You know that feeling when you stumble into a grocery store and think, "Is this place on legal…read moresteroids?" Well, folks, Wegmans is the real-life Hulk of supermarkets, legal steroids and all! Picture this: it's not just a grocery store; it's practically a food theme park. They've got more restaurants inside than you've had hot meals, and the place is so vast it makes your average mall look like a dollhouse. I mean, they even have a designated "cheese person" who slices and dices cheese like they're starring in a deli-themed action movie. Now, here's the kicker - they have a fish section, and I'm not talking about a few lonely fillets. No, no. They've got entire, whole fish chilling on ice like they're auditioning for an ice-fishing documentary. It's like an aquatic ice kingdom in there, and I was as mesmerized as a kid in a candy store. But with fish. And ice. So, not really like a candy store at all. Here's a fun fact - my boyfriend used to be a Wegmans warrior back in Buffalo, NY. After years of grocery battle, when we finally made the trek from the Bayou to the Spotsylvania, VA location, you bet it was one of our first stops. And it did not disappoint. It's like the homecoming of a warrior returning to the village, if the village had the most epic grocery store ever. Now, about the prices, they might be a tad higher than your average grocery store, but let's be real - you're not just shopping for groceries; you're embarking on an adventure. It's about the experience, the culinary exploration, and the feeling that you've just discovered a treasure trove of foodie delights. So, if you're looking for a grocery store that's more than just a grocery store, Wegmans is your beast on legal steroids. It's a foodie fantasyland, a place of wonder, and the perfect spot for your next epic grocery quest. Suit up and dive in - you won't be disappointed! Oh, and here's a pro tip that's worth its weight in gold - Wegmans is on Instacart. So, if you find yourself in a pinch or need to impress your future in-laws (fingers crossed!), you can hop onto their site from virtually anywhere, even while jetting off in a plane, and order a gift. In less time than it takes for an in-flight movie to finish, you'll have the most humongous plant ever delivered to yours of their doorstep. It's like sending a green, leafy love letter to your loved ones. Wegmans has your back, whether you're roaming their massive aisles or shopping from the clouds!

I'm leaving this review because management should be aware of my experience at the Auto Care Center…read morewith an employee named Sean. I stood at the counter for nearly five minutes waiting to be helped while Sean was outside the door talking with other employees. During that time, he repeatedly made eye contact with me, so there was no question that he knew I was waiting. He even opened the door for another customer and checked her receipt while continuing to ignore me. It wasn't until my fiancé came back, saw that I still hadn't been helped, and asked the employees what was going on that someone finally assisted us. I understand employees can be busy, but deliberately acknowledging a customer and then continuing to ignore them is extremely rude and unprofessional. I'm not usually someone who takes the time to leave reviews like this, but the way this situation was handled was honestly unacceptable. I hope management addresses it with the Auto Care Center team.

I'm a frequent shopper here. I enjoy buying meat at their butcher shop…read more I also enjoy some of the produce. I would caution that you should wash produce carefully; but you can certainly find non-GMO stuff here. I buy Mexican pork rind, Mexican cheese, Mexican-style yogurt (which is not made with High Fructose Corn Syrup), Mexican "canned" goods like prickly-pear cactus. This is also a great place to buy locally-made corn tortillas and fresh Mexican pastries and "telera." Telera is a white bread used to make Mexican tortas. There's stuff for Central and South American cuisine as well. Seasonally, I buy turrón (nougat), which is part of our holiday traditions for people from Spain and Hispanic America.

Leaving the store yesterday, I wondered to why I shop at this store…read more The aisles are narrow and complicated by the case stacks down the middle. Yesterday a person was unloading a "u boat" blocking half of the aisle. They simply needed to step back out of the way for a few seconds so that I could get by. Nope. They stood in the way so I had to turn around, find a gap in the case stack madness in the aisle and go to the other side. Once I cleared them I went back to the other side because that's where the item I wanted was located. Next you have to carefully time your arrival so that you are not there during their break. If you arrive on break, you need to navigate the smokers on both sides of the entrance or breathe in second hand smoke. Finally the customer service is terrible. They really don't care if you found anything or not. I had an item that I got from a 'clearance' display which had two prices on it. The cashier said the lower amount was not correct (as if I carry a price gun with me when shopping) and didn't offer to find out the correct price. The store is old and not taken care of. It is off of my list of places to shop. Let's see... what nice thing can I say? The lights seemed to be working. So we had that going for us. Which is nice.

We really love Lidl quality and prices however we do have one fairly major beef with their stocking…read more- typically an ad comes out on Wed and by Wednesday evening if not sooner many of the items "on sale" at really great prices are LONG GONE! Not sure if it's restaurants coming in and buying up all their excellently priced seafood such as scallops, but if they put that 12 oz bag of scallops on sale for $4.99, you had better be there at 8:01am Wed morning. More than a few times we have gone early on a Wed and the item "did not arrive" and we got the "try back tomorrow" response. Uh, no. It's bad enough you only have one store in the Fredericksburg/Spotsy area (I don't count the one on Rt 17 in Stafford - way too far.) According to zoning records, Lidl owns a plot of land on Southpoint Drive, almost directly across from Lowes and next to the 7-11 - sitting there now for several years untouched. Yet Walmart is jam packed every day as is Aldi, their most serious competitor - but Lidl sees no need yet for a store here off exit 126? Seriously? I mean, come on, build the store - we could use it as we do not like to have to drive 20-25 mins to Plank Rd to save a few dollars. My best recommendation is to not rely on their sales - countless times they have run out on day one - there is simply no excuse for this - disappointing customers is just so unwise. You have nice easy to navigate stores with good quality products but if they are not in stock when one gets there, you destroy all the trust we have placed in you for your merchandise. Pick up your game Lidl - it's time to build that Southpoint store!
