All staff are women which was really nice. After my first, I've been perusing what would be the best style for my second (I really wanted to get a tattoo dedicated to my cat, Matcha). I instantly fell in love and as fate has it, there was an inspo photo of an omamori with jiji (from kiki's) and cherry blossoms that hit my instagram. Instantly, I knew that this is the style I would like so I messaged Yeonnie and she responded quick. She will do the sketch a day before your appointment (you'll get a cute sketch by midday) and you can request any changes. I absolutely adored the edition of my cartooni-fied cat. I decided to finally face my fears and get my first tattoo. I stumbled across Jing when I was…read moresearching for artists and while the salon wasn't in my area I was willing to make the trip anyway. I emailed my idea and availability and they got back to me a few days later because they were on vacation. I didn't end up booking until maybe almost a month later (emailed in June) because I had to make sure I had the right amount of funds. Thankfully the deposit I made secured my spot for the following week and due to wanting a change in the design Yida was kind enough to consult with me on the change. The tattoo was on my chest and it was quite painful but at the same time tolerable. Jing did a lovely job on my piece and I felt at ease being there. We took breaks but she finished in about two and a half hours. I'll cherish this piece for the rest of my life. I definitely plan on coming back soon. I feel like I made the right choice in trusting Jing!

I've only ever…read morehad the standard lobe piercing since I was 6, but I'd been mulling over getting a cartilage piercing and settled on a hidden helix. Gabby (pretty sure that was her name) and Jenna were super helpful explaining all the jewelry available and what kind of aftercare treatment would be needed as this was my first piercing in a long time. The actual piercing process was probably the quickest part of the whole operation, I'd say it took 5 minutes tops and barely hurt more than popping a pimple. Sadly I don't live in the area so I won't be able to visit to get my piercing resized, but they were really great and I definitely reccomend them to anyone looking for quality piercings!
