I highly recommend Miguel at Express Windshield Repair! My daughter recently had a chip in her windshield, and Miguel did an excellent job repairing it. My family and I have used his services more than 5 times, and we continue to go back because of the quality of his work and the pride he takes in his business. He's professional, reliable, and truly cares about doing a great job for his customers. We're always happy to support a local small business owner who takes pride in what he does. Highly recommend Miguel! read more

I had a great experience with Express Windshield Repair. A large rock hit the windshield on my BMW M2 and left a pretty noticeable chip. He was able to repair it quickly, fill it in so it wouldn't spread, and make it look much less noticeable. The quality of the work was excellent and the whole process was straightforward. After seeing how good the repair turned out, I had him come back to fix smaller chips on my parents' cars as well--an Audi A5 and a Ford F-150 Lightning. Same great results on both, even better than the M2 since they were much smaller. One thing I really appreciate is that he offers both mobile service and repairs at his shop. I chose the mobile option for the M2 and paid a small mobile fee, but it was totally worth the convenience. When he came out the second time for the other two cars, he even gave us a great deal. Overall, very professional, honest pricing, and high-quality work. He'll definitely be my go-to windshield repair guy going forward. read more

Called Safelite - went in loops with the automated phone system and couldn't get them to commit to a quote - not even an approximate range. Saw Express Windshield Repair on Yelp! (with good reviews) and thought that a company dedicated to chip repair should be pretty good at it. Called and the process was easy - send a photo of the chip with a white background and get a quote, then set up an appointment. Miguel made sure I understood the process and he did a great job. I thought the pricing was fair relative to chips I had repaired on previous vehicles in years past. Plus - he's a really nice guy. read more

This is my second time (different car) getting a rock chip fixed on my front window. Miguel helped me fix my Mercedes Benz window back in 2020. It came out flawless, that I could barely even find the chip. Recently in 2024, another rock cracked my windshield while driving on the 101. I contacted Miguel, and we were taken care of within a few days! Easy to make appointments, great communication, and most importantly, professional quality and outstanding service. I don't write too many reviews, but I want to help out great people doing honest work! I Will recommend Miguel to my friends & family who need their windshield repaired! Thanks Miguel! read more

Miguel did a great job on my Audi Q5 windshield after a rock chipped it leaving a quarter size spider crack. The repair totally met my hopes (and I am generally picky with these things) - there is a small mark left behind where the rock hit the glass, but no visible cracks with a risk of expanding. Other than the quality of the work, the interaction with Miguel was transparent as he explained the process before starting working on my car and pleasant as we had a good chat while he was taking care of it. Totally recommended! read more

Miguel was fast to respond. After submitting pictures of my windshield rock chip, he was honest and thorough in his estimate, letting me know exactly what to expect with the fix. He was on time with the fix and repair took less than half an hour. The cost and convenience is hard to beat! Highly recommend. read more

Miguel was extremely professional and on time to help me fix my windshield's double impact break. Before meeting him to fix the break. He gave me tips on maintaining the break so that the glass damage did not spread. He kindly reviewed the terms and conditions once more, to ensure I understood what the risk were, even though it fairly low risk that it would further damage the glass. He explained how the process worked and what he was going to do. I could tell that he was so knowledgeable. Miguel clearly has done this for years. Beyond the quality of his work, Miguel was just so sweet and easy to talk to, since there was so much down time as we waited for the glass to cure. I love supporting locals. I'm so happy with his work and I'll definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone. read more

I had Miguel repair a rock chip in my windshield today. It now just looks like a tiny white spot which is barely noticeable from the inside. He fixed a similar one on my other car about 6 months ago and with no problems since. He is friendly, professional and clearly knows what he's doing. His process will protect your expensive windshield and importantly his price is reasonable. I'll use him next time and I would recommend Miguel to anyone looking for windshield repair. read more

With small-business owners like Miguel I try to support, the experience is often decided by the integrity, skill, punctuality, customer focus and above all - trustworthiness of the business owner. There is always the chance of being ghosted, after all, especially if anything goes wrong. In the crowded Bay Area, its never easy to get this right, both from the provider's end as well as the customer's end. Miguel is absolutely top-notch in all of the above aspects, and someone I could trust fully with his skills and integrity. He is skilled and has integrity to the point where he tells when don't need to spend money on the repair/problem. I wish all small-business owners were like Miguel in customer focus and integrity. read more

Express Windshield Repair - CRACKED WINDSHIELD - Auto Glass Services Near Me - San Jose, California

One day while driving down Highway 101 South, the small car in front of me kicked up a pebble that left a chip in my windshield. I got home, parked in the garage, put packing tape across the chip, and measured the length of the chip (.3 inches) and distance from the nearest edge (7 inches from passenger edge). The next day I called Miguel of Express Windshield Repair (https://www.yelp.com/biz/express-windshield-repair-san-jose-4), sent him some pictures of the damage, and he was able to schedule me for a repair at his location the next morning at 8AM for $60, which was the cheapest of the 2 other South Bay places I called (the others charged $109 and $65). He could have come to my location for additional cost, but I opted to go to him. Miguel was great to work with. He was responsive over call and text. When I got to his location and found it hard to park (it's a 1 car driveway and I have difficulty parking unless it's super spacious), he helped guide me into the driveway. The fix took 20 mins but I stayed for 45 mins b/c Miguel took the time to explain what he was doing and describe the other fixes he's done. When I left, he helped guide me out of the driveway as well. I unreservedly recommend Miguel for your windshield repair needs. He is honest and kind, and I will definitely come back again if I (God forbid) need to have my windshield repaired again. If you go, tell him Vicky referred you! read more

Heard about Miguel through Vince F. As the glass specialist for Audi Fremont, I knew he must have a very high standard of work. (I get my car serviced there and if @Audigirl recommends him, that's more than enough for me.) Plus since he's doing a lot of dealership work, I knew he had a lot of experience, especially with Audis. Miguel was able to radically improve the rock chip on the 1 month old Audi we just got. Heard a loud crack driving on the freeway but didn't see anything on the windshield so was hoping it just bounced off somehow and got lucky. Well, yes and no -- the chip was on the black band below the line of sight. Miguel came to my house and made it look a LOT better in just 30 min. Very friendly, super professional, and mask-friendly. Hope to avoid any future chips, but feel a lot better I know who to call if that happens. read more

Honest, proficient, and professional. Three words not always seen in the auto repair industry. I sent a quote request via yelp to various companies, and Miguel was the first one to get back to me. After sending him a photo of the windshield he quoted me $50 for the fix. Which was way better than the $100 - $175 I was being quoted by others. I made the appointment with Miguel for the next day. He took one look at my windshield and said that I did not have a break but a chip. He then found a second chip, said he could fill it in with resin and not charge me at all. The reason is that the filling would not make the chip go away 100%. All in all, it took about 30 min for him to fill in the chips. I appreciated his honesty so I gave him $20 for filling in the two chips. I totally recommend Miguel if you need any help with your windshield. read more

Miguel picked up his phone on the third ring, even though I did not end up getting a repair done by him, you can tell he cares about his business and was honest regarding my windshield rock chip and not repairing it at this moment.
