The hay ride over to the fields was slow and easy. The driver even offered to snap a picture for us. We picked just short of a full bucket. It came to about $20. They spoil fast, so have a plan! Don't just pop them in the fridge. Then, we went inside the store and grabbed a cantaloupe and some hard cider. The strawberry hard cider was perfection. It was like drinking a fresh strawberry. One of the best ciders I've had - top 3, easy! He said the cantaloupe was great, too! I grabbed a few stickers for my scrapbook and a magnet for his fridge at the little store in the porch. And oh!... don't miss the cider donuts! The plain are best. The icing was waaaay too sweet for me, Overall a fantastic outing! We will do it again! read more

Went here for the coffee truck vendor and ended up leaving the orchard with a couple of treats thanks to my grandson. Beasley's is off the beaten path while being on the path. LOL Nice local spot with plenty of veggies, apple cider and many more things offered. I would love to go back when the weather is a little bit better so we can pick. Would I go back? I would check their socials or website to see which activities are going on so you're able to plan accordingly. For this particular visit, we seen The Flying Pig Coffee truck was going to be there and wanted to check it out. I knew from the line, it must be tasty and I wasn't wrong! My iced coffee was the perfect boost I needed for a Sunday afternoon! Next time I'd love to try a tea beverage. We also visited the market. It's full of homegrown & local produce, local baked goods, and merch from local vendors. They also have a Cidar Bar as well! The apple slushie is delicioussss! Love making memories while also buying fresh produce! Today we scored big time and found not only four black seedless watermelon, but also scored on the buy one get one free cantaloupes! These aren't the typical grocery store cantaloupes, but instead are much bigger in size and fresh tasting! Don't forget to look at the homemade jams, the fresh honey as well as more produce. Beasleys is a top notch apple orchard. They also have pumpkins, a general store, and festival days. The apple orchard was great! There were maps provided with what apples are available as well as a description of the taste/texture of each one. A half peck(approx 10-12 apples) was only $10. There was no admission fee(there is for the festival days) which was appreciated. Make sure you also get an apple cider slushy and doughnuts. Would definitely go back there! read more

Ran their 1st Beasleys Orchard 5k today and it was so fun. Ventured inside the country store afterwards and was pleasantly surprised with how Much they had to offer. A donut and drink bar serving the most delicious apple cider cinnamon donuts, maple glazed donuts and cider (hot and slushie). Snacks. Candy. Drinks. Pies. Pastries. Popcorn. Yum yum yum They even had those candy sticks that I can never find but always remind me of my childhood. Will def be back for apple time in September read more

There is more than fruits and vegetables here. We came for the seasonal apple peach cider slushy... so freaking good. A bit on the sweet side, yet still quite refreshing on a hot summer day. Especially sitting outside on the rocking chairs watching all the customers. Depending on the season you can pick apples, strawberries, sunflowers, zinnias and more. Or just discover all the goodies in the country store. Fresh produce, good looking pies, pickled veggies, some frozen goods, country flair decor for the home. It was a very hot day the weekend we went but we were able to cool off with a cider slushy from the market! If you were hungry, there were food truck options. Visited Beasley's to pick up a gift card one afternoon. It's a beautiful orchard, event space and farmer's market all housed in one convenient location not far off the beaten path. I was amazed at the large selection of produce and other food items available here. From fresh tomatoes, peppers, melons (and of course apples) to their own line of jarred sauces and condiments...wow! The staff were all friendly and helpful, as well. I saw one young worker help a differently-abled patron carry his purchases out to the car and load them in. Now that's Hoosier hospitality at its finest! My family really enjoyed themselves at Beasley's Orchard. Its $14 per person which includes the corn maze, hayride and the little play area for the kiddos. The corn maze was unique in the sense that you had to answer trivia questions to determine which direction to go. So if your answer is wrong then you will have to go back the other way. The hayride was nice and took you out to the pumpkin patch. The small pumpkins were $5, medium $10 and large $15. Beasley's orchard also has a market to buy cider, apples etc. There was also horse riding and a mini pony pulling a wagon for little kids. They offered varies food trucks and little areas for photo opts. The orchard also had games: basketball hoops, apple cannons, and a bounce house. There was also a large hay pile to climb up or take pics. The Orchard is dog friendly just keep your pups on a leash. The orchard had plenty of porta potty and hand wash areas. Parking was free. Overall the experience was wonderful and this will be a family tradition. read more

