If you're thinking about shipping a car, DO NOT use Regal Auto Transport or let anyone refer you to them. I was quoted $675 total with a $200 deposit. After paying, communication was terrible, my pickup info was lost, and I was suddenly told there was an additional $600 cash fee. Later they claimed the total was $800. Ronnie was extremely rude, refused to listen, and hung up on me. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. I'm not even sure how they are still operating but please save yourself the trouble then claimed they were gonna give me A "50 dollar refund in good faith" another lie they are all untrustworthy pls do use them read more

They lie about almost everything, please beware. Ronnie says whatever to make a sale and isn't honest about what really will happen between the hiking up pricing and lying about when truly they are able to transport. read more

I inadvertently paid them $2366 after having previosly paid them $1900. My mistake. When I texted them this fact they DID return $2000 (the first $1000 quickly and the second after sending a text or three). Then nothing, I was still owed $366. I texted them again and was told that he would let the "billing department" know. My bet is the "billing department" is the waste basket next to a desk. If there is such a department they are very sluggish. I'll see but I expect I can kiss that $366 goodbye. Oh well, lesson learned - check reviews! read more

Ronnie as most people put in reviews is not honest. I gave a 1 month window and the day of pickup the cost went up. Ronnie gives no help like a lot of the reviews below state. Very sad. Do not use this broker. read more

PATHETIC COMPANY !!! Their customer service is pathetic and so is Ronnie!! I was recommended to him and I will complain about that referral as well! My car was not picked up for DAYS!!!! I've had a poor experience with this company in shipping two cars to Honolulu. First, the drivers weren't paid, nor was Matson so we had to scramble to make payment. They also tried to bait and switch the shipping price due to the fires on another island. I was not notified by this company when my cars arrived and was charged hundreds of dollars in storage fees. They are saying they are not liable for these fees, however Matson has said this has happened with companies many times. Their customer service is very defensive (I spoke to Kevin) and they do not aim to help or claim liability. Rather they try to do "gotcha" conversations where they explain their confusing contract instructions on why you're liable. I plan to report them once I find the right authority to report them to (I can't seem to find them in BBB). read more

The quintessential the-only-reason-this-company-is-getting-a-single-star-is-because-I-can't-give-them-negative-stars. Was "helped" by employee named Ronnie who quoted us $875 to transport our vehicle from California to Florida. Nobody showed up for several days after the day we were told our vehicle would be picked up. When they did show up they went to our old address. We had communicated the new location to Ronnie who didn't bother letting the driver know, completely wasting the driver's time. We had to move the car to a friend's home because we needed to get to Florida and were out of town by the time our vehicle was picked up. We were notified - two days after we left California and were rolling through Texas - that the cost "was going to be a couple hundred more" and we were irritated with the obvious breach of contract but we're halfway across the country and our other vehicle is still in California so what were we supposed to do? We agreed to move forward. Flash forward over three weeks later - two weeks after we were supposed to get our car - and with no communication from Ronnie who just stopped returning our calls and no idea where our car was a driver called to let us know that he had our car and it was ready for drop-off which was a relief because at that point I had planned to report our vehicle stolen. Care to guess what "a couple hundred more" on top of an $875 orignal cost was? A grand total of $1,300. Wow! $425 is "a couple hundred more". When we called Ronnie to discuss the discrepancy he became very defensive and started saying irrelevant stuff like "now it would cost $1800 to have your car transported" and that we had no right to accuse him because he "has seven kids". Dude is shady AF and employs immoral business practices. Do yourself and favor and DO NOT use this company. There are a lot of scumbags who have produced offspring and even Hitler like his dog. Just saying, Ronnie, you scumbag. read more

I needed to transport my car from Los Angeles,Ca to Newark,Nj during the Covid19 pandemic. Andrew and Ronnie saved me of so much worry and hassle of the insane thought I had...of driving myself alone across the country during a pandemic. I flew out to Jersey that following Friday...and my car was delivered to me.. the next day on Saturday!! Safe and sound. I would definitely use them again. Angelique read more

