and was told not ready. Same results in February. In March they moved out of Fort Myers location to Naples and couldn't find my clock. Finally in April they finally call my to say the clock was repaired and they could bring it to old Fort Myers location but cost of repairs was $265 which I paid. Finally got my clock back and hung in the family room but ... clock still NOT repaired because it stops at 10:27 daily and chimes still sound muted. The only 'repair' it seems they did was to glue the glass back on the pendulum port (which now has 2 screws missing). I would NOT recommend at all but this review required a star! BEWARE!! read more

My 94 year old father brought his Rolex Watch in for maintenance. He was told it would take 3 weeks. After three weeks he called and was told it would take longer. This went on for several weeks and several calls from my father. He felt he was getting the run around. The watch was finally ready in 104 days, which is more than 14 weeks. We feel that if it was going to take longer than expected, the jeweler should have contacted my dad and explained the situation. It caused a lot of worry and anxiety that was uncalled for. read more

Be prepared parking is difficult. The owner knows how a business should be run. Very small shop with great repairs and prices. I suggest you don't go at peak dinning times as Joes dinner patrons take up most spots. Well worth the drive from bonita springs in peak snow bird season. We went in hoping he could fix a watch for our son. We had gone to another place and was told it couldn't be fixed. This watch really doesn't have any big cash value , but it sure does have a sentimental value to our son. His grandfather passed away last year and this was his watch. Our son wore this watch even though it didn't work. When we found this place we were hoping that it could be repaired. He tried to fix it but couldn't so he told us to leave it and he would work on it. We know it would be easier just to buy him a new watch but it just wouldn't be the same for our son. He was extremely close to his grandfather they shared all their birthdays together until our sons 15th and his grandfathers 90th they were only one day apart. We told him our story and he said he understood and would really try to get it working. So when he called and said the watch was ready and working we were just so thankful.
