Rachel was so knowledgeable and patient, explained every little detail to me about the current state of my brows (many years post-microblading and powder brows)... and basically helped me come up with a game plan on how to maintain them well. She has a lot of integrity and even said lamination wasn't the right step this time, so she just shaped them so beautifully and tinted them. Explained all the after care. Exterior = 5/5 Located near the train station, it's on the corner of a street. There is parking (if you are lucky) inside but only a few spots, so most likely go for street parking but wasn't hard to find in front of the location. Interior = 5/5 It was bustling, they have a salon that had customers coming and going. I came specifically for the microblading - so Kelly brought me over to a room on the right that was private which I appreciated since after you close the door, it muffles the sounds of all the activity outside. Service = 5/5 Everyone I encountered were super kind and welcoming. Kelly is blowing up and doing all these cool events with her team with Gold House and still managing weddings all over. Yet, she is still so humble and takes her time to chat and learn more about the customer. I was super nervous to get microblading but she walked me through the process, helped me feel comfortable with the results we were planning, and would check in on me frequently through the whole thing. I felt like I had a say in the process and honestly that a friend was doing my brows - it was casual, relaxed, and chill. Order = 5/5 I got the combo brows which is microblading with powder. I will never not get this. I had patchy brows (over plucking, scarring, yikes) that I was super self conscious of growing up and was having to fill them in. Since getting these done - I barely have had to fill in, maybe a slight touch up if I have an event or need to do some make up. If you like bare faced and natural looks, this was game changing. I'm super not familiar with make up or skilled at it - enough to be dangerous, and this helped me so much. I feel more confident and happier with my brows. Only slight upkeep is needed to trim! I have already gotten my touch up from the initial appointment, and you only need to go maybe every year or so after to touch up. Overall = 5/5 Great investment that I kick myself for not having done sooner. But honestly, glad I waited till I found Kelly. I tried brow lamination, and it wasn't for me. First, I feel she could've been kinder when she missed my messages over a five day period. I never received an apology and in person, she was not the warmest person. That's fine, though, not everyone needs to be super bubbly! Second, I thought it was incredibly uncomfortable to sit in a chair with no back support for the entire duration of my brow appointment, which was close to an hour. Again, having now gone to another artist, most have a bed where you can lay down and relax. I actually asked her about this and she said the bed is only used for lashes. Finally, I thought she did a fine job, but having had them done by another artist, I like my brows much better by the new artist. All of this said, I had initially gone to her once before just for shaping and tinting and I thought she did a great job. I've attached a photo of that service. The only downside is that the tint faded extremely fast.

Expect, my eyebrow threader was on her phone a lot, before and after she saw me. I was there a few months ago but, I do remember she was a little too quick doing my eyebrows, it felt very rushed. After she was done, she left to go to the bathroom and didn't come back. My friend was still finishing up her eyebrows, so soon after I went to the bathroom as well and walked past my threader. She was sitting in the back somewhere on her phone again. At this point, I still haven't paid. It would have only been annoying, but later I realized she messed up one of my eyebrows and took too much off. One was thinner than the other. I eventually went to another place and there, they lined them up better, correcting her mistake. It wasn't worth the money and trip, if this is the service we may get.

She wasn't friendly at all, almost in an off putting way. It comes across as she doesn't want new clients and only cares about her repeat clients, which I eventually wanted to become. Went to her again yesterday to get my brows done for my bday. I use retinol but know that I need to stop using it least 3 weeks before. I waited over a month this time just to be cautious. Told her all about it and that I don't want my skin to lift and I took all precautions because it's happened before with another brow artist. The wax hurt a bit more than normal and I asked if my skin lifted and she said no. As soon as I looked in the mirror I could see the skin under my eyebrows came off. I wish she paid more attention or told me the truth about it lifting so I didn't do the other brow. So now I'm going to look like this on my birthday. Definitely regr

There's plenty of parking, but it might be crowded due to nearby businesses (e.g., Food 4 Less). The inside is usually clean. For the few times I've been there, only one lady (Sally) has been there working. So depending on the time and day, you may be waiting more than what you expect. However, Sally is pretty efficient without sacrificing quality in her work. She pays attention to the details and usually follows through with what I ask of her. She takes her time and kept making sure that my eyebrows were balanced and the same shape. This took approximately 15min for my threading (eyebrow was $12 and upper lip was $6). It would be nice to have package/combo deals but I think they compensate for a stamp card system (if you go 9 times you get your last threading service for free). Convenient for those living in the area. Get your eyebrows done while you're out running errands.
