DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. Will not be returning to this business or suggesting it to anyone. DO NOT BRING YOUR DEVICES HERE! I came in on May 9 to get the glass on my camera fixed. I was told it would take a few days for the part to come in and then I could bring my phone in to be repaired. I never received a phone call or any messages letting me know the part had been delivered and I could bring my phone in. I had taken a trip and come back June 1. I called that Monday and asked if the part was in by now to which I was told no and it would be in later this week. This was very frustrating as I had waited over 3 weeks and no communication was made. So I waited until Thursday to call (again, I had to call every time) and was told it would be in that day or tomorrow and to come in tomorrow. I came in and gave my phone to them and was told it would be about an hour, I gave them a number to call to reach me and an hour later (first communication I received and to no surprise it was bad news) they called me telling me they had the wrong size for the camera... they told me I could come back to get my phone and they would overnight the piece and would let me know when it came in. He also told me that he "buffed out a scratch on the lens". I never asked for this, I turned my camera on and all you can see through the lens is blurry. I attached the picture. He told me it was most likely a software malfunction. I took it to Apple for a second opinion (free of charge) they told me he scratched the lens and made it blurry and that he caused the issue. I had planned to bring this up to him when I came in to get the glass on my camera fixed hoping he would resolve the issue he caused. It's now Wednesday and I've received no calls. I called in to ask about it and was told he "called twice and left a voicemail" which isn't true as I've received not a single call from the company. I then explained the situation to which he responded it was not his fault and that they performed "routine maintenance" on my product and claimed no responsibility for the further damage he caused. He told me he would refund my money for the lens but wouldn't fix my camera. I now have to find another company to fix the lens that he damaged. read more

I needed a new battery for my 3 yr old iPhone. The phone had been dropped in water 6 months ago, and at that time I immediately went through the correct procedure to dry it out. Because I dried it out correctly, it has worked nearly perfectly for the last 6 months. Recently, the Apple Store refused to install a new battery due to the previous water intrusion. That seemed utterly absurd and ridiculous to me so I sought out this store since it had great reviews. They acted like the battery replacement was no big deal, which I loved to hear. They said they could install the battery in ten minutes and they did exactly that!! I was overjoyed! The manager is very friendly and informative. I knew it. My friends knew it. I had reached a critical moment in my 1st world life and immediate attention was required. I needed to upgrade my laptop life. I was using a 3 year old Chromebook that was on it's last leg of life and could barely open up Google Drive without freezing. The screen was starting to do the wave, and although the boot-up time was stellar, the upload speeds had me feeling a 1993 AOL - dial up deja-vu vibe For months I explored the worldwide web, seeking answers on the best next step. Should I stay with Chromebooks? Perhaps - but it really bothered me that there was no delete; just a backspace. Will I allow myself to open a Window, maybe 10 of the and take a step back into a world I vowed never to darken the step of again? OR Maybe it was time to get crazy and wild and join the iLife. I heard many positive reviews of their products and even have an iPad in my possession. Could I push my utter disdain for their employee treatment to the side and give up a limb for the fruit that glows white in the night? Only time would tell.... Let's fast forward to an unseasonly warm day in December when I was heavy into an Amazon lighting deal session. I needed to multitask and check out the price of something on the Costco website and disaster struck. The Chromebook attemped to impersonate Else and froze...and then did some weird screen contortion rendering it useless. It had to go. Fortunately for me, a friend of mine purchased a MacBook the prior weekend and raved about experience, and the owner Dean of Experimac. I peeped out their website and decided it was worth the 30 minute drive to check out the store. In less than 3 minutes I knew I was going to buy a Mac from Dean. This guy is incredibly patient - like many of you who have made it this far into my review. What I loved most about my interaction with Dean is that he spoke to me in a language I could understand. His knowledge of other operating systems (OS) is as such that he can quickly make correlations and recommendations on how to complete similiar tasks on a Mac, while not ignoring the fact that there is an adjustment period. He understands that switching to a new OS isn't easy and offers personal 1:1 time to help acclimate each user to the system. Dean won't rush you or pressure you to buy something you don't need. He will ask you several questions to make a recommendation of the best product based on your needs. Who doesn't enjoy a customized experience? I know I do. So - I have to make a confession. Initially I skipped out on the personal training session Dean offered. I was in a rush and needed to get to my next destination. Hours later I was clicking around on my laptop and was completely and utterly lost. It only took a few hours and I was convinced I made the wrong decision and sent Dean an email at midnight telling him I needed to return the Mac and that it was all a horrible mistake. Y'all - Dean called me the next day incredibly calm, and sympathetic. He listened to my concerns and asked if I could come in so he could go over the laptop with me. I told him that I thought it was a waste of time but that I would. I'm now a proud AND confident Macbook owner. read more

I honestly love these guys. We bought a MacBook here about 9 months ago and my son managed to destroy the screen (somehow the plug from the display to the logic board got all kinds of gunned up). They spent all kinds of time trying to fix it before realizing that the logic board would need to be replaced to make the screen functional again. Instead of pushing the repair on us, he suggested transforming it into a desktop and didn't charge us for all the work he did. The customer service here is always above and beyond what I could expect. They're upfront about pricing and take the time to make sure you're taken care of in the right way. They've spent time with us to make sure we knew how to operate a system, quickly turned around payments on a phone we sold to them, and have always done a thorough job with repairs. They're now my first and last stop when it comes to Apple products. read more

These guys just can't get it right. I took my phone in to have the screen replaced. Before I had gotten to my car, the screen had already died. I turned right back around and waited again to have it replaced. That time it worked until I was nearly home and began intermittently going blank again. I took my phone in to have the battery replaced. The next day I had to take it back to the store because the battery was already beginning to fail. They gave me another new battery, but I didn't notice a lot of improvement. Anyone can make a mistake, but when you have to fix every problem twice and even then the solution isn't working out that well, I begin to lose patience. At least the people are nice. Next time I'm going to the mall for one of those kiosk repair stations. read more

I DO NOT recommend this place! Husband and I got a iMac for his schooling and had it for a month. First, we were told it was a 2015, come to find out it was a 2011 and still paid almost $900. Had nothing but problems with it! Called once and the owner, Dean, thought something was funny when I asked him what this problem was. He talks to you like you are dumb. Took it in after it shut down during my husbands school work, to find out the hard drive is all messed up. Dean's response was "you've only had a couple problems with it"... yeah, in the MONTH we have had it!! Ended up returning the iMac and getting a refund, went to Best Buy where we bought a brand new one for less than $200 more. Do not waste your time and money. Not worth it. read more

But, through excellent marketing - I remembered them when I did need something. Today was that day. I went in and purchased a MacBook Air from the owner Dean Kilton. The place is clean and well organized with products displayed prominently. The owner and staff (Brooklyn I believe) were kind, courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They worked with me to make sure I not only got into the right computer, but then made sure I had the necessary accessories. They were not high pressure, nor pushy. In fact, I would very much compare them to the service we have all come to expect from our Apple stores, but without a thousand people and a long annoying wait!