The "way it works" is: Get a quote. make a deposit. then get a NEW quote for more than you were quoted 48 hours before your date to be shipped. What a terrible experience. I wish I could give no stars at all. They are a total scam with upfront false promises, endless delays, lack of understanding the customer's needs, and bait and switch. I asked for a two day window for pickup which they said they could guarantee and then took my deposit. They called me 3 days before my window and asked if I could do that date which I could not, which is why I asked for the window I specified. Then the date of my pickup comes and they say it will actually be more like 7 days after that for pickup and they blamed me for not taking the earlier, unacceptable time, tried to explain that gas prices were high and no one wants to come to my smaller non-major city and that because of that reason, they would probably request I pay more than their quote upon delivery. They continuously hung up on me or just didn't pick up on their hotline and it was a disastrous experience which had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I ended up going to Montway Auto Transport and paid $1000 more for a guaranteed date of pickup and those people have been nothing but professional. Stay away from these amateurs/scam artists. You don't move that often in your life, so spare yourself this heartache and stress. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SHIPPING COMPANY I got a quote from Ronnie for $650.00. I made a $200.00 deposit, I paid $450.00 on delivery. When I got my credit card bill he had charged me $50.00 more. I called for an explanation, He said the carrier wanted more money (don't we all) so he paid them $50.00 more but the carrier said nothing about this on delivery. I have the bill for $450.00 and paid in full.I think he is the one who wanted more money. Ronnie was very disrespectful and rude and had no real explanation other than it was only $50.00 dollars and that was business. Business of a con man I say. From reading other reviews this is common practice for Ronnie. CHECK THEM OUT WITH BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU read more

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE trust every negative review you read on here. Ronny is an absolute snake. Don't give this scum your business We were referred to Ronny by friends. We paid a $200 deposit for auto transport from Staten Island to Los Angeles. Upon receiving a quote with terms and conditions to sign, the total price did not reflect the deposit already paid. I called an employee of Ronny's named Ray to have that reflected before I signed to make sure I would only owe $1300 upon delivery and he told me the system doesn't let him do that but he would put it in the "notes". This was a huge red flag as the note section is not a legally binding contract, so I called Ronnie to try to resolve the issue. He told me "Don't worry, its all good" and rushed me off the phone. After multiple attempts to speak to him again both calling and texting, I decided everything felt shady and opted not to sign and to not use Ronny's services. We requested a refunded deposit and after being ignored for a while, Ronnie replied on text that he wouldn't do so. We are seeking a refund of our initial deposit read more

TOTAL SCAM DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY! Everything about this company is a scam. I dealt with Ronnie, but it is a boiler room of people who are involved. They advertise online to prey on those they do not have to meet face to face...They will be friendly, give you a good price, book everything and it will all seem legit...but like countless other reviews on other sites, they will never show and they will ghost you when you try to call and see what is going on. If you have already given them a deposit, immediately inform your credit card company and reverse the charges. My credit card company said they have dealt with this company before with other complaints. In addition, I called around and found that virtually everyone in the car transport business knows these scammers and have been burned by them. read more

Do NOT use these guys to transport motorcycles. They have NO IDEA, what they are doing with motorcycles. They have no clue how to use google either. I needed 2 motorcycles shipped from Los Angeles to Florida, the moving company recommended these idiots, so I went with them. First, they asked where from, and where to, which is dine, then they asked what makes and models, I supplied them with exact year, make and model of each bike, they quoted a price that I felt was reasonable, and paid them the deposit and waited for the bikes to be picked up. The first driver showed up with a trailer too small to accomodate, when I asked him what he was expecting to pick up, his exact words were "a vstar and a sidecar", both small things right? NO I told those assholes 2012 ROYALSTAR venture and a URAL YAMAL. Had they used google, they would have known EXACTLY what these were, so that driver had to leave without taking the bikes. When I called the company and told them what happened, they said "but he should have had room for a little vstar and a sidecar, they arent that big". To which I replied, I will send you dimensions and pictures. They called back a short time later all confused, and said "those are huge, we had no idea", no idea? I gave you EXACT makes and models, to which they replied, "we didnt realize". Omay asshole, how can you run a business shipping motorcycles if you have no idea what the fuck you are shipping? He then proceeded to tell me it was going to cost way more than I was originally quoted. Long story short, a 1650 dollar transport turned into a 2400 dollar transport. The second driver knew exactly what he was doing, and both bikes made it okay. But, FUCK YOU RONNIE, YOU SUCK!!! If I could do a half star I would. read more

