Went to get my oil changed here last month as it was close to my house. I got full synthetic oil and paid about $100. They tried to sell me the usual filters and flushing etc. I started having some trouble with my car shortly after and the engine light came on so I took it to my mechanic. He ran some diagnostics and when checking my oil he called to tell me how dirty and bad it looked. I told him I had just changed it recently. My mechanic changed my oil AGAIN and engine light went off and drives great again! Not sure what kind of oil this place put in my car but not happy I paid again for an oil change!! read more

I normally hate coming to these type of places because the workers are always super pushy and try to sell you unnecessary services, but today at Express Lube I had a complete opposite experience. One visit made me a customer for life! The prices quoted and charged are surprisingly cheap for the service they give. The staff were professional, warm, and personable in addition to sincere and respectful. Every question I asked, even those obvious in hindsight, was met with an answer both non judgmental and as an opportunity to teach an inquiring customer, in very much appreciated layman's terms. As I sat in the waiting room, an older gentleman customer mentioned how great these guys, noting he's been going there for 9 years. I thanked him for sharing that because it confirmed my gut feeling that this place and these workers were honest. My car ended up having dangerous radiator problems and I felt strongly that they were genuine and not just looking to scam and take advantage of someone unfamiliar with mechanics. Awful!! The guy lied to me and said my car could only have the full synthetic oil which is 89 bucks. He said if I went with anything else I would have to sign a waiver that I understand it would void the warranty on my car and that it wouldn't be there fault. Meanwhile I was on the phone with Nissan dealership and they said my car could have regular conventional oil which was stated in the owners manual. This place only wants your money, he could care less about anything else. Do not go here!! They are liars. read more

I've been to this place twice now. The service is fast, and I've never even had to wait in line. The staff is always very courteous, and go out of their way to explain anything that I don't understand -which is pretty much anything having to do with cars. I'm a fan of this place. I've been here three times and all three times they have taken 10-15 minutes max. I love how kind, quick, and efficient they are. Their waiting room is air conditioned and is clean, which is a plus. They checked the air on my tires, changed my oil, filled the fluids that needed to be filled, and I'm super satisfied. A little pricey, but nothing I'm upset about paying for. To me the fast time, and good service is worth the extra $5-$10. read more

I have been a loyal customer there since 2012 and the crew always does a great job. I have three toyota vehicles over 100k miles each. I go in every time my vehicles are due for service and each every time Richard or Joe specifically take really good care of me. It is always best to bring your vehicle on or before the actual service date to maximize your vehicle's potential. They make service recommendations when necessary and are very trustworthy. My cars have not had any major breakdowns or services so far under their watchful hands. They will always make a suggestion to where you can bring your vehicle if the service is beyond their scope. Being a father of two young kids and a very busy nurse that drives before the sun rises and comes home late at night, I depend on my vehicles running smoothly and safely. Life is a lot easier with good maintained cars. They always urge patrons that preventative maintenance of your vehicle is better, safer, and a lot more cost effective. Imagine if your car or truck breaks down in the most inconvenient time or place, or in a very unsafe area. The cost of towing, diagnostics, and repair would be a lot more than just preventing a break down. A full inspection of your vehicle includes tire pressure, fluid levels, window cleaning, and making sure all of your headlights and break lights properly work. They always smile and say hello, good morning, or afternoon. Sometimes when I'm scheduled to drive out of town, for leisure or business, I bring my vehicle in for a quick check just to make sure it is safe to travel long distances. They are always happy to do a "quickie." To my satisfaction, the in-between services check is always complimentary and gives me the peace of mind that my family and I will be safe in a vehicle that is prevented from breaking down. Now I know that you cannot prevent all the unthinkable things that may happen while driving long distances or doing just errands, but I am happy to know that my cars are reliable for my family's safety under their courteous and thorough service. read more

Took my car in to have the rear differential fluid changed. Called ahead to confirmed and they said they had the fluid and could do it on my make and model. Went in on a Saturday morning and confirmed they could do the differential fluid and an oil change. They said yes. Had my 3 month year old with me so I dropped the car off and then went for a walk on the trail. Had to make sure they could get it all done so I could knock it all out while the baby was sleeping. They said it would take 45 minutes. As I walked away they up sold me on a premium high mileage oil. I said ok for the convenience factor and the car is in great shape but it does have 82k miles on it and even though I don't know if it makes much of a difference. On my walk I received two phone calls. First one saying air filters are dirty would you like those changed. Cabin and engine filter. It's been a dusty summer and I knew they were up selling me again but I tole a minute and contemplated it and agreed. Again convenience factor. Received a second call about 20 minutes later asking if I wanted the front differential fluid changed I declined Since I had that done 6months ago. He said ok and hung up. As I walked back and went into pay and they told me 120 bucks and I thought that was fair... Also thought it was cheaper than I expected. I questioned it as I was paying and this point my baby was starting to get fussy. He said oh we didn't have the fluid for the rear differential fluid. But it's 120 for the oil change and filters. I was beyond livid. I said how can you call me 2 and chase after me to upsell me on crap that I don't necessarily need and the one thing I came in for you didn't even do. No I have to run across town to somewhere that does when I could've done that somewhere else and to top it off I'm paying 120 for an oil change and air filter replacements. Bs. How do you not call me to tell me to come back because you don't have the rear differential fluid. Or don't mention to tell me that on your other calls. 2 of the guys played dumb and acted like they didn't know what was going on. 1 kid came up and said there's nothing we can do we didn't know don't get mad. The only respectable thing that happened was the guy who called me said that's on me I didn't know we didn't have it. No managers came up to help or try to come up with a remedy. Please do yourself a favor and bypass this place. I feel especially bad for all the ladies that were there that I overheard them doing the same thing to and they weren't sure of what they were even getting offered. These guys should go work at Wells Fargo. Cheat lie and steal. read more

The gentleman that help me was rude and ended up leaving the inside my car full of dirt and debris from changing my cabin air filter. I told him I just had a car wash and pretty much told me dont wait so long next time to changemy cabin filter.Then proceeded to take my floor mat and shake it. Which was like a slap in the face. Pulled into the drive and attendant stopped by my window and rather than ask me what services I wanted asked me to leave the keys and go inside. Went inside and waited until I was brought paperwork to fill out. By that time I watched as they started already working on my vehicle. I could see someone below my car emptying my oil. I inquired about conventional oil price and was told that the industry had switched to a synthetic blend and conventional oil was no longer available. I explained that all previous oil changes for the last 78,000 miles had been done at the dealer and I had purchased conventional oil for all of them. He said they only offer synthetic. So at that point I had no choice. Then when they brought me the dip stick to show me the new oil it was filthy. I was told that the vehicle had been brought in with low oil which had resulted in residual that couldn't be removed without a flush. I have never had a problem with low oil. I wish I could have confirmed that the oil was low before hand. I asked about the flush and was told they had already put in new oil and that and if I wanted clean oil I would have to pay for a whole new oil change. I then spoke to someone that acted like the manager who reaffirmed that if I wanted clean oil I would have to purchase a whole new oil change. I asked him to split the price with me since I hadn't been offered the flush and he refused. I will never go to Express lube again!!! With the oil dirty, I have to go somewhere else and get the oil changed just to make sure it was done. read more

Very disappointed in the service here. They told me they checked all the fluid levels while I got an oil change and that I needed to get my car checked because it was running hot. I asked if they checked the coolant and they said yes so I took my car to the mechanic and he said the coolant was low. I feel like they cut corners to get the job done quick read more
