Javier must not need business. If he cannot simply answer the phone and provide decent service he should absolutely not be answering the phone. It's not a bad thing if your quote is higher than another locksmith. I just simply won't choose your company especially how rude you were. Doesn't mean you have to argue and explain why that locksmith is going to charge horrible labor and not disclosing the entire cost. Simply should be happy That someone is genuinely interested in his services. I haven't been able to lock my car because of the lock on the door and a remote that doesn't work. I was given Javier's number but decided to go to the Kia dealer because I thought it would be easier and possibly faster. What a mistake!! I should've called him immediately. Kia wanted to charge me $190 for just the remote! I said F that and called Javier who said he would have the remote the next day and quoted me $140 for the whole thing (remote + programing). That's what I call efficiency!! Edit: Took a bit to get the remote as Kia Rondos are not too common, but when it came, he made it a priority first thing in the morning and I had a working remote in just a few minutes. Also got a spare key made for $10. Price didn't go up, it was exactly what he told me (+$10 for the xtra key I decided to get). I will eventually call him again to fix the lock on the door, but one thing at a time. Very satisfied. I can lock my car again!! read more

I needed to replace a backup auto key that was lost. I purchased an OEM remote and key from eBay and made sure that it was an exact match. I spoke with Javier and asked him how much to laser cut a key and reprogram the remote. He quoted me a price of $225 to purchase a key/FOB from him. When he realized that I was bringing him the key and remote he seemed disinterested and was kind of rude on the phone. He then quoted a lower price and I told him I would call back to make arrangements. When I called back my calls went to voice mail. I left three messages on two different days and my calls went unanswered. Needless to say, I went with another locksmith who easily and quickly cut my new key and programmed the FOB for a lot less money. It seems like this company wants to dramatically up-sell customers on keys and take advantage of folks who are in a bind. It's understandable why some people leave good reviews, they are in a desperate situation and he provides a service, for a steep price of course but they can afford it. However, this locksmith's true character stood out when he couldn't take advantage of a customer that wasn't in an emergency. I do NOT recommend Express Mobile Locksmith, especially if you are not in an emergency. There are other more honest and courteous locksmiths in the OC that can help you out. read more

What a great experience! About two years ago, we lost a set of keys to our 2006 Ford. Procrastination set in and we never got around to replacing them. Mid-November the last set went missing, too! Went to the dealership and, guess what year Ford's records went back? 2007! Called two different places, both gave me Javier's number.
