My daily travels bring me by this location twice a day, five days a week, so it's very convenient…read morefor me to stop - whether I need gas, coffee, or a convenience-store snack. Most importantly, to me, the employees are always friendly and helpful. Management has more than once gone out of their way to accommodate me with some special requests, and even new employees have greeted me with a smile and friendly banter. If you can't find something you're looking for, don't be afraid to ask - some cold items, for example, are behind cooler doors, and one of the employees will be happy to help you look. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, this is the place! ExpressMart Palmyra offers a dozen different flavors/strengths of coffee, hot chocolate, flavored "steamers," and a fully stocked bar of fixin's for your caffeine fix including flavored creamers and sweeteners of every variety. While you're finding the perfect mix, you can catch up with the day's news on a shiny flat-screen TV mounted just behind the coffee bar. The inside of the store is small, and thus slightly cramped, but the shelves are neat and well-stocked. As with most convenience stores, you won't find many choices of any one given item, but you will be impressed with the variety of items available - from kitchen staples to condiments to health and beauty to automotive - if you need it, you may well find it here! (The only thing I've noticed missing is a frozen-food section, but I suspect a full-size freezer was sacrificed by necessity to limited floor-space.) Another little gem you may discover is the reduced bread/snack area just inside the front door - I've come to count on the $1 day-old bread! The pump area is easily accessible, and there is ample parking for convenience store customers on both sides of the building, as well as behind it. I've had occasion to stop at all the gas stations in Palmyra at some point in the recent past, and for overall service and bang for your buck - this one takes first prize in my book!

When "okay" is decent…read more Crosby's took over Arrow Mart awhile ago and made some changes. They installed new pumps and rearranged the store a bit. Okay is when a business might not be the most comprehensive nor best managerially but still worth patronizing. This fueling/convenience store happens to be situated on the favorable corner of a major intersection. Their building, and pumps are situated such that you can fuel out of the major prevailing winds during the winter. And the pumps are under a canopy. Fairly easy in&out. Easier than 7-11 on opposite corner. McDonald's next door. CVS across the road on other corner. Strip mall on the 4th other corner with Fingerlakes Coffee Roasters, AutoZone, pizza shop, Chinese take out, liquor store. Aldi is close by. Gas prices are competitive for the location. Food & beverage prices are what you expect. Crosby's also operates the adjoining Subway store so, at times, the clerk will be assisting them or stocking. It's a lean operation. Crosby's also did away with selling coffee but there's an excellent coffee house across the road. They're stringent with "ID'ing" including lottery tickets so be prepared to offer your ID. Also they sometimes tend to only accept NY State ID's which can be a nusiance for tourists or out-of-state visitors. The employees have always been pleasant and helpful which is a plus. [ I rarely give out 5-stars because, well, that takes incredible achievement.] This Crosby's gets 3.5 stars.

Went into Byrne Dairy to get gas, but decided to grab a sandwich while I was there. Big mistake…read more i stood at the counter with two employees behind the sandwich counter, who not once acknowledged that I was there. I waited 5 minutes and then went to the register. I told the cashier I had been waiting five minutes and no one even acknowledge that I was there. With an attitude her response was he's training and making a sandwich. (the sandwich must have been a to go order because no one else was waiting in line). So you can't just lift your head for a second and acknowledge a customer. This wasn't the first time I received this type of service here, but it will be my last at this store. Today was the last day this store will ever get my business including even purchasing gas. Totally disgusted with the type of work ethic these employees have. Must be an awful place to work if everyone is so rude and disrespectful.

Rather than pre-packaged sandwiches prepared somewhere, then shrink-wrapped and shipped in, here they make your sandwich right before your very eyes. One more interesting things about the deli - half sandwiches are on the menu. With my minimal appetite, that sounded like a good idea. Well, I couldn't finish a HALF sandwich! Yes, the portions are that large. I'm from Wisconsin. We take our dairy very seriously so of course, at a place with dairy in the name, I expected something pretty good. I found it, too. Kwik Trip, my favorite chocolate milk, your title of best chocolate milk is in jeopardy with the great chocolate milk from Pittsford Dairy. Pittsford Dairy, you better be aware of Byrne Dairy because their chocolate milk is also something remarkable. I'm not picking a winner here, but I will tell you that all three are better than anything I've found in a grocery store. (New Yorkers, Kwik Trip is a mid-west chain based in Wisconsin.) I like this store! Now, I probably won't get back to Newark anytime soon, but it appears Byrne Dairy is an up and coming chain that reminds me of Kwik Trip back home. There doesn't seem to be a store near my current location, but I will be watching for Byrne Dairy in my travels around Western New York.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet, considering I'm in here all the time. Overall I'd…read morehave to say it's one of the cleanest places I've ever been to, restrooms are usually very nice looking, the staff seems to keep up on making sure the store itself is presentable. Everyone is friendly and more than happy to help with random questions. I did however only give it three stars which I'm thinking maybe four stars, only ding them one star for what I'm about to say but it's one of my pet peeves, one of the things that really bugs the crap out of me, so I took away two stars.. I drive a lot as most people do that come to a truck stop and when fueling up I like to wash the window. This place has really good window washer fluid by the gas pumps it actually suds up a little bit when washing your window. The squeegees are always brand new looking and have really long handles, and the washer fluid itself is in a big 5 gallon bucket so they typically are never empty. (Unlike Speedway gas stations where they are always empty).. But anyway for the past 2 or 3 weeks, I've noticed that the washer fluid out by the pumps is getting a little slushy. It really shouldn't do this if it's mixed properly and with the amount of grime on the window even being slushy it still worked but I could see the problem developing. Sure enough I go in there this morning and all of them are frozen solid. I did ask a couple times over the past couple weeks to random employees about it and I got a shoulder shrug from one and another one a few days later said that it's awfully cold out. This of course was my point but my interpretation was they didn't feel like going outside to do anything about it because it's awfully cold out. I know a lot of you are probably thinking I'm making a big deal out of this but it's my personal preference. I'll pay an extra $0.20 a gallon for the gas if I can wash my windows.
