This company is excellent. Jose came to my home and programmed a new key fob for my 2015 Lexus. When he arrived, my car battery was dead. He jumped it, but the car battery needed to be replaced. Jose offered to wait while AAA responded to change out my battery. I told him I'd reschedule and called him on a later date. When he came back he programmed a new fob for me in just 5 minutes. Jose was very professional, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend using Express Mobile Locksmith read more

Very quick service. Except that my second car got broken into the same night. Has anyone had the same coincidence??

Joes was great and on time. Bought a used car key had issues. Was quoted over the phone 225 dollars. Came out to my neighborhood, ended up being 170 for 2 keys. These guys are great, prompt and Jose was hilarious. read more

Locked out of my car. Job too 5 minutes and they charged me $215. When I called they said 40 to come out band it starts at $50. Won't recommend. Should of went to AAA instead. Avoid these liars and cheats. Edit: lmao, look at the loser owner at his response. Will not admit he rips people off. No bro I remember your terrible service. Flat rate was quoted at $54 not $200. Thanks Jose for nothing. read more

Javier was awesome. I had purchased an key fob on eBay which was not working and he was able to get it activated. Entire job took 15 mins.

Needed new keys cut for old 2008 lexus. Met Javier while he was purchasing his new truck for his business. Jose cut my keys while Javier was bargaining with the dealer. Five minutes, done with new keys. Thanks guys. read more

I got their number from a local mechanic due to the fact my key wouldn't turn my car on anymore . I actually would wiggle it for up to a 1/2 hour to get it to finally turn and start the truck . Anyway I called them they were at my vehicle within a 1/2 hour . And had new keys new ignition switch , new batteries for my key and I was off to work ..... money well spent . Thank you Javier read more

I needed a automobile key fob programmed and made a request on yelp. Express immediately got back to me. I received an exact quote and met Jose. He programmed my key fob within minutes and made a new key for same. Jose was personable and professional. What a nice clean set up they have for mobile service. Thank you and I will pass the word read more

Amazing and super fast service! I went to several key duplicating places prior to Javier's, and they all either told me they couldn't duplicate my key, or that I needed to bring the car at 9 am ( during the time when I am at work) , and leave it for two or three hours. I am so glad I found Javier's Express mobile, as I could schedule an appointment with him when it was convenient for me! And it took him only about 10 minutes to give me a duplicate remote control key for my car! His price was cheaper than the other places too!! read more

Jose is a great tech who made me a replacement key in minutes flat for $150. Honda wanted $125 +$110 for the same key plus I had to make an appointment and drop the car off for the day. I met Jose at a Carl's Jr. parking lot and got my car key plus two house keys( that he gave me for free) and was on my way in under 30 minutes. The only good thing about being a certified idiot for losing my keys in the first place was finding Mobile Express Key. Thank you Marc from Tonys Automotive. Shame on you Norm Reeves Honda ! read more

Great family run business. I needed a new key cut and programmed for my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I received a quote via Yelp in less than 10 minutes and the price beat the 3 other locksmith's I had called significantly. Javier agreed to meet me in a public parking lot and from start to finish, I was on my way within 10 minutes. Excellent response time, excellent price, and excellent service. I will absolutely use them again as soon as I need any locksmith service. read more

EML came to our home on short notice, explained our options, worked efficiently, and at a fair price. Great job!

My ignition didn't turn so I called Express mobile and they made it easy with good communication and timing. Jose our technician did a great job and was very friendly. I definitely recommend this service to those who need a mobile auto locksmith. I called several companies before them and they didn't answer. Express Mobile picked up the phone right away and scheduled an appointment first thing the next morning for me. I needed to get a spare car key programmed for my dad. Not only was their quote much lower than the dealership, they come to you! Jose was on time, very friendly and it took less than 5min. It could not have been easier! read more

Javier was fantastic! I needed a mobile locksmith to make copies of my car keys, so I called Express Mobile Locksmith based on the positive Yelp reviews. Javier was responsive, pleasant, and reasonably priced. He arrived at my home within 2 hours of calling him, and was done in 30 minutes. He was very professional and I will definitely call him again with locksmith needs. read more

I've used this company twice now for a new car key and couldn't be happier with the punctuality and professionalism. There are some shady companies in the area so this is anyone's best bet for several reasons. They beat any other quote I got from other locksmiths by over $100 and they have been in this business since 1998. Thank you Javier, you earned a loyal customer and referral source for life with your back to back flawless service! read more

Gave me a quote over the Yelp app. Showed up a bit early did what they said and knew what they we're doing. No upcharges or funny stuff. They did what they said and are super nice guys. Will def use them again when I need them. read more

Long story short, I'm an idiot and lost my car keys, don't have anyway to get into our move my car. Here comes Express Mobile Locksmith to the rescue! :) Javier quoted me a flat price over the phone (including service), which some other shady locksmith wouldn't do, only giving a lower limit on how much the work would be (seriously, wth? That's just a setup to rip off their customers...) I initially had an appointment with one of those OTHER guys but canceled when they refused to give me a flat price like Javier did (all fees included). They called me back, trying to get my business but weren't able to match Javier's price. Javier was very quick to respond and since he's a local Lake Forest business, he was able to come over right away. His work was quick (only about 30 minutes to unlock my car, make me a remote entry and Valet key.) Thanks for having very reasonable prices and being transparent with your pricing, I'll definitely be calling you again for my locksmith needs! read more

Jose gave me such great customer service! I was in a panic because I had opened my car and then put some bags in my trunk (one being my key FOB ) and I was in a bit of a panic because I couldn't get them out. Jose helped me figure out where my trunk release button was over the phone with me the whole time. He was with me every step of the way! I am so grateful for his patience with me :) read more

