Express Reface did a great job on a small bathroom vanity project. I wanted to save the existing pink tile countertop and sink but the old original vanity needed an upgrade. Every step from the first phone call to the end of the project was easy and stress-free. They were quick to schedule an in -home measurement and I didn't have to wait very long for the project to be scheduled. It was done in one day and I'm so happy with the results. read more

Jodi Palmer, Xavier, and the rest of the team at Express Reface did a wonderful job overhauling the kitchen, dining room, and bathroom cabinets in my guest house. This was my second project with Express Reface in two years. I had them do the kitchen in my house a couple of years ago. I am impressed with the customer service, quality, and speed in which they are able to do their magic. I have more projects and will definitely be using them again in the near future. read more

You spend a lot of money to replace the doors of cabinets and drawers, but the overall quality of the product is poor. The handles came off one of our doors after a year and even though I rescrew it back on, it just comes off again. Now, other handles are coming off. When you spend over $12,500 you want a product that will last. I should have said something back when it was being installed, but I think the installer brought his son and had him installing the doors and handles while he was doing something else. I assumed they were both workers, but I had a feeling the younger person was not, but I didn't want to assume. I wished I said something then. read more

Pros: Quality doors, drawers, handles, guides, etc., Quick timeline, Pricing reasonable, Protected floors/walls during install. Cons: Response times from sales and providing a more detailed quote can be improved. Not deal-breaker, just an area of improvement. I recommend. read more

Express Reface did a suburb job on our kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops. The entire job was completed in four days as promised. Their pricing was much more competitive than other companies we contacted for the same service. The entire crew from Express Reface, demolition, painting and installation were efficient and professional. The crew from Marble Palace were also very professional and meticulous when installing the new countertops. There was a slight communication error with the counter backsplash size but Leo from Marble Palace immediately resolved the issue to the customers satisfaction. I highly recommend Express Reface for their professionalism, value and timely devotion to the project to get the job done quickly. read more

As a senior citizen I really resent when contractors attempt to take advantage of me and that is exactly what happened with Express Reface. I had a sales rep come to my house and prepare a quote for a kitchen and bathroom reface and everything went well until I received a "contract" to sign before the project could begin. The first problem with the "contract" was in the fine print where it said the owner is responsible for refrigerator removal and dishwasher removal. This was quite a surprise since the express reface webpage specifically states that "there is no need to disconnect or remove appliances". When I pointed this out I was told that the workers would move the refrigerators and dishwasher but I had to "put a hand on those appliances so that it is understood that you "move" them". What kind of nonsense is that? The second problem was the contract states that "it does not cover paint and texture of existing dry wall, where old product was removed." The contract also says that they are not liable for for damage(s) arising from Contractor's work or the delivery of Project materials." So they can just tear up the house and walk away. Not their problem. But the major problem was with their payment schedule. They wanted me to pay 90% of the cost of the project for measuring and delivering materials, but before they do any install work in the home. Much of the work described is not clearly defined or verifiable. California law requires progress payments to be tied to specific, completed work. So with their contract I would have to pay 90% up front and then they could walk or do shoddy work and I would have no recourse since they have my money. Shame on "Express Reface" for trying to take advantage of me with such an unfair contract. read more

I had a great experience with Express Reface. I loved how fast everything went and love my new kitchen!

Hands down the best price you'll find for an amazing price. Everyone from the company was extremely professional and helpful. They completely transformed my kitchen cabinets, laundry room cabinets, and bathroom vanity. They also offer cheap financing options. I'll definitely use them again for future work! If you're thinking about using their services, just pull the plug and get it done. Any negative reviews on here are from "Karen" types who I wouldn't trust. read more

Found an ad in one of the mailers I get and decided to call Express Reface. They gave me the quote quickly and were able to get started about a week after I agreed to the quote. I tried to get a quote from another company but it took so long for them to be able to come to me. My job took 2 days and a few return visits. My kitchen was remodeled in the 90s and now it looks modern and new. I'm very happy with the service and the quality. read more

