It's called the "Smiley Special" but let's be fr it's a halal platter. The perfectly seasoned cumin rice with the fragrant spice pods. The juicy grilled chicken that allowed me to forgive them for not having lamb (I usually prefer combo halal platter). Chef kiss Also it's only ~$10. In a world where Halal platters are becoming $15+ this is a hidden gem. They have other hot prepared food too but Smiley Special is where it's at!!! Also get a tall can of Labatt Ice to drink with it

Can't believe I have not reviewed this Walmart location before. For years, this has been my go-to…read moreduring my annual trip to Watkins Glen. Walmart is known for being a one-stop-shop store, but this one stands out from the other locations for me because of the following: 1. Despite it's distance from a major city center, the are never out of stock 2. The vegetables and fruits are always fresh 3. The proximity to the Watkins Glen racetrack - Walmart locations are usually not a five minute drive to large entertainment venues 4. The friendliest, most helpful, most available Walmart staff ever! Don't know if it's the excitement of the Nascar weekend, but there is always staff on hand who are ready and able to assist. Never had to "go looking" for anyone. Year after year, groceries for the meat eaters, the vegans, the vegetarians, and everyone in between was never an issue. Forgot pillows, towels, need extra blow up beds, slippers, a toothbrush, whatever the need Walmart has us covered. See you next year!!

I told the employee who was monitoring the area and she got Roxanne, the floor manager of the day. Roxanne said that this was my problem and I'd have to call Walmart Tech Support. What the hell? My problem. Then she told me that I had not paid for the $35 bag of dog food and to pay again, which I did. I got to my truck and called my credit card company. They confirmed that I had paid twice. I went back in the store with the credit card agent on the phone. I found Roxanne and told her she could speak with them to confirm that I had paid twice. She declined and took off running across the store, back to the service desk. I followed her and told her that I would dispute the charges. She then said that she'd give my $35 back via a refund. When I called to speak with the manager to report what had happened Roxanne got on the line and pretended to be her own manager. What?! I hung up on her and called again. This time I got someone above Roxanne who said that she would be pulled into an office for a retraining meeting today. The manager was apologetic and seemed aghast by what i relayed to him. I have shopped at this store in Watkins Glen for 15 years and have never had a problem. This was bad. This Roxanne person needs to be retrained or fired. All of this was unnecessary. That's what I get for telling an employee that their machine wasn't working and was sending electronic receipts to the worng customer. Leaves a bad taste in one's mouth!!

Today , the price was under 3$ a pound. Within 10 cents of the family pack price at a regular grocery store. I was very worried the quality would not be the same. It seems the same to me. Unusual to find such large chicken breast that cook so tender. You usually need a young and therefor small bird for that experience. If you like Steaks, I like the taste of theirs.
