New BBQ sauce! I will grab a bottle before the season is over
Ally R.

Typing this as I sip their apple cider warmed up and it is delicious. Family owned and operated! We have been coming here for years. Despite other orchards/pumpkin patches absolutely price gouging families, Anderson Orchard remains the same and reasonably priced. Hours for September and October: 8am-8pm (or dark) We drove from Noblesville, I was so happy they were still open! Plenty to do for the kids, playground, bounce houses, straw pile, photo ops. They offer U-pick apples & Pumpkins or if you're in a hurry they're ready to grab from the red barn. Pumpkins are super reasonably priced at $.40 a Lb or pie pumpkins for $3. The concession stand is open on Saturday & Sunday. I love the fried biscuits with apple butter & of course you must get the apple cider slushies!! I don't remember seeing it prior, but they had apple cobbler warmed up with ice cream, delicious! I just love this place so much! Don't leave without a bag of apples, Carmel apples, apple cider & get some of those fried biscuits! Highly recommend bringing the whole family.

This was my first time coming to this orchard, our plan was to pick apples but since we came in October we figured that it would be picked over and it sure was! We managed to find a few good ones but the trees were pretty empty. There are plenty of picturesque areas and fun family activities such as the petting zoo, playground area and pumpkin areas. The food was good and I purchased some bagged apples and apple cider. There was a food truck and concessions food area as well.

Anderson Orchard is one of my favorites. It is not on many people's radar which makes it a fun and chill option! So many apple trees to walk through. A great size pumpkin patch. A huge kids area. Delicious food options! My favorite is the fried biscuits with apple butter!! AND you can bring dogs!!

Mac n cheese with queso and brisket from the food truck they had. SOOO good!

We went on a fall weekend and it was a great time. We had the family meet us there and we were able to pick apples, eat treats, drink cider and they even had a food truck (DELICIOUS) as well as a petting zoo. For the kids they had a nice play area. Everyone was friendly and seemed to be having a great time. There were several tables just outside the store by the concession area. Everyone was welcome, there were families, couples, individuals and many cultures represented. It was just a really nice day. I'll definitely return next fall.

We had a great time in this Apple Orchard, there were a lot of fun activities to do and the customer service was excellent! We will be back next year!

Can't visit without getting an elephant ear...or fried biscuits with apple butter...or cider slush....or..

Autumn in Indiana isn't complete without our annual trip to Anderson Orchard. It's gained in popularity over the years so expect to wait a bit for parking on nice weather weekend days. We love it for the chance to drive through the orchard to pick out our own apples and enjoy the beautiful views. They also have u-pick pumpkins and raspberries. Our favorite part is the concessions with elephant ears & apple cider slushies.

We went yesterday (9/25) to the apple orchard cause they were also having a festival and craft fair. I was so impressed by how big this orchard was and how many apple trees they had. Such a good selection even with the busy weekend. We had biscuits and apple butter & apple pie with ice cream to snack on &&&& an apple cider slushee and all of it was so good, especially the apple pie and homemade ice cream. So yummy! The kids enjoyed playing on the playground too.

Amazing place to make memories! Family tradition with the apple picking, play ground, and the best frozen apple concoction imaginable

So much fun was had at Anderson Orchard! I try to get to the orchard every year, but this was my first time coming to Anderson. It was a beautiful fall day and perfect for apple picking. All of the tree rows were marked with the type of apple and the process was so easy. Just grab a bag and go to town. My only complaint was the cars rolling through. I wish they just allowed people to walk or roped it off somehow. The line to buy Carmel apples was very long but moved really quickly. The Carmel was delicious and really hit the spot. They also have amazing apple cider slushies. There was a little playground for younger kids and a small area to buy pre-made food and apple cider.

Ask the Community - Anderson Orchard

Are there any food options available on weekdays? Elephants ears, slushies, apple cobbler or pie?

Slushies and caramel apples are available weekdays. The week of Oct 13 (fall break), we will have a full concession menu.

Are dogs allowed?

They didn't have any signs about no animals. My guess is service animal are okay but you should call to confirm.

Does it cost money to pick your own apples? I havent seen prices listed anywhere. If so how much?

Price is by volume --peck to bushels. You get as many large and small bags as you like. Last weekend we paid $32/bushel (40 lbs of apples), in a bunch of small bags. We picked 2 bushels; it didn't take long at all, it's fun, and you get the exact…

I was looking for heirloom pumpkins for decor and for a still life painting. The crew was watering the mums when we arrived before noon opening on Sunday. The mums were luscious and just starting to bloom. A cart selling Noble Coffee had a lazy aging dog sleeping underneath. Pumpkins and gourds lined the building in neat rows. I found a blue pumpkin that I needed. When the shop opened, kids headed towards the fields for pick your own pumpkins. I was surprised that raspberries were still on the vines for you pick. I headed into the shop to look around. Spencer bottles and sells their own salad dressings and preserves. Fall and Christmas giftware was out. But, a case full of pies caught my eye. Peach, blueberry, cherry, apple and more. I selected a slice of blackberry. I enjoyed my pie outside on their little patio. The pie was delicious. (They The They also sell fudge and ice cream.) The winery is a new addition since my last visit. The winery wasn't opened, but I will check it out on my next visit. Spencer Farm is a great place to visit and pick up fresh produce.