They have food trucks for any snacks or food you may need. They have great picnic tables for you to sit and enjoy your food. You can bring your own food and eat at picnic tables too. You can easily spend 3 hours in this Apple Festival. We love the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. This is so much fun for the kids. They have face painting and some shopping for moms. I've gone to Beasley's every year somewhere around Halloween time for as long as I can remember. Beasley's has it all. There's hayrides and climbing for kids. There's a corn maze and pumpkin and apple picking. You haven't lived till you've picked an apple straight off a tree and eaten it. There's also apple cannons if you want to throw some duds in a cannon and launch them at tin targets across a field. The country store is fantastic, too. Fresh produce, tons of apples, and even a cider counter in the back for a slushy or other apply pick-me-up. I initially came here to pick strawberries with the kids, but after walking into the market, I had to get some other stuff from there too. Picking the strawberries was addictive. We. picked two full baskets, which was one and a half more than we needed. The strawberries don't last long unless you freeze them. I would say they last about 4 days before they start turning mushy. The close the field periodically to give the strawberries time to grow. So I recommend calling or checking their social media page before you go to pick strawberries. The store has sauces, jams, candy, apple cider, and fresh fruits and vegetables. I had to get the kids some candy and I bought a watermelon and some barbecue sauce. As i was leaving, I saw a sign that said "the best apple cider slushes". So, I decided to be the judge of that. I got a large cider slush with a shot of caramel. And man oh man, the sign was right. It was delicious. The best apple cider slush, bar none. The prices could be a bit better, but freshness costs. The fruit there is delicious and sweet. They also hosts some family fun events there and hopefully I will be able to participate in one soon. read more

They even have an area for kids with a jumbo jump pad, rope net, and ball toss. For adults they have corn hole and tether ball. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Every time we were by one they asked if they could help with anything. We went for the u pick and got a full basket (3.99/pound) they taste amazing and so much better than the steroid filled ones the supermarkets have right now. A fun family activity! I was on the hunt for 150 pie pumpkins for an elementary school event, and Beasley's Orchard came through! Not only did they have that many pumpkins to purchase at one time, but they also quoted me the best deal compared to other pumpkin purveyors in the Indianapolis area. They were also very easy to work with. If I ever need to buy pumpkins in bulk again, I'll be going here first. When I stopped in to pick up my pumpkins, I also visited their farm market, which is located on the farm grounds. Inside the farm market was a plethora of fall produce: melons, squash, tomatoes, potatoes, pears, beans and, of course, apples. I also saw packaged noodles for making soup, local honey, local syrup, local potato chips, local candies ... basically, a lot of local food things. In the refrigerated case, I saw that Beasley's makes and sells their own hard cider! Of course I had to get me some. There is also a cider bar in the store (no hard cider on tap, unfortunately!), were you can get hot and cold apple cider, cider slushies and spices for mulling your own cider at home. read more

Beasley's Orchard is a popular orchard for many on the Westside of Indy. They are officially in Danville on East Main Street about 15 minutes West of Avon. Every year we look forward to the moment Beasley's own corn is harvested and ready for customers. Their corn is so sweet and pops off the cob as soon as you bite into. Today, I purchased a seedless watermelon, a dozen tomatoes, a dozen peaches, 10 lbs of apples, a quart of blueberries, a quart of blackberries, 2 pints of apple butter, 3 1/2 lbs. of greenbeans, 2 dozen ears of corn, 2 cobbler mixes, 2 mini peach pies and 4 cookies. Excellent, fresh summer produce to enjoy this week. Fall Festival Updates: Beasley's is open from spring through early winter. The Sunflower Festival is super popular and fall is the highlight of the festivities. Fall Harvest activities begin September 17th through October 30th include an 8-acre corn maze, hayrides to the pumpkin patch, apple cannons, barnyard bonanza, straw mountain, yard games, delicious food, entertainment, and more! Halloween costume and pumpkin craving contest are held Oct. 22 - 23 and Oct. 29-30. Check out their website for specific details. Additional activities include u-pick apples (starts Aug. 20) and u-pick pumpkins. Activities are available EVERY DAY from Sept 25 through October 31. Weekdays (M-F 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.) offer all of their fall activities at a discounted admission price ($9). Weekends (Sat. 9-6) & (Sun 12-6) are fall festivals ($12) featuring all of the fall attractions and including pony rides, family friendly contests, face painting, food trucks, and unique themes for each weekend! Beasley's serves the ultimate fall aesthetic and you can't beat being able to do multiple activities at an orchard for one flat rate. Beasley's is affordable and fun in the fall time. The corn maze is difficult, but Beasley's method of hinting at which way to turn using multiple choice questions is unique and makes completing the maze a bit easier. You should also go for the apple cannons! The young staff members was super helpful and friendly when we did not know how to use the cannon. I'm sure I will return to Beasley's next fall! read more

