Unfortunately not only was the customer service horrible but so was the service provided to me. While expressing what I wanted to get done I confirmed with Chohee if it was achievable. She said absolutely! I was thrilled and excited and said lets do it, we agreed on a price $400. I thought it was a bit pricey but said I deserve to treat myself. I was sitting in that chair for 4 hours. My phone died. I was hungry and thirsty. No one asked if i needed anything or check up on me. She was attending other clients and overall I felt neglected throughout the whole process. Despite the poor treatment and feeling of abandonment, i still had high hope that I would receive my new look and it would all be worth it. I stayed calm, kind and patient. She then revealed the final result and it was not what I had asked for. I pulled up the reference picture and said to her "I was going more for this look, is this it or were you still working on my hair?" No attitude, no negative tone, just a question. She suddenly got defensive and said she did not appreciate me saying "is this it?" And that she felt insulted. I apologized to her and said "that wasn't my intention it's just that I've been sitting here for hours expecting a different result that we discussed and agreed to." She said if I wanted that look then it would be another $300 and probably another 2 hours. I was shocked. She changed the price from what we discussed and at this point I felt like she was trying to take advantage of me. As Chohee was finishing the final steps of my appointment she was extremely cold, and unpleasant to be around. I felt VERY uncomfortable. I felt like i was beings reasonable and accommodating the whole appointment and to be treated so poorly really disappointed me and made me feel so small. Definitely won't be coming back here.

The salon is tucked in the corner of a shopping center. Not too difficult to find. The inside is clean and simple. Sofia was super welcoming and very sweet. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she knew exactly what I was talking about. My hair was...a mess. I hadn't cut it in over a year. And it was so dead and unshaped. But Sofia turned that mess into a haircut that I totally love! The best part is that Sofia is SO nice and sincere. And her prices are totally reasonable. I will definitely be coming back to her. I highly recommend her!!

Nori is one of the finest stylists you can frequent…read more He has a meticulous attention to details and I super appreciate his precision cuts. He services his scissors in Japan semi-annually just to maintain his equipments in great condition. This helps prevent split ends and other hair troubles I used to frequently encounter. Nori also uses a scale to formulate the hair colors. You can feel assured you won't come out of the salon looking funky. Appointments can be made online directly from his website, or by emailing/texting him directly. He is very flexible and accommodating with appointments. Lastly, parking can be found adjacent from the salon building structure. You can also charge your EV for free too. Amex accepted and drinks and clean environment offered. Can't recommend Nori enough.

I went in to get a perm and cut…read more The vibe was very nice. Very respectful. His space was very clean and tidy with what seems, state of the art tools. I have had fine hair all my life, but even still my hair has always taken well to perms, always. Even the last one over a year ago. The only complaint I had was the use of larger rods which made my hair more wavy curl than curly. Nori had said that my hair wouldn't take well to a perm, but because I know my hair's history, I asked him do it anyway and he agreed to do it. First he used a more gentle solution because of my pervious perm over a year ago (did not ask if I wanted that), and I didn't know until he was already in the process of using it on my hair... my hair needs the stronger solution. Second he did a loose curl wrap instead of a tight curl wrap. With fine hair (or at least my hair) it needs to be curled up against the scalp. I think he did this because it was a hot treatment perm (which I never had before) vs a cold treatment perm. He didn't give an option. So the perm came out ok on the bottom because it already had the previous perm that was there from a year ago. But the top part of my hair had virtually no difference. If you have fine hair and looking to get a perm, I would not recommend Nori. I'm sure he does really well with all other hair services. To his credit, the perm itself, aside from the lack of curl, was a healthy perm (did not harm my hair) and he did give a very nice cut prior to the perm process. I think if he would have explained his treatment process and how it differed from what I had previously experienced, that may have helped my decision to go elsewhere, before wasting over $200 I had taken a year 1/2 to save. Again I think he probably does really well with the other services he provides. I just think for women (or men) with fine hair, you may want to think twice if you're looking to get a perm.

I brought in example/ inspo photo (just simple long layer cut) and asked for face framing pieces and showed it to the stylist, but the stylist barely looked at the photo. My hair looked nothing like the photo I showed, and it was cut much shorter than expected and the end feels choppy. I gave it more chance by washing and drying the day after, but it's overall disappointing. I had mentioned a few times I want to keep it longer like the picture I showed, but it wasn't heard. I couldn't say much more once the stylist made the very first snip and had to go along with it. It became even shorter by the end. I wish the stylist had been more proactive about the consultation before proceeding with the cut. I got an impression that the stylist wanted to get through the hair cut session as a quickly as possible. This was for upcoming graduation, so it is more disappointing. Again, very nice lady. Not too sure if it's just one time issue!