The pre-sales service was excellent, but after we signed the contract, the customer service was horrible. The project manager, Xavier, wouldn't answer our calls; he only responded via text message--hours later, or sometimes not until the next day. Not to mention that one of the main reasons we signed the contract was the positive reviews and the fact that the project manager told me he would move the refrigerator in the kitchen, specifically because my wife would be home alone with our 2-year-old son. They ended up damaging the refrigerator, leaving two dents on the side. One of the team members even went so far as to say it wasn't their fault because they weren't paid to move the fridge--but again, I signed the contract *because* the project manager said he would perform that service; otherwise, I wouldn't have closed the deal. On top of that, there was a lack of communication between the various teams and the project manager, as well as a complete lack of follow-up from the project manager with us. Not to mention that they had to redo the work multiple times because they didn't do it right the first time--such as the bathroom sink, which kept leaking water (I had to call the store directly to get it fixed because the project manager wouldn't answer his phone). The hallway cabinet was left with sharp, poorly finished edges; they redid it a second time, but the edges remained just as sharp. So, we gave up on calling them to fix it. It felt as though we weren't customers who had paid the full price quoted, but rather people asking for a favor. Two neighbors came over to look at the cabinets, and we did not recommend the company to them. Furthermore, I have another project coming up for the break room at my company, which I will now be taking to a different company. I hope that Express Reface will at least honor their word regarding the 2-year warranty they provided; that is the bare minimum we expect--though, honestly, I hope we won't even need to use it. The team itself isn't bad, but the leadership is horrible. It was the worst customer service experience we have ever had--marked by a complete lack of communication and zero follow-through regarding both the project and the client. read more

I have worked with Express Reface on two properties. From start to finish both the sales and installation teams made the process very smooth. The installation team was fully prepared with all the necessary materials, and were hardworking and efficient. I was impressed with the quality of the doors, drawers and the bathroom vanities that were installed. Additionally, the soft close hinges are a very nice upgrade from the previous cabinetry. Painting all the cabinet frames and interior brightened up the kitchen and bathrooms so beautifully. The team masked off all the work areas and kept everything very neat and clean. Overall I was very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Xpress Reface to anyone. read more

I called Express Resurface regarding resurfacing my kitchen cabinets. The company is located in Sacramento. I live in Martinez (62 miles) and was surprised that they provide service to such a large area. Michele arrived 2 days after my call. She was professional and pleasant. Her overview of the product gave us great confidence. Xavier came to measure our cabinets. He did a thorough job and made the process easy. Juan and Emanuel installed our cabinets. They are very skilled, efficient and thorough. It's obvious that they've been resurfacing cabinets for a long time. They are fast (a day and a half), meticulous, and thorough. They make a great collaborative team. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. My kitchen and bathroom cabinets are perfect! All the doors and drawers are perfectly aligned, and the quality is great. The project included painting the surfaces, installing the cabinets, and providing entirely new drawers and tracks. I think that my drawers are deeper than before. What a pleasant surprise. The surface inside the drawers is beautiful. My kitchen and bathroom are beautiful. I think my kitchen looks bigger and brighter. I'm so glad that we chose Express! Resurface. The company was the quickest to respond, did an amazing job, had the best price, and payment was easy. The value of my house has definitely increased. I should have done this years ago. read more

Express Reface - After - Cabinetry Near Me - Sacramento, California

We wanted to make our 25-year-old kitchen more with current times. I contacted Express Reface and met with Xavier in our home. What a great guy. He was responsive, and very knowledgeable. When it came time to begin project, Jodi in the office was great and followed up every time with scheduling. Calvin was the lead person for my install. He is absolutely awesome. His skill level is to be commended. I just had knee surgery, so I was in the room to watch almost the entire procedure. He is so meticulous to details. When I asked him questions about how he was adjusting the cabinets, he took the time to show me how it is done. Calvin was there both days of install. Alfredo was with him on the 2nd day and was also very skilled. Xavier showed up to check on project and make sure things were done to my liking....More importantly; my wife's liking. What a great experience to have this done. If I could give Express Reface a "6" star rating, I would. Great job and thanks again. Mark read more

