My simple bundle bouquet
Grace F.

My family and I have been to Dollie's twice. Our first time was last summer and we decided to go back today! Unknown to us, my mom, sister, and I came on "Sister's Day" hosted by the farm. We were greeted by the owner with a smile and a description of the selfie opportunities throughout the farm. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the live music from Jamee Blue ( especially her cover of Pinky Pony Club). Prior to cutting flowers the staff explains the process and each person gets a bucket with water and trimmers. It is always so fun to design your own bouquet. After you are done picking, the staff bundles up your bouquets and attaches flower food to go. We each had 13 stems which is a simple bundle ($12). There are vases for purchase. I would recommend having water for the car ride home to help keep your flowers from wilting. The farm also has lavender and eucalyptus which smells amazing. In addition there is a small shelter and a shed with merchandise to browse, mini ice cream and water. Each time we have been to Dollie's it has been very hot outside therefore I would recommend bringing sunscreen and water. This is and was a great adventure to plan with family or kids.

Loved this spot! Great low-activity outdoor activity to do that's not a far drive from Indy! Locally owned for a few years. Lots of wild and other flowers that are you-pick. I opted for a 10-13 stem piece for $10. Great value and we had a lot of fun doing it too. Lavender wasn't quite in season yet but will be back to get some of that. If you don't want to pick, they also have a very small shop with tons of lavender and floral-themed items. Teas, body goods, and other home goods. Friendly staff!

What a great little place! This place is obviously family friendly, and also pet friendly(they even had a water bowl for dogs there as well as bags if they were needed), we were greeted at the front and she gave us the details. Basically, she gave us some clippers, and we could go all through the aisles and clip whatever we needed. They have so many different options for flowers, wildflowers, and other flowers, their big thing is lavender and they have a big lavender field here as well as a whole mint area. In addition, they have a big sunflower area. and places where you could just walk around and sit and relax, a swing and many chairs and nice places where you can just sit and relax. Is a very welcoming place. Their prices aren't too high and the fact that you get to pick exactly what you want and it's so convenient and easy to get to the different choices. You see a lot of things you don't know what they are, but if they're pretty, you'll pick them up. They sell it by the bouquet ($13-$17) and sunflowers are $1.50 if you want those. Highly recommend this for just a day when you just wanna walk around smell some beautiful fragrances and see some pretty flowers, or if you have a need to have a nice little bouquet in your house or for something special.very relaxing and nice. they also have a nice little shop in the front that has all kinds of flower related things and things for the home. We didn't spend much time in there cause we were out with the flowers.

We had a lovely and peaceful experience at Dollie's a Farm over the weekend. On the hunt for outdoor, non-crowded activities with our newborn, we opted to visit this fun and new-ish flower farm in rural Franklin, Indiana. Dollie's opened in 2020 and has been pumping out creative events and activations ever since. During our visit, they had a pick and paint class under way (pick an arrangement from the farm and paint your flowers in the shaded shed with canvas and paint). Talk about a fun afternoon, right? The farm is filled with all sorts of simple pleasures like fresh eggs from their chickens, pet peacocks and fields filled with lavender, sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias, cosmos and more. I opted for a hearty stash of sunflowers ($1.50 per stem) and zinnias, along with a dozen fresh eggs. The store smells incredible and is filled with lavender items made on site. The owner and staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was a sweet experience from start to finish. Worth noting, they're located less than five minutes off 65- very easy access from Indy!

Dollie's Farm is a U-Pick family flower farm that offers fresh and locally grown flowers. Our first visit was a great experience and we are already planning another visit soon. We were greeted by two friendly ladies when we arrived and given a brief overview of how things worked. One of the ladies provided us with buckets that had water in them and a pair of shears. My wife and I enjoyed taking our time filling the buckets with a variety of flowers, including some of the most vibrant and fresh sunflowers I have ever seen. Once we finished selecting our flowers, we visited The Flower Shed and picked out a couple of glass vases. The owner was kind enough to arrange our bouquets in the vases and gave us some tips when putting together flower arrangements. She also added a variety of mint to enhance the amazing aroma and style of the bouquets. All-in-all, we were very pleased with our visit. The hospitality was great, the wide variety of flowers did not disappoint, and the overall experience was well worth the trip. Check Dollie's Farm out - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

What a beautiful flower farm in Franklin! A great place to go by yourself or with friends - they have upick flowers or you can buy some bouquets already put together. It looks like they have lots of events too and I'd love to go back sometime for one! We just walked around the farm, took some photos and enjoyed the beauty.

