They pretty much have everything I need for a quick run. I would recommend getting your produce here because I found it to be way fresher. They have a large beer/wine selection, and the regular snacks/food items you would find at any other grocery store. There is always some kind of sale/deal going on, which you can get if you sign for the MVP Food Lion store card (just a rewards card-not a credit/debit card). The blue kiosk (it looks like an ATM machine) right at the front entrance makes it really simple to sign up. It also lets you check what deals are going on at the moment. Full disclosure- I've been here during the day, at around 4pm, and what I thought would be a quick run, turned into a 20 minute wait time in line. It felt like FOREVER, especially if you have other appointments to make. However, most of the time, I just walk in, grab my groceries, and walk out. If you absolutely hate lines, I would go at 8-9pm. Whenever I go that late service is always quick because no one else is there! Bonus: they take Apply pay!!

You have to grade Food Lions to other Food Lions and for this reason, I give it 5 stars. Compared to other Food Lions, it is "great." Better stocked than most, with a suprising number options in places like the spice department. The produce department is underwhelming, but has the basics. The staff is cheerful and helpful. The dairy section is downright extensive, in case you need a choice of 50 different things to put in your AM coffee. This store is the perfect beach hybrid - filled with the items vacationers are looking for, but clearly also set up for the real life of year-round residents.