$110 "Travel Fee" to Newport Beach. Javier was nice on the phone but I could not use him as he was too expensive and wanted to charge a $110 fee to drive to Newport from Lake Forest. Oh well.... read more

I have a really old car from 1990 that was giving me a ton of trouble for about a week. Using my key to unlock the door was easy. No problems there. However, starting up the car was impossible. Every single time I'd attempt to start the engine, the key would go into the ignition but it couldnt turn. It was completely stuck! I tried this for about a week because this has happened before and usually, I was able to make it work. This time though, my car wasn't going anywhere....and neither was I. Good thing it was on my driveway and not somewhere else. I contacted several businesses in my area because I didn't already have a "go-to" auto place for my car. One of the places I contacted recommended Javier and said he was reliable, affordable, and overall just does a great job. I decided to give Javier a call around 10am the next day. He picked up and I explained my situation. We arranged a time and he said he'd come straight to my house and fix my car. Then we hung up.... without either of us realizing that he doesn't know where I live. This threw me off a little because, it's one thing for me to forget. It's another thing for the guy who's trying to get your money to forget... I should've remembered too but, it just seemed a little unprofessional on his part. So I called him right back. He didn't pick up. I waited a little bit and then called him again. This time he picked up and requested that I send my address through a text. When the appointment time came around I decided to wait right on my driveway just so it'd be easier to find my location. Our appointment time was between 12pm and 1pm. He said it'd be closer to 1pm because he had appointments. He didn't get here until 1:30pm. I had to call him up to verify that he was actually coming. To be honest, I had my doubts. I wasnt sure what to expect especially after him being late and coming across to me as a little bit unprofessional over the phone. There was even a review that mentioned that he didnt show up for appointments! I was paranoid that perhaps he had forgotten and that he wouldnt be showing up. When I checked with him he explained that he was running late due to a prior appointment but that he'd be there in 20 minutes...And sure enough, he was there in 20 minutes. I am so happy to say that when he finally got here he was all business! This guy knows what he's doing. The second he got here, I could tell this guy is experienced. I watched him work on my car and honestly, it felt like he could do this in his sleep! He finished the job in under an hour which was great because we needed to be somewhere at 3pm. Basically, my keys were worn out, so he made two brand new ones for me. And he mentioned a tumbler thing that was also causing problems. Not sure what that is but I'm guessing it was something inside of the lock cylinder of my car? Either way, he fixed it and made sure my car could start easy peasy. Then he even made sure to give me a little pointer if I ever ran into my wheel locking on me. Overall, my experience with Javier was really good. Even though I had my doubts in the beginning, this guy showed me I shouldn't have worried. I know now I can trust this guy to get it done, and get it done well. His prices are affordable too which is wonderful when you're on a tight budget like me. I applaud you Javier. Thank you so much for taking care of me and my car. I will definitely be returning to you if I ever have problems! read more

I scheduled an appointment with Javier to make a additional key fob for my vehicle, we agreed on a 2 hour window, arrived on time, he didn't have my exact remote and asked if he could come back tomorrow same 2 hour window, no problem. I called him close the end of the 2 hour window as I had a dr appt to get to and he said, sorry, we are busy, and gave me another 2 hour window same day in the afternoon, I said ok. No show to that appointment. I had to reach out the following week to ask If he was still interested in my business as I still needed another key fob, his prices are much more reasonable than the dealership. He apologized and sent Jose that afternoon and my key was made in 30 minutes. Jose was very polite and efficient. 3 stars is due to the communication problems, other than that, I would recommend. read more

Lost my set of car keys (yet to be determined) whilst cleaning the car and drinking some cold beve-s on a Friday afternoon. Sat couldn't find them, spent hours looking. Sunday, nothing. Monday I spoke to the Subaru dealer; said I'd have to tow the car in (70 bucks + AAA membership) and THEN pay 135 or more to have it serviced, likely over 2-4 hours waiting.... Monday night my wife says have you checked 3rd party locksmiths? Tue afternoon I call Javiar and the guy says we can be our first thing tomorrow. Realizing the keys are buried and I'm just gonna have to fork out, give Express Mobile locksmith the duty. The guy was 1/2 done by the time I walked out and with the exception of the security light that will continue to flash, the car is operable again. Thanks guys for being prompt, having a clean and tidy vehicle (workspace on wheels) and getting my wheels good again. read more

Javier was amazing! I lost my keys to my honda mid move and he came out the same day and made me a brand new fob + key ! The dealership said there was only 2 locations in California for the key and I would need to have it towed but Javier literally saved the day 5/5 stars! read more

I needed to replace the spare key fob for my Prius. I called the Toyota dealer and they quoted me just over $600 to make a duplicate. Express Mobile Locksmith made the duplicate for 1/3 the cost and did it in about 15 minutes, including copying the small emergency key. The smith was courteous and friendly. He even gave me pointers on how to start the car when the battery is dead. read more

Javier was recommended to me by the auto shop that I go to. He was on time, pleasant, competent, and thorough. He replaced my ignition switch where my immovable van was parked at the mall (no towing involved Yay!). Javier is fantastic. He answered on a saturday when some other companies didnt get back to me or didnt have the items in stock. He has fair prices and is responsive. My sons car was stolen and they took took the keys. Javier came out to remake the keys. But we couldn't get the car to start. Come to find out when the person stole the car the pulled apart some of the wires. I was at a loss on what to do. Javier knew we had come all the way from Los Angeles and helped my son figure out what the problem was. He had other jobs but put them off so he could help us. He took a lot of extra time there helping us. I could never thank him enough for his help. I had already gone back and forth from LA to Orange County 4 times in the last couple of days trying to get this darn car fixed. I honestly don't know how we would have got the car back with out his help. read more
