The Dandy is a godsend for this area. They are convenient store XL. Their location is perfect! Their parking lot is huge, and they even have a place for RV's and Trucks to pump gas. It can be busy, but never waiting for a pump. They also have an easy order fast food, for this area that's a big deal. Run in for milk, beer, snacks, whatever. They will have it. Employees always nice and work hard. The place is clean, bathrooms always clean. read more

The food is good that's why I gave it 1 star but the customer service there is awful. The girls that were behind the counter were so rude. I really do not want to give them any stars, we should have a minus stars. First let me tell you it does not do good to complain to the manager of the store. Shane Mosher is the day manager. when I complained I got a "yeah!!!" when I asked what he was going to do about it he said "what should I do?". I told him at the very least he should apologize. He did not do that even. Now let me tell you my story. At the time I was ordering 6 whole subs and chips and soda. Every Friday we did this. I ordered a turkey sub and asked to have bacon put on to resemble a turkey club. My sub came with no turkey two pieces of bacon...Now when I picked it up there was hardly any one there and we had two of the employees making out by the bathroom. The person who was supposed to be at the register was out side sitting on a bench and smoking and cursing to some one else. do not know if the other person was supposed to be an employee or a friend of the employee who was doing the cashing. back up to we picked up our order and went home to eat and my sub had no turkey and two pieces of bacon. plus the added pleasure of a bone of some kind that I did not know was their and cut my gum. When I called to complain to the night manager I got "well I did not make your sub". If someone would have apologized it probably would have been over and done with. when I asked her what she was going to do about it she said "I dont know I did not make the sub." I asked for the manager on duty she said it was her.I said fine and called the day manager which said the same thing. and by the way they were cursing it is reprehensible. What ever happened to you, you should still show respect to the customer. but I am a little older maybe that has changed the customer is know longer right and swearing at them is ok. I did not get Irate or curse at them. I was polite. I told Shane all I wanted was an apology but with the treatment I got, I should get a whole knew order or the money back. both of which was denied. But to let you know I filed a complaint on the corporate website and no one even bother to follow up at all. So we stopped spending the money their for six whole subs chips and soda and the little extra every friday night. We also do not get our gas their anymore. Since we got no appology or even decent treatment we stopped going their for anything so they lost close to four hundred dollars a month. We use this story, and a few smaller stories as to why we would never give a good reference for this store if and when anyone ever asks. Today I had to get to my son some tylenol as he was sick or we would not have done it. There were two girls in uniform sitting just out side the door smoking gabbing and swearing. How unprofessional on top of that the lady who cashed me was rude she did not smile and she did not say have a nice day. This store is not professional and this store does not care about the customer but worse the corporate office does not care cause they never even made an inquiry about the rudeness and the bad service we got. read more

The subs here are dinga diddly dubb-a-licious! This Dandy-tastic mini mart is in an old barn-like building that lays on the rustic charm. They slapped sandwiches together for us with sass and smiles, and they stayed open a bit after close to do it. The mustachioed, stripey shirted dandy fellow on the sign makes me feel happy and ensures that I will find value and low-price deals within his shop. The help is good looking, too.
