Wayne's Auto Service Rocks!…read more I've gotta say this is the only honest mechanic I know (save my Uncle). Wayne is Scott's dad & Scott does most of the work these days. Both are super nice and always willing to listen to you car concerns and take a look for you. I feel lately like I'm living at Wayne's Auto (between my car & my boyfriend's car). When the mechanic down the street who did my oil change told me I needed a new radiator STAT, I took my car to Wayne's. Scott said, I did all these checks & don't see anything wrong with your car. (Thanks for saving me $700!) Then I found a leak coming out of my car and they said, bring it in, we'll look at it for you. My boyfriend needed a new clutch system, Wayne's said sure, go ahead and purchase the part, we'll just charge you for labor. Saved him a good $500 +! When he thought maybe there was a problem after the new clutch was put in, Scott looked at it again....Free of charge! I don't know many places that would take such care and time with their customers. If you need work done, take your vehicle to Wayne's!

I wish I could give them 10 Stars! M & S AUTO REPAIR IS…read moreAWESOME! Auto Repair INC. on Smith, by the Veterinarian, should be boycotted!! They were awful to my neighbor and friend Sharon. They were going to rip off a single mother of 3. 700.00 to replace a hose? Oh, that's because the hoses come in packs of 2, even though Sharon needed 1 hose replaced, they were going to charge her for an extra part, that they were not going to use on her car. I know parts are expensive, but that's ridiculous. She told them that was too much and called around and M & S Auto's estimate was for 260.00. They recognized the dire need of a working Mom. They had compassion for her situation and helped her. They fixed her car in 20 minutes, instead of the Tuesday, originally stated. She had her car towed to Auto Repair Inc.1st. They did a diagnostic test on her car. They charged her 70.00 for that, and gave her the 700.00 estimate. When she wisely declined, she tried to pay the bill with her credit card over the phone. They refused to take payment over the phone, and refused to release her car to the towing company. She was sick, with 3 kids, I gave her a ride to the shop to pay in person. They made her wait around the desk, while the workers stood around, taking another customers info over the phone. One guy told her to quit asking questions. What type of men take advantage of a woman, who is obviously sick and struggling. Speak to her in a way that she comes out sobbing, at her wits end. SHAME ON YOU AUTO REPAIR INC. KARMAS GONNA GET YOU. THANK YOU M & S AUTO, not only for fixing her car quickly and at a reasonable price. But for showing compassion to a young family in need. Your great business practices will be passed on with recommendations from us!! Thank you so much!!

I am in disbelief how fast and accurate they got the job done. I won't be going back to Mercedes for maintenance. I am now a loyal customer of Mag Motors. It kept coming on and my wife drove van to dealer. It had an oil leak and other problems which most of was covered with warrenty. They said the alternator was good but battery was bad and wanted well over $500 to replace it. It was a 5 month old battery and would not be covered by extended Mopar lifetime warrenty we bought with vehicle. Took battery back to Autozone where purchased. He said it was good and recharged it and I put battery back in the van at dealership. While driving home car died and had it towed to my mechanic. He said battery was good but alternator was bad! He fixed the car in one day!!! We also had an extremely bad experience with Ganley previously with the same car originally purchashed at Ganley. It took 3 months for Ganley to fix 2 problems! I could go into much greater detail about our experiences with dealers. The takeaway is don't buy extended warrenties and don't service your vehicle at a dealership unless it is under a new car warrenty that comes with the vehicle!

I found favorable ratings on-line for The Brake Shop. I arrived, they put the car on the rack, removed all wheels for inspection, and contrary to the previous diagnosis, found that only the brake pads on the l-r wheel wouldn't retract due to rust. The pads were munched--and only on that one wheel. Dan started to explain the parts, the symptoms, and so on until I told him I'm familiar with brakes and have changed quite a few. I was pleasantly surprised when he suggested it's something that I could do since I now knew the problem and how to correct it. (I was surprised since I, a former mechanic who had his own business, told my customers they could save money by doing the repairs themselves too--if I thought they were capable of it.) I merely told Dan that I'm out of the business and would rather pay to have it done. To sum up, the pads on the other three wheels were like new, no scoring/cuts in the discs/rotors. No other work was needed to be done except on that one wheel (unlike my original estimate). When all was finished, my bill was way, way less than Conrad's I just dumped. I drove away (with warranty) knowing that there's good reason The Brake Shop has been in business for almost 30 years. Dan and Diana didn't treat me as an expendable, hurried commodity. The Brake Shop just earned a new customer because of their goodwill and integrity. Definitely, I give The Brake Shop a five star rating.

I had something loose on my car recently and after googling, I found that it wasn't the engine. It was most likely some part of the exhaust that had come loose. Well, I was kind of right. They had to replace some screws and I was good to go for $48. I'm OK with that, but I'm just not sure why it took most of the day. I think they're just super-busy because they're good, but still. They also took almost an entire day to run a diagnostic test of my boyfriend's car. They recently helped him with what he had thought was the problem with his car, but actually wasn't. So he had to take it back and they found the actual problem--which was another $280 to fix. This was after the other thing was around the same amount to fix. I just wish they would have caught it the first time around instead of charging my boyfriend for something that wasn't even really the issue. But overall, they provide a great service and they have two Volvo specialists, which is helpful. They also have a killer refferal program which gets you and your referral $30 off a service or a free oil change. They're also offering a discounted brake repair service in OCT to support breast cancer research. I would definitely go back, but make sure you ask them for what you really want and don't assume what you think is wrong is the actual problem. Let them research it and find the issue.
