Cary (the owner) came in with the first of several estimates. Of the contractors I contacted, he best understood what I wanted. My house had rotting window frames, uneven bad-looking shake shingle siding that was long past the day I should have done something about it. A house down the street had the look I wanted, and Cary quoted me the price. I also asked about replacing my front and side doors. The siding color I wanted was a special order, so I had to wait a couple weeks for it to be made. It was well worth the wait. Lifetime supplied a brand called "Perfection" and it is truly perfect siding. The siding sections lock together in a way that I don't think even a hurricane would loosen them. All the rotted wood was replaced with Azek trim. The result is my 70-year-old run-down house now looks like a new build. The doors that leaked cold air during the winter are gone. I am very satisfied.

I did call Rott to let them know how their company was being represented. Such a disappointment. I liked everything about the way he did business, so I went with them. The roofing was done in 1 day and the team of 13 guys he had was efficient clean and very pleasant. A Lead showed up for the delivery of the roofing to make sure it was properly placed to protect my driveway. The team that came to do the siding was just as good. They all seemed very happy to be at their jobs and just did a fantastic job. I had all the windows and doors rewrapped and had all new gutters. My wife and I couldn't be happier.

Jake had an excellent presentation - They were the lowest bidder - The roof looks good and I have not had any issues with it. - Their "A" team came out to correct some issues (the flashing looked like it had been installed by a 4th grader) The Bad: - I was told that a PM would be onsite the entire time. In reality he was on site for maybe 10% of the project - My project was sub-contracted out to a another team and I was NOT informed of this. This became a major problem when I started having issues and could not talk to anyone (the subcontractors did not speak english). Note that Buffalo Fresh Roof is NOT the company you are signing with. The contract is actually with Bors Pros Construction - Within an hour on the first day, the protective tarps had come down and there was debris raining down on my deck and flower beds. When the PM showed up at the end of the day, he said that this could not be helped. Of course, that is garbage - they wouldn't put the tarps up if they didn't have a purpose. Also, this is not what I was told in pre-sales. As a side note, I saw the same sub-contractors working on a project down the street for another company a few weeks later. There were no problems with the tarps on that project. - The roofers decided to try to do a u-turn in my lawn and got stuck (I still have the ruts). They then gave me attitude when I refused to try to pull them out using my truck. - I have damage to my gutters, deck, flower beds and lawn. - I am still finding nails around the perimeter of the house To be fair, the PM did knock off the additional cost incurred in replacing some of the plywood. It wasn't worth what I am going to have to spend in the spring to fix my yard, flowerbeds and lawn - I just wanted them gone.

They cost between $300-$500 each installed. Over the last several years, I've been a do it yourselfer and bought blinds from Lowe's. Those blinds are not even close to the same quality as what I got from Budget Blinds. It is amazing how much money you could spend on blinds. While it took a while to receive the blinds, the installation was done professionally, and efficiently. Even though, one blind was cut too wide, Kyle [rep] came back and promised to replace it at no charge with the correct size. [I will update my review as soon as the replacement blind is installed]. Please note, I was also referred to a store in North Buffalo/Kenmore. I called them on the phone. They weren't very nice, and I wrote them off. I happened to be driving past the store one day, and so I stopped in and spoke to someone and actually provided the measurements of my windows. I explained to the back office person who was covering for the two sales people who are at the show house, that I wanted to get another estimate. They never called me back! In the store, all the blinds that I was shown were very expensive. High-quality, But 2-4 times the price on average, of what I spent with Budget Blinds. Call Kyle. She was great.

