Quick service but the customer service is lacking. The guy who met me at my car was terrible. Wish I caught his name. Didn't fully explain why I should get the synthetic oil instead of regular and then just handed me a clip board and said go here. Next thing he comes in and asked why I didn't fill out the paperwork. Well you didn't tell me too. He denies that and says he did. Really? Hey not apologize and just say yes, can you fill it out. Then when they are done (yes they are fast) the main supervisor asks why I didn't put synthetic oil in....I said that I was not told I should have or explained why. Once again this lower level idiot worker says to me I explained it. I get into it with him and he just really didn't care what I was saying. Overall a really bad experience for me and I will NOT be going back because of that one guy. The other employees apologized but it would have been nice to have been offered to remove the oil they put in and change it to the correct one. Young kids these days just really don't understand how customer service and apologizing works. Sad. read more

I'm new to the Clovis/Fresno area and I needed to get an oil change on my car, I Yelped these guys and great reviews came up. When you pull up, they approach you and give you the pricing options for the different oil types and the description of each oil and the mileage you can go with it; so you feel very well informed and I really appreciated that aspect. I ended up going with a more expensive option for my oil which was about $60; but so worth it for the quality and efficiency of this place. Went to get my oil changed here last month as it was close to my house. I got full synthetic oil and paid about $100. They tried to sell me the usual filters and flushing etc. I started having some trouble with my car shortly after and the engine light came on so I took it to my mechanic. He ran some diagnostics and when checking my oil he called to tell me how dirty and bad it looked. I told him I had just changed it recently. My mechanic changed my oil AGAIN and engine light went off and drives great again! Not sure what kind of oil this place put in my car but not happy I paid again for an oil change!! read more

I normally hate coming to these type of places because the workers are always super pushy and try to sell you unnecessary services, but today at Express Lube I had a complete opposite experience. RICHARD is the best! His customer service is superb and he's extremely knowledgeable. I initially came in for a quick oil change but since I felt so comfortable with him I started to ask for more things. He actually had to turn me down and insisted my car did not need what I wanted. Awful!! The guy lied to me and said my car could only have the full synthetic oil which is 89 bucks. He said if I went with anything else I would have to sign a waiver that I understand it would void the warranty on my car and that it wouldn't be there fault. Meanwhile I was on the phone with Nissan dealership and they said my car could have regular conventional oil which was stated in the owners manual. This place only wants your money, he could care less about anything else. Do not go here!! They are liars. read more

One visit made me a customer for life! The prices quoted and charged are surprisingly cheap for the service they give. The staff were professional, warm, and personable in addition to sincere and respectful. Every question I asked, even those obvious in hindsight, was met with an answer both non judgmental and as an opportunity to teach an inquiring customer, in very much appreciated layman's terms. As I sat in the waiting room, an older gentleman customer mentioned how great these guys, noting he's been going there for 9 years. I thanked him for sharing that because it confirmed my gut feeling that this place and these workers were honest. My car ended up having dangerous radiator problems and I felt strongly that they were genuine and not just looking to scam and take advantage of someone unfamiliar with mechanics. I'm a fan of this place. I've been here three times and all three times they have taken 10-15 minutes max. I love how kind, quick, and efficient they are. Their waiting room is air conditioned and is clean, which is a plus. They checked the air on my tires, changed my oil, filled the fluids that needed to be filled, and I'm super satisfied. A little pricey, but nothing I'm upset about paying for. To me the fast time, and good service is worth the extra $5-$10. read more

I have been a loyal customer there since 2012 and the crew always does a great job. I have three toyota vehicles over 100k miles each. I go in every time my vehicles are due for service and each every time Richard or Joe specifically take really good care of me. It is always best to bring your vehicle on or before the actual service date to maximize your vehicle's potential. They make service recommendations when necessary and are very trustworthy. My cars have not had any major breakdowns or services so far under their watchful hands. They will always make a suggestion to where you can bring your vehicle if the service is beyond their scope. Being a father of two young kids and a very busy nurse that drives before the sun rises and comes home late at night, I depend on my vehicles running smoothly and safely. Life is a lot easier with good maintained cars. They always urge patrons that preventative maintenance of your vehicle is better, safer, and a lot more cost effective. Imagine if your car or truck breaks down in the most inconvenient time or place, or in a very unsafe area. The cost of towing, diagnostics, and repair would be a lot more than just preventing a break down. A full inspection of your vehicle includes tire pressure, fluid levels, window cleaning, and making sure all of your headlights and break lights properly work. They always smile and say hello, good morning, or afternoon. Sometimes when I'm scheduled to drive out of town, for leisure or business, I bring my vehicle in for a quick check just to make sure it is safe to travel long distances. They are always happy to do a "quickie." To my satisfaction, the in-between services check is always complimentary and gives me the peace of mind that my family and I will be safe in a vehicle that is prevented from breaking down. Now I know that you cannot prevent all the unthinkable things that may happen while driving long distances or doing just errands, but I am happy to know that my cars are reliable for my family's safety under their courteous and thorough service. read more
