They came out and gave me an estimate where a competitor wanted to come out and do the work but wouldn't give me a ball park number first. Others didn't respond. The weather caused the appointment to be pushed multiple times (snow and high speed winds which is what caused the damage in the first place), but the work is done and the gutter appears very secure now. Pricing seemed reasonable for the time and materials used. They were friendly and open to various payment options. The estimate came slightly under the quote, (rounding distance so very slight) which is always nice. Notes: I know it's hard being a contractor and taking calls while working, but more prompt notifications about appointments being moved would be nice. Communication wasn't timely but I had the sense that there wasn't a home office fielding work, so I'm certainly more understanding. Hard to be timely when you're dangling from roofs trying to get work down before the next storm wave. They were certainly better than some other contractors I recently worked with.

Cary (the owner) came in with the first of several estimates. Of the contractors I contacted, he best understood what I wanted. My house had rotting window frames, uneven bad-looking shake shingle siding that was long past the day I should have done something about it. A house down the street had the look I wanted, and Cary quoted me the price. I also asked about replacing my front and side doors. The siding color I wanted was a special order, so I had to wait a couple weeks for it to be made. It was well worth the wait. Lifetime supplied a brand called "Perfection" and it is truly perfect siding. The siding sections lock together in a way that I don't think even a hurricane would loosen them. All the rotted wood was replaced with Azek trim. The result is my 70-year-old run-down house now looks like a new build. The doors that leaked cold air during the winter are gone. I am very satisfied.

My gutter was formed onsite to the custom requested length, which was fun to watch! My gutter had fallen due to water/ice build up and weight. They reinstalled my multiple piece gutter with a single piece and doubled the reinforcements to ensure it wouldn't fail again. Additionally they were willing to install a bird screen while they were up there (tall two story house) Overall I was happy with the speed of service, removal and disposal of the old gutter, the installation and final look. I'd have loved to get it all at the ball park price, but I felt like I still got a good deal for everything. Based on this experience I'd absolutely recommend.

I called Gutter King, left a message around 6:00p and had a return call first thing the next morning. Later that day, I had someone at my house giving me an estimate. I accepted the bid and they scheduled appointment for the next day(usually I am told it's within a week, but we are currently in the off season). The workers arrived on time and got right to work. Within 2 hours they had my old gutters down, the new ones up and the site cleaned up. The gutters look great, come with a 10 year workmanship warranty and an even longer warranty on the materials. Even though it was a little more expensive than I would have liked, I would use them again in the future or recommend them to someone else.
