Came to 7 Souls for an ear piercing. I had two piercings already in one lobe and needed a second on the other lobe to match. Shana my piercer was wonderful. I really appreciated the time and effort she put into making sure the piercing was in the same spot as my other ear. Piercing was quick and easy. Everything was clean and sanitary. Today was my second time getting pierced at 7 souls and I went in for a conch piercing. My piercer Yana was absolutely amazing! She took the time to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the placement and jewelers I picked out. She even held up the piece I had picked in the spot she marked so I could make sure it was perfect. The piercing process itself was quick and as painless as possible do to Yana walking me through each step. I can't say enough good things about this shop. For as long as Amanda is tattooing near me, I will be getting my tattoos done by her! Almost every piece on my half sleeve was done by Amanda and I have had nothing but an amazing experience. She's done an amazing job at bringing ideas that exist in my head to life via her art!! The shop itself has always been super clean, very professional, and very welcoming. I have a bunch of other tattoos from other NJ based shops and I think 7 Souls pricing is super far and on par with any other respectable shop. I couldn't recommend Amanda and 7 Souls more! Went to get a tattoo yesterday with nick and I have to say it was such a great experience. I have multiple tattoos already from other artists but by far he was my favorite, he took exactly what I wanted from the photos I sent as Inspo and created a beautiful piece. His line work and attention to detail is amazing. This was my first time going to this shop and to nick and I will definitely be back and recommending him/the shop to everyone. I had an awesome experience here yesterday! Walked in off the street on a Friday afternoon, nervous about even asking if they took walk-ins. The woman at the front (whose name I tragically did not get -- she seemed important, so maybe she was the manager?) was super welcoming and friendly and set my mind at ease. She hooked me up with Bec, who was very professional and non-judgmental, and gave me a great little tat -- just what I wanted. I don't get tattoos very often, so I might not go back for awhile, but the shop has such a good vibe that I would recommend it to anyone. read more

I am beyond thrilled with my tattoo! I did an online inquiry and Liana the manager contacted me almost immediately and did my deposit and appointment online for the day I asked for. I explained what I wanted and she suggested Ilona to do my tattoo. When I arrived, she showed me her rendition and she suggested some changes that made it even better than I imagined. I never give out negative reviews. But now I have to every time I go there there is some weird communication between me and the artist.I never leave satisfied. I don't even know why o go back. I have four tats from this place. I resent connected with one of the artist to asked if she can add simple cherry blossoms on my leg to connect the two tattoos that I have on my leg. It might've been all of 10 flowers add and she Said no because she wants me to be happy as she doesn't want to go over somebody's work it's just little flowers. Your operation is possibly the worst most unprofessional. I will never ever go back to this place again completely disappointed. I won't give her name or anyone else's hi across-the-board it just isn't a good experience. I came in town from Los Angeles to visit friends and wanted to get a second ear piercing. Found 7 Souls and so glad I did! First, the place was so clean, something that I pay close attention to. Just as important was how friendly and helpful the staff was, they made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I got my piercing and they went through detailed instructions on how to care for it. I always felt well taken care of from start to finish and highly recommend checking them out for either piercings or tattoos. The talent I saw from these tattoo artists was top notch if you are looking for some new ink. I know they also have shops in Jersey City and Fair Lawn if those are closer to you. TL;DR Amazingly clean and professional shop with awesome artists who do great work. I first discovered this shop over the summer when they were running a Friday the 13th special. I had gotten there fairly early and it was already crazy but they were very organized and professional about it all. I was put on a waiting list and called a few hours later to come back. Ashley "Panda" did my tattoo (a Harry Potter brown paper bag) and was awesome. Not only does she do great work but she's funny and professional. In October, I reached out to another artist, Ryan, to draw a custom occult "The Craft" tattoo and he blew my expectations out of the water. The tattoo was better than I imagined and like Ashley, he was professional, funny, and did amazing work. Yesterday I returned for their promotional flash where some proceeds were being donated to To Write Love on Her Arms, an amazing organization that means a lot to me. Once more I had Ashley do the piece and like the last time she was super friendly and professional and we had great conversation throughout the duration. I love this tattoo company. They also have a location in fairlawn and I have been to both. I see Jackie at fair lawn and Jessica at Ramsey. Jackie does amazing work for me every time I see her. She is so kind and friendly when you get there and during the tattoo she is a real gem. And Jessica is one of their newer tattoo artist she started on me when she was an apprentice and she is such a sweet and talented woman. I have several hundred dollars of work on my body from this shop and I love the relaxed atmosphere, however, there are some extremely unprofessional tattoo artists here that will talk behind your back and belittle you in the cliques that have formed. I would love to come back, since I live right in Mahwah, but the people responsible for the drama should be fired, indefinitely. Currently looking for a humble tattoo artist at 7 Souls.