I had the chance to accompany a friend to Spencer Farm for a relatively brief visit. While it was pretty brief, I was impressed. Spencer Farm was started by, you guessed it, the Spencers - Lori and Kyle. It started out as Spencer's U-Pick in 1982. They started out with strawberries. By 1986, they moved to a new farm on Cherry Tree Road. They expanded to include red raspberries, black raspberries, blueberries, and chrysanthemums. They've added pumpkins, asparagus, grapes, Christmas trees, and their son founded a winery that now also sits on the farm grounds. Spencer's now does pre-picked, you-pick, and wholesale fruit. In 2008, they further expanded the farm with a variety of Indiana products including ice cream, fudge, pies, jams, jellies, etc. As you can tell, I immediately wanted to see their sunflower field. I love, love, love sunflowers. One of the reasons I'm not particularly a farm dude is because farms are seldom very accessible. While Spencer's isn't perfect, there's a STRONG effort here to be accessible. I was honestly surprised and impressed. You could send me to the gift shop, and I could be a very happy camper. I will note that they have a strong photography policy. It's on their website, but if you're taking professional equipment I'd read the policies first as there are requirements. There's an awful lot to love here. The people are friendly. The farm is well laid out and surprisingly accessible (the fields obviously have some issues - they're fields). There's accessible parking close to the entrance. This would be a great place for families. Children should definitely enjoy it. There's a strong element of faith here, and that's radiated in the beauty of the surroundings and the service.

This 200-acre establishment offers around 50 acres of apples, 30 acres of vegetables, 20-25 acres of pumpkins, and a greenhouse among other options. There's a small cafe here. There's U-Pick apples, of course, along with U-Pick pumpkins. There's flowers galore, a variety of food items, exhibits classes, tours, and more. They take credit cards (no WIC or SNAP). There's no general admission to get into Tuttle. There's also no parking fee. There are fees for certain activities, and there are obviously fees for items that are sold. There are over 2,000 items in their farm store. I'm a definite fan of the donuts. Yeah, I know. What kind of weirdo goes to an orchard and gets a donut? Me. I'm that weirdo. More than 90% of their plants sold are grown right at the orchard. Tuttle has been around since the early apple trees were planted in 1928. It's now fourth generation Tuttle, though the owners are actually named Roney at this point (but still in the family). Accessibility? Better than expected and obviously intentional. Perfect? Nope. It's an orchard. No orchard will be perfectly accessible, but it's quite good and employees are helpful as much as able. Parking lot offers parking options. They've worked with disabled students, and the hayride is wheelchair accessible. The pumpkin patch is a dirt path, however, for the most part I found it workable. Some may need assistance. The only accessibility issue in most places would be the crowds, as Tuttle can get quite packed - especially on weekends. Tuttles does ask for advance notice for those with disabilities if possible, especially for groups, so guides can adapt material as needed for age/developmental level. Overall, I really enjoyed this visit. It wasn't my first time to Tuttle, though I'd never remembered it well enough to be comfortable reviewing it. After a recent visit, I remembered why I always enjoyed it so much. It was more accessible than expected, everyone was friendly, and a side benefit is really watching all the kids around you have such a good time. There's a reason so many consider an orchard visit a fall tradition. Tuttle Orchard is a great place to start that tradition with your friends and family.

I've become accustomed to orchards having giant slides so they did lose points there. The parking situation needs to be roped off as people really pushed the limit on how close to the drive path they could park, so they lost points there too. Overall I genuinely enjoyed my time at Beasley's and will recommend to my friends. A special thank you to our tractor driver Nolan! He had such an upbeat and fun spirit! He was fun, patient, and gracious enough to take pictures for us. 5 stars for Nolan.

This farm is family owned and you can tell that they put so much love into this business. It's a beautiful thing to see. Lois and Don explained to us how picking at their farm works and what sort of flowers and greenery we should pick. You have the option between at $35 bucket (the largest picking bucket) a $25 bucket and they have $5 buckets for kids. We went with the $35 bucket and it was huge. They taught us how long the stems need to be and to use the garden shears to cut the stems at an angle. Then they let us roam free to pick! We were there bright and early at 9AM and we were the only customers so we had the farm to ourselves. We spent the next hour and a half picking flowers and greenery. It was so peaceful and beautiful on their farm. When we were finished we went back up to the counter. Lois taught us about some of the different flowers we picked and answered any questions we had. We paid, and then we were on our way! When we got home we arranged our bouquets. We were able to get 4 bouquets out of all of our flowers which was awesome! Be sure to bring your own bucket for transporting the flowers! They provide the picking buckets, but you definitely need one for transport. We had SO much fun at the flower farm. I can't wait to return later in the summer. I HIGHLY recommend checking out this amazing family owned business, it's something special!
