She did ask for a deposit before she would sketch and commit to a appointment for the final tattoo on the day of the appointment she was ready on time and provided a virtual sketch of the Agreed-upon design. She encouraged me to make final edits before printing final copy. She also worked with me to find the proper size and placement beforehand. Overall, the final appointment was about an hour, including edits to the design and having the tattoo completed.

I asked for a realistic hieroglyphic tattoo and what I got was horrible job that I have to now get LASERED off. The owner not only seemed disinterested and rushy(even when I booked that date), but asked me to switch artists when I booked for HIM.... I understand I was a few minutes late(traffic as I was coming an hour away and I did notify him in advance), that was the red flag that told me I should've abandoned the appointment but he had already took my deposit(still should've abandoned ship!). I told him to I booked with him and him only. He seemed irritated and rushed through the tattooing(again I apologized for being a few minutes late which I again told him in advance), and so I ignored. However, the finished product was a MESS and disaster as you can see. And even other tattoo artists noted so, two being my go to tattoo artists. This tattoo is a jumbled mess from the line work, women's faces, very lazy shading, etc. I can go on.... Its just a mess and luckily I saved the original image when it was done to show proof. This piece was supposed to be the Tomb of Nebamun but looks more like the tomb of disaster. Nothing looks like the original picture. Heck an apprentice back at my go to tattoo shop laughed and said he could do a better job. In fact many people I show cant believe the amount of money I paid! To add insult to injury the piece was $700! Now some tattoo artists I spoken to are baffled in how this tattoo doesnt match his "impressive" portfolio. Some even saying many of those tattoos in his portfolio aren't his. I don't know what the case maybe but all I know that I got a lazy, rushed and uninspired tattoo that I REFUSE to have permanently on me.... So yea going to try laser removal(ouch!) this year but the pain will be worth the mental pain I suffered. This is a warning.... If you want GOOD tattoos and artists that care avoid this shop....

The shop itself is great. Bright and clean and everyone supports the running of the business and I thought I found a place to stay with for years to come. I did nine tattoos with her and along the way and I thought I had built up a nice level of trust and respect. I thought I was a better than average tipper and did my very best to follow her rules for communicating and discussing my designs. In March I was all set to do my tenth tattoo. It was going to be a surprise to show my niece and nephew at a mid-May party. I went in for a consult and reviewed my design and gave my deposit. She mentioned she had idea(s) for the stars in my design and that night I asked her to send me some to review. (This was about two months before my appointment.) I followed up a couple of weeks later and she tells me how busy she has gotten with new customers, how much pressure she is under, but she'll see about getting me something "in a few days." I told her no worries, take a month. I just need it a couple of weeks before my appt so I can review it. Unfortunately, I never received anything from her. Ultimately I had to contact her to cancel my appointment because I didn't have the designs she promised. There were a lot of excuses, but she didn't really try to make it right or find a mutually workable solution. I'm truly saddened because I think she's a fantastic artist ( I had her tattoo her logomark on me I liked her work so much), I thought we had a really good working relationship, and I hoped this would be a long partnership. I guess she had different ideas. I wish her luck.

A little expensive…read moreas Friday the 13th tats are usually $31 plus tip, but I knew Screamin' Ink is a reputable shop, so I went anyway. I was showed what was being offered that day, picked out something I loved, and was told it'd be $150. Confused, I asked, "isn't everything $60," to which the owner replied, "no, our minimum is usually $100, and today it's $60." I was aggravated, bc that's wasn't what was told to me, but I was there and had my mind set on getting tattooed either way. Mike was my tattoo artist and I couldn't be happier with his work!!! I'm sooo pleased with my piece and can not wait to go back and get more done with him!!!

Every single piercing I have had done here has become infected. I had a cartilage piercing done…read morehere with a gun before I knew the consequences of using a piercing gun on cartilage tissue and it became extremely infected and still has a buildup of tissue resulting in a weird bump. The people who work there care more about how much money you spend on a piercing than making sure they know how to take care of it. They have no knowledge of the healing time of cartilage piercings and are quick to blame the customer for any problems with the piercing. They should be shut down for using a piercing gun, or instead get the proper training to pierce without it. Parents: Do not bring your children here, go to Claire's or Icing instead. Adults: If you want a quality piercing done by a licensed professional, I suggest going to a tattoo/piercing shop and discussing your piercing with one of their employees. It might be a tad more expensive but worth it in the end.
