    Pedicure with gel polish
    Valeria P.

I had called approximately 10 minutes before inquiring about the cost and length of the pedicures. I sped up and they knew I had called. I sat in a pedicure chair and the water was ready and not warm at all. When I mentioned that some water was released and hot water was added, however, it did nothing for the temperature change. Also, I had requested the $40 pedicure with gel polish and the charge was $56.10 because gel polish is, apparently, $15 and a Non-cash payment is an additional $1.10. When I called asking about cost this should have been mentioned. I don't think I will be going back.

    Best experience!

Absolutely love my nails! The service was great. The lady who did my nails was very gentle with my hands and nails. I will be coming back again!

    Sweet toes!!

Writing this not even 24 hrs after this set was done...lol you'd think my nails are a few days old…read moreby the gap in the cuticle... anyway I requested a full set on my hands and toes (I struggle with small toenails)... $55 each set. Which is pretty average for these services. They looked at me funky when I asked for acrylic toes and now I know why, they don't know how to do them. The female nail tech used the old acrylic on my big toe despite me repeatedly asking for a completely fresh set she kept saying "I add on top and file down". I replied very nicely "this acrylic on my toe is months old, can you please remove and put fresh product". She said "mmhmmm" and proceeded to do her own thing. I should have gotten out of the chair at that moment but I decided to give her a chance. Next, she wanted to leave the toes about a size 2 and I said can you pls make them shorter and showed her a pic of the natural length I desired. The owner came and stood by as I continuously asked my nail tech to file the toes shorter n shorter. She wanted to leave long claws! The owner got frustrated watching and took the nail file from her hand and began filing them down while standing and kept asking "there?" After no difference was made. Is it just me or do they still look super long?? I wanted a natural toenail look since I have hardly any toenail to just get a nice pedicure and polish. Once I finally gave in and said that was fine, he said "you don't want acrylic, you want overlay next time". In a very annoyed tone. Whatever.... I still wanted to give the hands a try since it was so difficult to find a sitter and I took an uber there (so expensive). I only had an hour left and no time to find another salon close by. Biggest mistake. Pls comment and tell me if I'm being too picky!!! I know square shaped are no longer the cutest but this is unacceptable. They're so thick and wide!!!! She then had the audacity to hover over the screen as I was paying and the tip window came out. The options were 15%, 18%, and 22% (ranging from $20-$26). I looked at her and gave $5 just because I don't have the heart to leave $0. Horrible experience, I will never come spend my hard earned money here again. Please leave me recommendations of where to go on the west, pls!!

Well. This is my go…read moreto nail salon on the west side, I'll admit that - but that's because everywhere else has been worse. When I get the nail techs who actually care, this place is 5 stars. They don't rush, they take their time, they're friendly - but if you don't get them? The techs can be rough, rush your service, and make you feel over all like a burden. This place isn't cheap. It's expensive and "luxury" - so in understanding of that, I expect "luxury" - not paying 70 dollars for a 26 minute pedicure that skipped all of the stuff you're paying for. I normally don't ask or complain but I asked for the scrub and the wax that came with the pedicure I bought and it lasted a total of two minutes. Such a bummer. To pay for such horrible service is so sad. Perhaps, if the manager reads this, have a timer each tech uses. That way it's not feeling like your skimped. Because why would I continue to pay for a more expensive pedicure when the person next to me pays for the cheaper session, but gets a tech who takes the time and is an hour long versus 30 minutes? The environment is super nice, it's beautiful. And honestly - the people who give a care are the reason I go back, but there is a reason all the reviews say the same thing. Hopefully someone takes notice and fixes the problems - or another salon on the west side opens.

After waiting some time, a nail tech asked me if I wanted a manicure, I said yes just simple polish. She said gel would be better, as I insisted on what I wanted she walked away and started working on a client I assumed had an appointment since she just walked in and over to the pedicure chairs. No one else acknowledged me after that and I just walked out. Definitely won't be coming here again, rude and inconsiderate. Completely different experience since the last time I came here.

The greedy side of me wants to leave a hideous review just so I can keep this gem all to myself…read more This place is phenomenal! I advise you make an appointment and plan to spend a while here, it is totally worth it. Most places are quick in their treatments so they can get the next customer in, even spa treatments can be rushed and a smell of nail polish remover and cloying scents permeate the air. The atmosphere a bit shadowed by the clutter of several chairs crammed together to maximize the number of clients at a time as well as the grunginess from the large number of people going in and out of the salons. Not this place! Miranda's has a small staff and they'll do everything they can so you are able to relax and be pampered. The shop is spotless and plenty of space is given between the seats for those seeking a haircut or receiving a Pedicure. The design and layout of the store is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and maximizes comfort. Once here, this is where that "spend a while here" plays into effect. They take their time so the treatment is done right and as painlessly as possible. No rushing to squeeze in more customers for more money. Country music plays in the background, just loud enough to be heard and soft enough to not be a barrage to the senses. During your treatment, they'll offer refreshments such as water, soda, or even something for a more sophisticated palette. Everything here is about keeping you, the customer, relaxed and pampered for your visit. Again, I'm severely tempted to leave a disastrous review for my own selfishness, but the staff and this little gem in the desert should be shared and this review posted. Thank you all for the pampering and care. I'll definately return every time I feel like being a bit more girly. (Which will be more often since this place is so fabulous.)

I have never had anyone put stickers on my nails to make the nail it is so clumpy thick already broke on me not even one day having them. Nothing to what I asked for in the pic reference and he calls himself master creative this place is a scam. The girl next to me got done sooner while I was stuck there for 2 plus hours. I called to ask why was I charged $150 he said my email receipt had the charges where no where in my email receipt does it state why but now I see why. He just took my card charged gave it to me and walked away. Never have I been to a salon this expensive with nails that already broke that aren't fully painted on the sides. Worst place ever. The receipt doesn't show NO PROOF of services fucking scammer should just put I want $140 for myself and the nails itself just the remaining $15 for services. Such a "creative" but uses stickers to make a nail while the others do services just like any salon. I will keep an eye on my bank account since others have complained about getting their money stolen.
