Plus, I would have to go to them. Next, we called SafeLite and they were able to come to my home the very next day and do the replacement for $110 less than the local shop. They took payment from my landscaper over the phone, and the next day a very friendly and capable technician showed up, on time and after keeping me well-updated on his expected arrival time. The only minor 'glitch' (which could be more major for some people) was that during the initial phone call I was offered either an AM time window or a PM one, and I chose the AM one. Later that day, though, a rep called to say they'd have to put me in the PM window because of the need to plan an efficient route. I totally understood, and since I work from home and had no obligations that day, it didn't matter. I highly recommend SafeLite, and though I hope to never need them again, they'll be my first call if I do.