I have lived in my house for eight years now and have never liked the look of the kitchen. I saw a commercial for Express Reface and decided to go online to get one of their instant quotes. The price was reasonable so I decided to go forward with the next step, expecting the usual high pressure sales pitch with lots of non standard upgrades. I was contacted the next day and set up an appointment to have a designer come out to measure and go over options. I set up an appointment for someone to come out and show me what options were available. Meetra arrived on time and had plenty of samples and pictures to help me make my decision. I was super happy with the design so I decided to move forward in the process. No high pressure sales tactics or crazy hidden fees. So far so good. Xavier from their production team came out a week later and took all the measurements for the new cabinet faces and drawer fronts. Again, no crazy price increases or high pressure sales tactics. Three weeks later, the installation day was here! The team that showed up was professional, careful of my property and most importantly - fast! They were done in less than eight hours. The before and after tell the truth of how amazing the transformation can be! Thank you to everyone at Express Reface Sacramento!!! read more

Fantastic service and product. Couldn't be happier with Express Reface. We've done kitchen renovations many times and this company has been one of the easiest to deal with. I have a new baby and wanted to make sure the paint they use is low toxin. Michelle was great at answering all my questions and my back and forth with sample colors. I thought their pricing was reasonable and quality is great. My only concern is that the product is laminate would will age differently than the paint of the surround cabinet over time but they do come with 5 years warranty. I also wish they had more choice in colors, would pay extra for custom colors. The prep work was amazing! we work from home and was concern about paint fumes and dust but it was completely sealed off and best part was it only took 2 days! We are so happy we are with our new kitchen, it has made a huge difference to our mornings and evenings and we want to thank the team for all their hard work in helping make this process so smooth. We are so impressed with your craft and service, from initial consultation to installation. We will definitely return for our laundry and bathrooms cabinets. read more

We are SO HAPPY with our newly refaced cabinets from express!reface. Everyone involved - from Michelle doing the initial scoping, to Xavier scheduling/measuring, to the guys who painted and installed the new doors/drawers, it was a great experience, great timing, great price! They arrived exactly when they said they would, masked everything off so the rest of the house was not impacted, and within 2 days we had completely new cabinets! There were a couple of the soft-close drawers (an upgrade we opted for) that needed adjustment, and they came out right away to get them working perfectly as well. I would recommend express!Reface to anyone looking to refresh their cabinetry. read more

Meetra our consultant was very professional and just nice. She listened to what we wanted and made it so easy with many optionsto choose from. Xavier was the project Manger who took precise measurements and was easy to work with. If you don't need new kitchen cabinet boxes and want a job that reflects the freshness of a professional reface, you'd be hard pressed to find a better company that takes pride in delivering a job that will last for years. Express!Reface delivers on their promises, and did a fantastic job in two days! The process was about 3 weeks from start to finish; which included initial call-back (within an hour of using their website for rough quote), detailed quote in our home with Michelle, scheduling, measurements by Xavier (excellent suggestions and very accurate), and a couple of weeks to build our new cabinet doors and drawers. When their team showed up with the materials built in their shop, they masked the whole kitchen, sanded, primed, and painted the cabinets on Install Day1. Doors, drawers and hardware all installed on Day2. The kitchen really does look like a new model home. I thought they delivered a good value with great looking results. I have 30 year old solid wood cabinets so I decided to just reface instead of replace. They did a fantastic job at first but then couldn't complete the job. The sloppiness really shows. I complained about it and the guy attempted to correct the issue but he just made it worse. They said they would come back and try again but I declined. Staying inside the line while painting is not their strong point. I would still hire them for future work with the understanding that I would either have to hire a painter to correct the details or correct it myself. At the end of the day, I felt neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. I'd place their work between a 3 and 4 star, but not a solid 4. Customer service is a 5 though and hence, I errored to a 4 in my review. read more

