Though new, this place is amazing. It's also 24 hours! They have great deals on produce and meat. They have some exotic fruits too! The meat selection is impressive, they even have tomahawk pork chops. There is a hot bar with wings and Asian food, and there is a salad bar with a lot of options. There is also a soup bar with at least four options. The sushi looked pretty good, though a bit pricey. The same goes for the desserts. I liked that they make pizza there, can't wait to go try it. There's a section for fresh sliced meats, coffee beans/grinds, and snacks. So far I'm impressed with this place and will be shopping here.

Dropping a star due to long lines at 11AM. Don't understand why they would only have one cashier? This is already a very expensive store. When you add a long wait time, it makes me not want to return. I did appreciate the veterans parking spot, but was actually a little reticent about using it. There are so make leftist liberal whackos out there, I'm not sure I want to invite them to key my car or worse.

I am so excited to have a Harris Teeter in southern Maryland! Like the stores in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The produce and meat is fresh, the quality of food is amazing! The customer service was overall very good! I am writing Harris Teeter bi-yearly asking for a location to be built in the La Plata or Waldorf Charles County, MD area. We have to travel either 20 miles to the Virginia or 29 miles to California, MD to shop. Other than the distance it was well worth the trip!

Stopped by to pick up some lunch meat. Not too crowded, friendly helpful staff, clean, bright, and full of choices, with short lines. Selected some bread, wings, and Prime Rib. Prime Rib was rare, not to fatty and nicely portioned. Cooked potatoes were only warm and several were chewy (like day old). I'm sure they were not. Vegetables were over cooked The price was right, Wings, just ok. Bread was fresh. The gentleman who cut the lunch meat was delightful! He asked how thick I wanted the meat sliced, slide a piece for me to evaluated for thickness and as a sample. Wonderful service!!! I will be back!

Should have been a Trader Joe's tbh. But it'll do, definitely the best grocery store around.

They have the best fish and meat selection in SOMD. Their employees are helpful and friendly. Their prices aren't terrible.

This store is open 24/7, the customer service is subpar, and they have a great selection of tropical fruits. ‍

They seem to take their time making sure the produce they put out is fresh. They do have pretty decent sales and the self checkout is easy to use. The aisles are laid out really bizarrely- the milk is stored in a random aisle and not on the outer edge of the stories like in most locations. I tried placing an online deli order through their app with a 30 pickup time window and waited, and waited, and waited for a text that my meat and cheese was ready until the end of the window. By this time I was completely done with my shopping and still nothing so I went to the deli counter to ask and they hadn't started preparing my order or even noticed that it had been placed. They tried to start on it then but then they realized they didn't even have two of the meats that I had ordered in stock, so they directed me to the already packaged meats in the deli. No thanks, if I wanted pre-packaged meat I wouldn't have tried to order fresh from them. This is the second Giant location where this has happened to me so I don't really see the point of 1) offering the service of ordering online to save time when in reality it takes longer than just waiting in line at the counter to order and 2) letting people places orders for things that aren't even in stock.

I came in here in hopes of picking up a few items I knew I wouldn't find elsewhere. With that, I also browsed. I found the items that I wanted and continued to shop for other things. I went from department to department, jumped into the clearance section, and just continued to browse to see if there was anything I might finally grab. After grabbing everything I needed and few things I wanted, it was off to the races. By that I mean entering the gauntlet that is the registers. This was the only Walmart that I had come to where the registers were sequestered from the rest of the store where everyone is funneled into. Then the associates that work this area yell to direct you where to go. Then they act as if you are an idiot using their machines. It's one thing to assume that people don't know how to use them, but it's another when there are mistakes made by the company. I had grabbed a Brita from the shelves in hardware because the price was too good to pass up. I doubled checked the shelves just to make sure that this just wasn't misplaced, there were several more in the area. I should have taken a picture of this as it came back to bite me later. I scanned the Brita last since it was the biggest item and wouldn't fit in the bag with the other items I grabbed. When I rang it up, the price was $20 more than listed on the shelf. I asked the associate nearest to me about it and at first she just brushed me off and indicated that I needed to pay that price. I told her that the price on the shelf was marked at $19.98. She questioned me as to where it was. I told her, hardware department, top shelf as you walk in the aisle with others of the same items right next to it. I told her the price was listed and this is where she basically called me an idiot. Her words, "The price tag is beneath the item, not on top of it." I looked her dead in the eye and said, "You don't say, this is especially true if the item is on the top shelf." Then she said I needed to pay full price. I then reiterated that there were more than one of the same exact item in the same spot. She kind of stood there and thought that if she stared me down I would shut up, buy the item, and leave the store. Then when I hit her with the fact that I used to work for Walmart some years ago she backed down. She then took off to the hardware department to check the item. I should have known something was up for as long as it took her to come back, and this is where I realized I should have taken a picture while I was there, but with full hands it was hard to do. She came back with a picture of the shelf, where she obviously moved the items around. The shelf was perfectly zoned with the items moved around to different locations. She felt so proud to have showed me that picture. Like a toddler thinking they won a fight. Then she told me that she could only give me 10% off, as if to placate me to get me out of the store. I told her to get it off my transaction so I could get out of there. She did, all while her coworker looked on as if to be her backup. What's even worse was after I had finished up and paid and was walking out she was at the customer service desk gloating what she just did. Horrible people equals a horrible experience. Then to do their survey is even worse. They make one attempt to contact you and never follow up.

When you usually walk in you are funneled down what is essentially their snack aisle. But at this one, you are greeted with the produce section, which I thought was more appropriate. Could also explain why a majority of the produce was picked over or completely gone. I made my way through the store and grabbed everything I needed/wanted and then some. I paid particular attention to the ALDI Finds section just to see if they would have anything extra. I know a lot of people usually just browse over the items that are for the home, but I prefer to go through the food section and pick over items that they don't usually carry. It's always fun to see what food items they don't carry and probably never will again. It's like a game, you might like it, you might not. If you do like it, too bad, you'll never see it again. Checking out was a bit of a stalled area. I did my time in the checkout line. I always somehow come out of here with just two bags, not sure how I do it, but I'm glad I don't go over that amount.