This orchard has always been a fan fave of my families all through my childhood but especially since 2009. I along with a few family members made our way around Beasleys on 10/17/2009 where I then began having contractions. I later had my daughter on 10/18 and we've incorporated the orchard into her birthday plans every year. This year was no different, we came to celebrate with apple cannons, the bounce pad, a hay ride, picking out pumpkins, sipping hot cider and eating elephant ears together and best of all having fun! I recommend Beasleys to literally anyone that asks a 10/10 every year. Oh and don't forget after all the fun has been had to go in the store to shop for freshly picked apples, homemade pies, Amish cheese, and all the jams/syrups your heart desires. I initially was looking for some good firewood nearby and I came across a post on Facebook Marketplace from the Beasley Orchard. They mentioned that they sold applewood AND it was a local market so I decided to make the trip. It's less than 7 miles from my home. Once we got there we were greeted and I mentioned that it was my first time shopping there. Lindsey was nice and allowed us to roam the store. I loved the fact that they had local products and products that I usually have to have shipped to me because their specialty products (i.e. Salt Sisters). Erin helped me with all my questions, gave us samples of the cider and told us about some of the events they have throughout the year. We were sold on the slushies when a customer commented on how on good they were. They also have a hard cider that I'll try on my next trip. This was the first time I've purchased a "half rick of wood" but Erin made it an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back for more goodies! So far we loved their apple cider, slushie, grape and black cherry soda and the nostalgic candies that brought back memories for my mom. Their peanut caramel corn was only thing that we didn't really enjoy. I'll definitely grab some hard cider, veggies and soda the next time I'm there. I'm really excited about this applewood. Beasley's Orchard is a staple not only in Danville, but I might argue also the entire Hendricks County! End of July first part of august is my favorite time to visit the orchard. Why? Their Sweet Corn! It is the most delicious, humongous ears of sweet corn of mixed varieties. I love it so much I refuse to almost eat corn on the cob from anywhere else. They have the nicest vegetables, apple cider, cold drinks, popcorn, pies and cakes, Sauces, Jellies, Marinades and much more! The old barn storefront is so cozy and fun to shop around. While exploring the western part of the state, we did a quick search on Yelp to find the nearest orchard and little did we know, it was Beasley's big fall apple festival weekend until we hopped in the long line of cars weaving down the street. Kudos to Beasley's for attracting a crowd. The fest featured everything from horse rides and puppet shows to Wine slushees and hay rides. This spot is extremely family friendly and it also appears that they welcome dogs. During our visit, we perused the farm store (filled with caramel apples, produce and baked goods), purchased cider and a $7 bag to fill with u-pick apples from the orchard. The horse rides through the orchard really stood out to me as something charming and unique that this farm offers. In addition to u-pick apples in the orchard, they offer a pumpkin patch for finding the perfect carving pumpkin or decorative gourds. Overall, a sweet visit and hit for families. read more

I made the trip out to Beasley's for their sunflower festival. I saw something about it on facebook, called a friend to invite her to go with me and the next day we were immersed the sunflowers! Beasley's made for a fun afternoon. I haven't been any other time of year yet, so I can't speak to that. But their sunflowers were both plentiful and absolutely gorgeous! Being able to walk the fields and pick a stem for $5 was well worth it. I felt my happiness meter going up as I spent time picking out my favorites to take home. My friend and I split a $20 "fill with as much as you can" bucket, and we ended up with roughly 10-12 stems (some with multiple flowers on them) each. The workers that day were all very helpful and positive! The only things that would've been helpful in the Covid world with the festival itself would've been marked spots in line to enter the field as people had trouble social distancing/spacing themselves apart. I did venture into their store as well and bought a bomb-dot-com jar of no sugar added raspberry preserves. It was about $9 for a good sized jar and I'm immensely enjoying it! They also had plenty of fresh produce at reasonable prices, canned/jars of goodies (fruit butters, preserves, pickles, etc). All in all, I would definitely make a return trip to Beasley's! They have a nice set up and all the makings for a great day outside for you to enjoy. read more

Beasley's Orchard is one of my favorite parts of summer. From the sweet country store and homemade apple sauce to the fresh Indiana cheeses and sumptuous fruits and veggies, I love buying local goods and bringing them home for delicious, fresh recipes. During the summer months, I make a habit of heading to Beasley's once a week (even though it's a 40 minute drive) to load up on all the produce I'll need for the week. Some of my favorites are fresh broccoli, sweet corn, red potatoes, and banana peppers. Everything I've gotten there is super fresh. I look forward to browsing the country store and picking up produce that I don't normally use, like eggplant. They also keep little recipe cards around the store for inspiration while you gather items. I love that! In addition to the rows of produce, they have a bakery counter and a drink counter with apple cider slushies. I haven't had a bakery item before, but their huge cookies always catch my eye... they're on my list! Head over to Beasley's and support this awesome local business the next time you need produce. A very large orchard located in Danville. Our church group came here to let our youth group have a fun fall activity. The parking lot was very busy- I had seen some reviews discussing paying for parking but we didn't have to on the day we went. There was some confusion over admission as when we called they said if you wanted to walk around you didn't have to pay but if you wanted to do certain activities you would have to pay. Since we had a large group, we let the kids pick which activities they wanted to do. We walked around the you pick apple area and some of them picked apples. Then we ate at the many food options. I got my most wanted item- apple cider slush which wasn't very slushy but still tasty. There was also a games area with baseball, football and basketball throwing. We did end up doing the maze. It is quite a large area so be sure to wear walking shoes. Overall it was a nice time. read more

Really underestimated the Sunflower festival here that runs through 7/31. Picking as many flowers as we could to fit in the bucket was fun and the lined bucket is free to take home with your flowers - had enough for a separate vase at home. Beautiful day - very uplifting activity. read more
