I just wanna grab something and relax at home. I picked up my phone and searched on Yelp for restaurants near me. Bamboo Wok appeared on the top of the list...ok, let's do Chinese. Located in the Westcreek Common Shopping Center, Bamboo Wok serves up a vast variety of Hunan, Szechuan, and Mandarin cuisine. Upon entering, I greeted a male employee behind the counter and placed an order for a pint of house special fried rice. The food was prepared really quickly and it was cooked to satisfaction. Filled with tender pieces of roast pork, chicken, shrimp, onions, and peas. It wasn't greasy or salty. There's a table with boxes filled with utensils, sauce packets, napkins, and fortune cookies. I helped myself to a few things before walking out. Looking forward to coming back soon whenever I'm in the area.

I got the pork fried dumplings and they were perfectly crisp on one side with very tasty soy sauce. I also got the sesame chicken dinner which came with enough food to last 3 meals and I really enjoyed it. I will say I wish there was more rice, but it was packed with chicken. I ordered delivery and it came very fast and hot. I will for sure be ordering from here again!

I got the Sesame Tofu, and it was a good-sized portion of nicely fried tofu and lots of perfectly cooked broccoli. My boyfriend got the Garlic Chicken combo dinner and he was pleasantly surprised with everything, even the wonton soup that came with his meal. The guy working there that day was not expecting us to want to dine in, since it seems like all of their customers order takeout or delivery, but he gladly gave us some disposable plates and plastic utensils after we got our food in takeout containers. He was very nice and seemed both appreciative and amused that I attempted to speak in Cantonese with him (I am very rusty). Again, since it's a takeout spot, there were only two small tables inside and no outdoor seating, but it was extremely clean inside and very bright, unlike most Chinese takeout spots. Would happily come back here and try other tofu dishes!

The food was excellent! I'm sure the service at this establishment would be the same. It's was gourmet even though it was delivery. Bourbon chicken and low mien, I believe I got an egg roll with it. The food was great. Presentation was phenomenal and I couldn't believe how they incorporated fruits and vegetables to make it even better than I imagined. Must try! 1-Star Review -- Hong Kong Chinese Food…read more Extremely disappointing experience, and honestly, the customer service bothered me even more than the food. I ordered Chow Mei Fun and specifically told the lady on the phone, "Make sure it's the skinny noodles." I was very clear about that. When I asked to add beef and shrimp, she handed the phone to a gentleman who finished taking my order. I drove a good distance to pick this food up and spent over $30. Normally I check my food before leaving, but the bag was stapled/stamped closed, so I figured there was no reason to tear everything open in the restaurant. BIG MISTAKE. I got all the way home, opened the bag, and immediately saw these big, thick noodles. It looked completely different from what I ordered. I called the restaurant right away and explained that they gave me the wrong order and that I specifically requested the skinny noodles. Instead of apologizing, checking what happened, or offering a solution, the gentleman simply told me, "That's what you ordered, sir." That response rubbed me completely the wrong way. I work in the hospitality industry, and mistakes happen--I understand that better than most people. The problem isn't always the mistake; it's how you handle the mistake. He didn't offer to remake it, tell me to bring it back, give me a credit, or even attempt to make the situation right. It was basically, that's what you ordered, as if the restaurant couldn't possibly have made an error. And to make matters worse, whatever dish they actually gave me was disgusting. So now I drove all that way, spent over $30, received something I didn't order, didn't enjoy the food, and then got attitude when I called about it. That's how you lose a customer. I would never handle one of my guests that way. If someone tells you their order is wrong, at minimum you listen and try to find a solution. Hospitality is about more than taking somebody's money--it's about how you treat them when something goes wrong. They lost me as a customer. I will not be eating here again.

Food looked good prepared but not as good as it looked. Many traditional Vietnamese and Chinese dishes served, but not close to authentically tasting. We had the General Tao's chicken which I personally think I've had better with an order of take out before. As for the pho noodle soup, broth was bland and seems like it was simple beef broth used from a can as it was missing lots of the depth of flavors and herbs like a real traditional pho broth should be. Both dishes tasted more commercialized than authentic. However service was fast and our waiter brought the food out timely despite being a busy night.

We ordered Beef Pho and General Chicken. Both were ok we had better. Waiter forgot to bring chopsticks we had to ask for them. We were seated in a corner on a high top. Not the best spot but glad we were able to have a quick bite to eat and fast. Nice Modern Asian aesthetic with warm amber lighting. Prices are moderate and the place does not feel chaotic for being inside the casino. The noise of the casino stays outside.

They have something for absolutely everyone and of course signature dishes. It's located in a strip mall with an open kitchen. It's basically a to-go Asian style place. The food is made to order so it's fresh, hot, tasty, and consistent. Offering supreme dishes with reasonable prices and large portions. The prices are very economical for the quantity and the lunch specials are even less prices from Monday to Friday. My favorite order is the combination which includes an eggroll rice and an entrée. Add a wonton soup for just a dollar more. The chicken, lo mein, and the sweet-and-sour chicken never disappoints. Best eggroll in town by the way. The service is super quick and the staff is so kind. This time we ordered the honey garlic chicken, chicken lo mein, wonton soup and eggrolls. The honey garlic chicken came with the sauce on the side so you can choose how much sauce you would like. It was a garlic-y sauce but addicting as to how good it was. I got that dish with pork fried rice which was perfect. The wonton soup had a ton of wontons in it which was also fantastic. My favorite part of Chinese takeout are the eggrolls and china sea has some of the best! I literally go there just to order eggrolls after a Publix shopping trip from time to time. Last but not least my favorite entree is the chicken lo mein. I order it usually with white rice to balance out the flavors and it doesn't disappoint. The lo mein has a ton of chicken throughout and always cooked to perfection. It's a huge portion too. I love china sea as it's my go to spot for Chinese takeout! You can't go wrong with it if you are in the area and looking for some Chinese food that will be cooked quickly and consistently every time you visit.