This company is awesome! From the estimators to the installers they were all exceptional. I was unsure about refacing but in the last minute when all my counters were removed and before getting new ones installed, I decided to move forward with refacing. I called and they got me on their schedule in a few days. With pure luck, they had an opening and so it was meant to be. They came out and in 1 day sanded, painted all boxes, and installed new doors, drawers, and shelves. It looks brand new. Even my general contractor and tile guy were impressed! Can's say enough about the customer service either. Everyone was pleasant to work with. They make their own doors at a factory here in Sacramento and guarantee the product. It truly is amazing. The process begins with a sales person coming to your home to review the colors of cabinetry that they offer. Michelle was on time and very helpful with her suggestions and polite. I knew that I would go with the company based on their reasonable price and a friend that had her kitchen done as well as another family member of hers that used Express Reface several years ago and is still loving her kitchen. During this Covid situation I appreciate that through this entire process all employees showed up in masks and the installers even arrived 15 minutes early. They were efficient with their time and did a great job of repainting the body of my existing cabinet and replaced the doors and drawers with my new shaker style. The quiet close drawers and doors work well. The inside is now painted so my 24 year old cabinets look nice and clean on the inside. My bathroom cabinet was completely replaced with a new cabinet as I wanted it to be taller and it is wonderful. I almost don't have words to express how pleased we are. I have been around the trades for over 50 years and the Express Reface crew are true professionals. They arrived early, and with military precision they executed the entire kitchen in one day! They barely need to talk to each other and they remain focused on the work until they were driving away. The online pricing tool makes it very easy to ballpark your costs before you have the salesperson, Meetra for us, come to your home. Keep in mind that almost everyone will want a few upgrades so expect to add on 5 - 15% to the initial online tool quote. Once the price is locked in, don't worry about any surprise increase in costs. FANTASTIC!! When we moved into our home in March of 2017 we had the kitchen cabinets painted an antique white to brighten up the kitchen but after about 5 years the paint looked horrible. I got bids for new cabinets for close to $40,000 and our kitchen is small. I just couldn't overlook the deterioration in the paint but there was no way I was going to spend that much. I found an ad for Reface Express and their calculator which is genius because then you have a ballpark price IF you calculate every door, drawer, slide outs and faceplates. Michelle came out and correctly counted the number of drawers, doors and pullouts. I decided to get another quote from the company Costco uses exclusively for refacing and the quote was $22k-$25k. I was aghast. I quickly decided to go with Reface Express. Xavier came out to measure and answer our questions last week. Today Rolando and team came out on time and ready to work. 6 hours later the boxes or carcasses were painted and the drawers, doors and pullouts were installed with soft close, European hinges and new hardware. They even put a water proof material under the sink. The kitchen appears to have all new cabinets at more than half the price of the company Costco uses. I can't even tell you how pleased I am at their professionalism, punctuality and great work. I think their business model is fantastic. They have limited choices in cabinets and color but it worked out for my needs and I am ecstatic!!! I would encourage anyone who's looking for a facelift on any bath or kitchen cabinets to contact Reface Express. Thank you REFACE EXPRESS!! read more

The company didn't give us the opportunity to work with them. I give one star because I sent the quote request over a week ago and no reply. The others replied within 24 hours. My thought is , if no one replies to a quote request/lead for a new client, the business is either: -Already too busy and would not be able to work on my project in a timely fashion, or -Possibly flakey and there would have been problems during the project, or -Not willing to hustle and earn my business. Times have been hard for a lot of folks. I hope the failure to follow up on the Yelp lead indicates they are really busy. read more
