Jake had an excellent presentation - They were the lowest bidder - The roof looks good and I have not had any issues with it. - Their "A" team came out to correct some issues (the flashing looked like it had been installed by a 4th grader) The Bad: - I was told that a PM would be onsite the entire time. In reality he was on site for maybe 10% of the project - My project was sub-contracted out to a another team and I was NOT informed of this. This became a major problem when I started having issues and could not talk to anyone (the subcontractors did not speak english). Note that Buffalo Fresh Roof is NOT the company you are signing with. The contract is actually with Bors Pros Construction - Within an hour on the first day, the protective tarps had come down and there was debris raining down on my deck and flower beds. When the PM showed up at the end of the day, he said that this could not be helped. Of course, that is garbage - they wouldn't put the tarps up if they didn't have a purpose. Also, this is not what I was told in pre-sales. As a side note, I saw the same sub-contractors working on a project down the street for another company a few weeks later. There were no problems with the tarps on that project. - The roofers decided to try to do a u-turn in my lawn and got stuck (I still have the ruts). They then gave me attitude when I refused to try to pull them out using my truck. - I have damage to my gutters, deck, flower beds and lawn. - I am still finding nails around the perimeter of the house To be fair, the PM did knock off the additional cost incurred in replacing some of the plywood. It wasn't worth what I am going to have to spend in the spring to fix my yard, flowerbeds and lawn - I just wanted them gone.

A Lead showed up for the delivery of the roofing to make sure it was properly placed to protect my driveway. The team that came to do the siding was just as good. They came out and gave me an estimate where a competitor wanted to come out and do the work but wouldn't give me a ball park number first. Others didn't respond. The weather caused the appointment to be pushed multiple times (snow and high speed winds which is what caused the damage in the first place), but the work is done and the gutter appears very secure now. Pricing seemed reasonable for the time and materials used. They were friendly and open to various payment options. The estimate came slightly under the quote, (rounding distance so very slight) which is always nice. Notes: I know it's hard being a contractor and taking calls while working, but more prompt notifications about appointments being moved would be nice. Communication wasn't timely but I had the sense that there wasn't a home office fielding work, so I'm certainly more understanding. Hard to be timely when you're dangling from roofs trying to get work down before the next storm wave. They were certainly better than some other contractors I recently worked with.

We had the roof and all gutters replaced in the fall of 2025. The job was done promptly at a…read morecompetitive price but we had a couple of major issues afterward. The roof started leaking at the vent pipe location. They first sent a guy who, instead of taking responsibility, completely denied there was any problem with the roof and said the vent pipe itself was the problem as it was rusted. We spent a $100 on getting the vent pipe checked out by an HVAC technician, who told us that the pipe was fine - no issues. So, I had to climb on the roof with a garden hose and run water on the roof to show that it was because of bad roof installation - I sent JP the video of the problem (the flashing of the vent pipe was not properly meshed with the shingles), and only then they agreed to fix it. The second problem is with the gutters, which are still not fixed. There is a gap between the new gutters and the roof, which is letting water to come through the gap. I have been trying to get hold of the person - they have promised to come 4 times over the last month but still have not fixed the problem. I have stayed home from work a couple of times just for it, and they did not even inform me that they were not going to make it that day. All in all, a very bad post-install service - a complete lack of professionalism!
