Many different types of sunflowers. Big, small, white, yellow, tall, short, etc!

Located on the Southside of Lafayette off of US-52, this is a must stop in the months of August-October. Currently they have a sunflower maze until August 29. The maze is 10 acres! You can also fill a large bucket of sunflowers to take home for $30. In mid September they will open for their themed corn maze, huge pumpkin patch, playground, wagon rides, and food trucks. It's one of our favorite Lafayette Fall traditions. The owners are super nice and we always have a great time.

Worth the drive out of the city to this farm. Lots of attractions for kids includes in the price. All the others are affordable. The part is the pumpkin patch. Big selection of white pumpkins, bis pumpkins and friendly staff to help. The price is great. Corn maze is fun and interactive. Coupons for businesses around the area. Come for a affordable afternoon with the family.

Getting American Gothic at the corn maze

Exploration Acres is agri-tourism at its best. The main feature is a corn maze for exploring and catching some discount deals at local stores and restaurants. You get a map card of the layout of the maze and find checkpoints where you can punch your card and get a deal from a local sponsor. But that is not all! There is a TON of farm-themed activities and games for kids. There is a pick your own pumpkin patch, hayrides, tire races (you get INSIDE the tire!), pumpkin cart races, and a big kids activity area. You can shop at the country store and get something to eat at various food vendors. You can also rent a fire pit for the morning or afternoon. The cost to enter is really cheap - $10 for adults and $8 for children. The only other costs are food and the country store. When you go, be aware that you will be walking through a dirt cornfield and all the pathways are dirt and grass. So if it rained yesterday, prepare for mud. If it's been dry, prepare for dust. Don't wear your best pair of tennies. There is lots of fun for people of all ages, and be sure to bring the kids.

I attended my first ever Corn Maze. As someone from California, some of the Midwest traditions are new to me. The Corn Maze was surprisingly fun and easy. We did walk a lot especially since we decided to complete the whole maze. It was fun navigating the area. I was thankful we had a map! It took us over an hour to get through the whole maze. It helps being in a team. I think I would have been intimidated being alone. The location had a good selection of activities to do for families and people of all ages. There was a pumpkin patch, hayride, corn maze, lazer tag, children's playground, a few food stands but with long lines, and opportunity to purchase other seasonal goods. We didn't eat here for the food was closed and was going to take an hour for the food truck to open again. My friends and I decided to go back home and eat in Carmel. The entire experience was fun except for the wind that made the dirt spread everywhere. It became sometimes hard to breathe due to the dust. Be sure to dress appropriate for you will get covered in dust and smoke.

Amazing Netflix Stranger Things theme, props, and corn maze! Great for families and adults. Take pics by Chief Hopper's car, light up letters, and kid's fort. They really went all out and it looks authentic. Then go through their corn maze that's in the shape of the show! Such a good deal, only $9.50 per person to get in for the entire place. There's also food, cider, a pumpkin patch, and activities for kids.

The corn maze is great but what I really like about this place is that it does so many things. They have campfires set up for your group to rent, great for retreats or family events. I think you can bring your own coolers and such to that. They have bouncy balls for kids to hop on, forts, some sort of projectile firing thing, and just a range of entertainments for all ages. Fun place!

This is the second year in a row that I have rented a bonfire pit and enjoyed the corn maze. The employees do their best at keeping a stock pile of wood out for you as well as tend to your fire when it needs it. We usually bring some food and pop and enjoy smores! There are a few trash cans around that make the pack up easy. Bring your own chairs and cooler and you will be set! I don't know how I never noticed it in the past but there is a laser tag set up that is really cool! My group of 8 did this twice throughout the night and had a lot of fun with it. They can set up the game in a few different ways such as normal tag and capture the flag. You can even ask to set it up where you team doesn't need to go back to your base to reload your gun. It was definitely worth the $4 for all night game play per person. Enjoy!

Can't beat it! There is something for everyone here. A tube slide that all ages can use... Grandparents and Grand children!! An activity area with many free activities like a straw pile, straw tunnel, swings, and a sand box; as well as a couple that are worth a couple bucks. Whether panning for gems, shooting the corn cannon, or playing Lazer tag! Wonderful fire pits in the woods, an expansive pumpkin patch to take a hay ride to or through. The variety of pumpkins is amazing! Giant to tiny and everything in between! I was able to get a pink and blue pumpkin! The owner took the time to tell me that it was a culinary pumpkin and explained how to cook it. This year there was 9 miles of maze in the corn field! I was told that it was a 10 year celebration. Amazing new modern restrooms in old corn cribs! This was a huge plus this year! Can't wait to see what next years surprise will be! I'll be coming back for sure!

Corn Maze 2013! There are coupons this year for each check point!

I can only say good things about our stay at the Heavenly Acres cabin. Jennifer and Forrest were so…read morehelpful in all aspects of planning our trip and of course once we arrived. They responded to all of my emails with the questions I had very quickly. The cabin sits off the side of their house w/ a porch looking out towards the farm. The inside of the cabin has two open bed rooms that are adjoining w/sliding doors that open up to a closet area between the two. While the cabin doesn't have central a/c there is a machine that works as an a/c, a heater, and a dehumidifier. We visited during the summer and this kept the cabin cool. The main room has a couch/trundle bed so you can sleep an extra 2 guests, as well as a dining table (plates, cups, utensils and some cookware available to use). I suggest bringing what you need as far as cooking utensils go, however Jennifer helped us get whatever we needed that we didn't bring. There is a sink, a microwave and a full size fridge, and while there isn't an oven/stove there is a griddle in the cabin that worked very well for us and a grill outside available to use. There were towels and rags for us in the bathroom which was nice since that's just one less thing we had to tote along with us. There is a great one person, jacuzzi tub that I called dibs on as soon as I got there. Very relaxing. Outside there is also a fire pit with bench seating, great for s'mores or telling scary ghost stories. Do yourself a favor and opt in for the hands on farm experience! Gather eggs, milk a goat and/or sheep, help feed the animals and get to meet them one on one, Alpacas, pigs, miniature horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep! Not only is is fun but interesting. You'll learn all kinds of info about each and running a farm. We also got farm fresh duck and chicken eggs that we made for breakfast in the morning, YUMMY! We're hoping to come back for their fall festival if we're still in the area. Thanks again for hosting us, we are so appreciative of everything you guys did to make sure we had a wonderful experience.

It is a very…read morerefreshing and peaceful visit and you will receive sincere hospitality from Jennifer and Forrest who are kind and considerate hosts. This is a nice retreat from city life to rural country in Indiana. (We were passing through from Chicago.) The cottage is cute and comfortable and you can wake up sipping coffee and making yourself some fresh eggs from the farm. The best thing however are all the sweet animals. After the brief tour, you can walk around the property and say hello to the pig, cats, goats, lambs, chickens, donkeys, mules, alpacas, and more. This was a unique and wonderful experience. It was so peaceful watching the sunset while admiring the amazing country fields around you. We can't wait to return. Do yourself a favor and stay here!