This is a hidden gem in Franklin! Easy to get to off of 65. They have lavender fields you can pick from. When you walk up to the fields the beautiful red poppies are there to greet you! It's so pretty. The owner said they made the area so it looked like you would be in a field of poppies if you took pictures there. It's really beautiful. That's a flower you just don't see in real life very often. I know the meaning behind them in that the poppies were the first to flower after the battlefields were devastated in Northern France and Belgium after the First Word War. It's a symbol of remembrance and of hope for the future. Seeing them in person they're stunning. You can get a basket to pick lavender or a get a bucket with water for the flowers you want to pick. They said to rub your hands on the lavender and then smell your hands. Instantly you can smell the lavender. They weigh the lavender by the ounce so go to town. They will give you clippers for the lavender and the flowers to cut. They have an assortment of flowers and the owner said in about 3 weeks verbena will be growing and that's what butterflies like. She said one night they had over 100 butterflies by those flowers. Daisies, poppies, eucalyptus, mint, pincushions (cute name for a cute flower), yarrow, are a few flowers and herbs they have right now. The grounds have a swing, chairs and benches scattered throughout, outdoor games, Twister, Jenga, and Domino's. They have a rooster and chickens you can feed also. The gift shop was so pretty! Homemade soaps, local honey, fresh eggs, an assortment of lavender products to buy are just a few of the items! This is a nice get away and let's you get out and experience nature and take some home with you! It's a family owned business that's just started out. It sounded like Dollie's is going to do a lot of fun things as far as events also! Check them out! Oh, Dollie is the owners grandma! :-)

I went to Dollie's with my niece for a Girl Scout outing. We were welcomed warmly and had such a fun time learning about the family history of Dollie's while inspiring young girls to plan for their future. This is a true passion project for this family and it shows. I can't wait to become a repeat customer of this farm! I even came home with some farm fresh eggs that I look forward to enjoying. Set your gps and head for the country! Find parking where you can in the gravel lot and make your way to pick your own bouquet. I encourage you to try some new flowers. My niece was VERY taken with the Chinese Lanterns. Be sure to stop and feed the chickens, it was such a joy to watch the kids be so taken with them.

This gorgeous 5-acre lavender and U-Pick Flower Farm is so calming, welcoming and peaceful from the minute you arrive. As soon as you walk onto the farm the lavender scents travels throughout the property. Good Bye City Life! Thanks to Kara M. I was introduced to Dollies Farm, in Franklin, just a few minutes off of 65 South. We had the opportunity to enjoy their many chickens (eggs sold in gift shop), a stunning peacock, cows in the fields and the most adorable, well mannered little puppy who stole the evening. Saturday evening, we attended the Sunset and Sangrias Event on an unbearably hot day but still had a wonderful time. I enjoyed the event and now that I know what to expect, I'd like to attend more events. A lovely bar was set up on the Pavillion with lavender lemonade, Sangrias, domestic beer and wine. We were entertained by a terrific band who played a very diverse music selection from soft jazz, blues to light rock-and-roll. They were very entertaining and engaging with the audience and encouraged dancing and having a good time. Dollie's is a working lavender farm harvesting the flower buds for wedding bouquets, dried arrangements and lavender products. Guests are welcome to cut bundles of lavender for their own personal use or decorations. Ask for a flower bucket and clippers to begin your adventure. Many butterflies will greet you as you're cutting the flowers. 80 plus varities of gorgeous flowers grow in well spaced rows available to cut and turn into your own bouquet. Bring a vase or purchase one at the gift shop for your personal arrangement or the flowers can be wrapped in paper. Just a few of the flowers you'll find are Mint, Cosmo's, Sedum, Poppy's, Coneflowers, Salvia, Phlox, Zinnias, Marigolds, Bishop Flowers and many more, plus over 17 varieties of Sunflowers are within this 5 acres. Once you've cut all your flowers, the staff will help you make an attractive bouquet to take home. Pricing can be found on their website and on-site above the work table. The property is manicured beautifully with random seating throughout from a patio table and chairs to a large sofa, swings and of course, bring your own chair or blanket for events. Lovely flower beds and firepits are scattered throughout with so many things of interest to enjoy. As I was appreciating the amount of work it took to create this floral wonderland, a movie line came to mind; "Build it and they will come", and they do as evident Saturday evening. The gift shop is fun to explore with all types of merchandise. Lots of lavender products, bug spray, candles, cold beverages and home decor are just a few things you'll find. The Gift Shop is air-conditioned for a quick time out of the heat. Dollies is worth the trip and I highly suggest pick a bouquet. It was fun creating my own personal arrangement. Take a moment to check their Facebook page for upcoming events.

My daughter brought me here to celebrate my Birthday. Such a beautiful place with scenic and colorful views. Very family oriented with a play area for the children. There was a taco truck parked on the site and an outdoor area where you could sit, eat, and relax. There was also a musician on site and he was very talented. It was such a beautiful day! I highly recommend spending a little time here.

The small flower farm packs a big punch. We visited in September and flowers we were still in bloom able to be picked. We are going back next week to attend the fall festival. There will be food trucks, music, games for kids so much more. When you arrive to the farm you immediately smell lavender. It's so calming. There are cute spots to take family photos and a couple of swings for the kids. You can also rent their outdoor pergola space or just have lunch there. After you have walked the farm and picked your flowers stop by their general store. You can buy all sorts of lavender products.
