He explained to me that most bar soaps contain sodium tallowate and sodium lardate. These ingredients are made up of beef and pork respectively. When used to lather your skin these things penetrate through your skin and into your body. Their soaps are either "vegan" or "vegetarian" since they don't contain those ingredients and are more beneficial to your skin. Their vegan soaps come packaged in a tan box while their vegetarian soaps come packaged in a white box. Soaps are all homemade and you can tell by not only feeling the bars but also smelling them. The scents vary and of course they have unscented ones as well. The soaps have whimsical names associated with them that are derivatives of books, shows, famous names, Shakespeare, and others. In addition to bath soaps, he sells facial soaps, shampoo soaps, creams, bath bombs, gift sets, and soap accessories such as a soap rest. He also has T shirts and other interesting things. They have a "buy two we donate one" program where with every purchase tallied during the month, they send half of that amount in the form of soap to various charities and domestic shelters. It's wonderful to know that my purchase is going to a great cause. I ended up purchasing 2 bath soaps and 1 facial soap. My bath soaps were Kali's conundrum - a peppermint, orange, patchouli soap, Pittsburgh Pride- a peppermint, orange soap and the facial soap was the last midnight- a tea tree, lavender, active charcoal soup. Got a soap holder and a couple of soap washcloths to go with it. I noticed he was selling cards at the checkout area. These are supplied by other vendors in addition to their artwork on the wall for sale. They are worth checking out. This location is centrally located on the lower level of the mall of Robinson just behind Starbuck's coffee. Free mall parking is available. I was very impressed with my visit and am looking forward to returning here soon!

As of the time of this review, options for foods and drinks include a Giant Eagle grocery store, a Fine Wine & Good Spirits, and about 20 restaurants (e.g., Burgatory, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Crazy Mason, Eat 'n Park, Jimmy John's, Longhorn, Storming Crab, and Yokoso). I enjoy many of the restaurants. Retail stores present a good number of options for clothing (e.g., Dick's Sporting Goods, LOFT, and Rally House), footwear (e.g., DSW and Shoe Fly), home goods (e.g., Costco, Lowe's, Michael's, Mattress Firm, and Petco), and health and beauty products (e.g., Bath & Body Works, GNC, and Ulta). Current entertainment includes AMC movie theater, Barnes & Noble bookstore, Dave & Buster's, Improv comedy club, Paint Monkey, and Urban Air Adventure Park. Other current businesses are a few banks, a few hotels, some cell-phone stores, a gym, and healthcare providers (e.g., dental and vision). As you can see, this shopping center has numerous options for different types of customers to eat a meal, go shopping, and be entertained. This shopping center does not contain all of my favorite stores, but I like it more than most other shopping centers in the Pittsburgh area. I even have a friend who drives two hours one-way to shop here.

It is a cool trendy place and I had fun walking around and taking it all in. I looked it up and it sits on the old U.S. Steel's Homestead Steel Works plant and there are some smokestacks and other artistic elements still visible. I grabbed a coffee at Starbucks, shopped at Ultra Beauty, Target, and at Lunch Mexican restaurant. Would recommend the area.

I'm glad to report that the great sales that I came to love the place for is still going strong. I saw plenty of Pumas, Nikes, & Adidas within the $30-$40 range and was pumped when my nephew chose a pair with a fun pattern. My love for shoes that stand out has clearly gone on to the next generation. One thing I have never liked about these stores is that the place feels entirely too cramped. They have tons and tons of displays, but the actual area to mill about and have some space to try them on is small. There were only a few other people browsing--maybe 10 total and it felt like I was always in someone's way. It seems as if they use most of the room to house shoe stock in the back. Another thing I find a little irritating is the ratio of employee to client--it's just about 1:1 ratio. Lots of bored teenage employees hovering around in your way or looking too cool for school to go and find your shoe size. Honestly, in a store this small I don't see why they felt the need to have 4-5 employees on the floor. All in all, come to this place for a good deal on a street wear shoes, but don't plan to feel comfortable whilst doing it.