They had to fix a number of issues including dry-rot, lack of insulation, replacing various layers of the exterior around the windows and weather-proofing the house in parts where it was lacking. They came out in a very timely manner to provide a quote. Corvair clearly explains the work he is carrying out and is very knowledgeable at what he does. Their team is hard-working on-site. Upon discovering some further issues, he offered options on how to proceed, some of which involved more work but when he reached those decision points he was very clear and prompt as to what the benefit of the additonal work at the time. I trust the quality and of their work and will keep coming back to Charge Construction. Him and his team do great work and the prices are fair for the quality of service provided. Our most recent install was this past week, on the rainiest day, to complete all new windows in our home. For both installs, the entire experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. We bought a new house in August and it needed new windows! However we didn't know how bad we needed them until winter! We had a baby and the house was freezing all the time. We couldn't have this so we called Express! They came so quickly for a quote! The gentleman was so polite and kind and informational! We talked for a couple days and decided we had to do this. So here we are in December doing windows! The guys were professional and clean and courteous and they worked so fast. Now I know fast isn't always good but when it comes to windows in December it's very important! They didn't even leave a trace of a mess and the molding is perfectly in tact! In 40 years, I've had to replace only of the original 32 I had installed. And this was not a fault of the window but of the old house's window frame shifting on the weather side. They sell quality windows and doors, use experienced installers, and are well organized. DEALING WITH THEM IS SO EASY. When you phone, a company person answers the phone and responds to your need. DONE! Their follow-up repair service is also excellent. They respond, however small the problem.

Our experience with Big L started off exceptionally well -- attentive, great service, though a bit…read moremore pricey than other quotes. We decided to go with Big L because they are local and felt like we wanted to support the "little" local company. We signed the contract and off we went. Our doors came in, were installed. They stiffed us on the first installation day, but then showed up unexpectedly a few days later. The problem is, the doors they installed were the wrong color and not what we ordered and the hardware was wrong. One screen was slashed from top to bottom. This wasn't evident until after they were installed. Our house is architecturally significant, and the installer had to create new holes and install hardware where there wasn't hardware before. Big L indicated they could just swap out the doors and get us the right color, but that that would leave us with holes and damage from the original installation. Not optimal. After MONTHS of badgering us for payment, but not making any effort to remedy the wrong hardware or ripped screen, we paid a reduced balance, and are left with doors that don't match our house, aren't what we wanted, and without any service to make it right. Oh, and the screen on one of them is still trashed. I wouldn't recommend Big L. There are lots of small companies out there. Try one of those instead.

The worker from BGB had to use my husband's drill, 2x4 and the contractors' nails. Then he asked the contractor to check if the window was leveled. After the window was installed, we had a 2in gap from the window to the frame. Buffalo glass came to remeasure the window frame TWICE before scheduling the install. The installer was going to leave my window with a 2in gap (in the winter) until my contractor told him he can't leave it like that for the customer. That's when the worker used our 2x4 and placed it where the gap was. When the worked went outside to fill in the space from the old window he left a hole the mortar (they sent the same guy a different day to fix it) If our contractor wasn't at our house that day the window would not be install that's for sure. I called Chris to let him know that the worker showed up with no tools and he didnt say much told him what happened and did seem to care. Didn't even offer some any compensation.

Order took longer to come in then quoted ...found this out after calling a week after arrival date.Installers were given a weekday and weekend day as availability .Neither were convenient for THEM ! Had to call owner to get a more reasonable date .When the day came several installers arrived ( friendly) but work was not without issues. We were told our 10yr old screen door which was in good condition could not be installed without gaps. They did not have replacement parts in color to match (told... you can paint the one we put on! )Then they installed WRONG door! When the owner was contacted he blamed factory.NO apology until I called to complain. We were told they would do a rush order and all problems would be fixed when they came back.4 wks later I had to call to find out where our door was??!Again no apology ,they came installed door and did very poor job of fixing gaps etc. The reply I received when I told him how disappointed we were in his professionalism, workmanship and lack of any offer to compensate the issues was "Well it wasn't my fault the factory screwed up" ! Do yourself a favor go elsewhere and get references....

I told him possibly the call dropped so he called back and got the answering machine won't do business with them again.