Please be aware of Ronnie and his business practice. I was referred to him by Prime Moving. Both company caused me unwanted stress and troubles. Ronnie failed to honor the price I agreed with Prime Moving, changed the vehicle pick up date, hung up the phone on me and another occasion he screamed at me. Let me emphasize he did not raised his voice, he SCREAMED. He was accommodating until he received my credit card information and everything changed after. He changed the shipping cost, the pick up date and his demeanor became disgusting. He is a RACIST individual who has a problem with others who are unlike him. He is a greedy broker, who only make phone calls and cares only about his pocket. I had a horrible experience with him including his office staff. Please be aware. read more

Shame on me for trusting a referral from a moving company and not researching well enough. My review mimics many here and with the BBB. Do NOT use this company. They never arrived when they committed to. Would not communicate once they took deposit. No written business contact. Once we finally did get someone to call us (Ronnie...see the pattern in these reviews??) He was abusive and combative. I've contacted BBB, my bank, the LA County commerce department. I'm thankful we didn't ship with them. But now I'm back to square one in another state having to extend a rental car. read more

Well my car did arrive, but this whole process was a scam. My agreement was to transport my car from San Jose CA to Northbrook IL for $1,075. I gave them a $150 deposit which left a balance of $925. On the day of pickup they wanted $312 more because they did not have a carrier in the area and had to take the car to L.A. first. So I paid that with a credit card. Then upon arrival they wanted $1,000 rather than the $925. It also took the driver (who did not speak English) from 7:30 until 11:00 to figure out how to get the car down from the hauler. I DO NOT recommend them. I'll give them one star, because the car did arrive. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I used this company to ship my vehicle from LA to Tacoma.through Kangaroo Movers. Ronnie's behavior was very consistent with other reviewers here. Why can't you give zero stars? This guy Ronnie is disgusting and despicable. I called the 1st time and heard him say "let me get this bitch off the phone" before he even said hello!!! So I hung up. He called back all nicey nice. I wouldn't have answered but my sister said she knew who he was (turned out later she didn't know him as well as I thought). He IMMEDIATELY asked for a deposit to ship my car from Cali to Florida. I took 2 days off work for the pick up to make sure I had plenty of wiggle room. NOBODY SHOWED UP. NOBODY EVEN CALLED OR WOULD ANSWER MY CALLS. It was awful. When I finally got through a few days later they said "were gonna need more money, nobody will transport a car for 1400 dollars". I was like, "what!!!??? That was the price YOU gave me! I didn't give a price!!! I don't know the going rate for this stuff!! I trusted YOU". Anyways, he called me a bitch again and I wasn't even yelling or swearing at him. This man has major anger problems and will snap at you any chance you give him. Something is off. Idk if he's an addict or something but you'll see. He will start yelling and screaming even if you say "but that's not the price you quoted me and I already paid a deposit". That's all I said. Maybe he was drinking when I called. Anyways, something was majorly off. This person is very unstable. Will take your money and run. Run before he does!!! Also, I called a place called Road Runner transport and they got my car to Florida in one price for 1450. Almost the same price Ronnie quoted and then later screamed at me for saying it wasn't reasonable. Again, I don't do this for a living and I went off the price HE gave me. I didn't haggle at all. Just said ok a.d paid deposit. I wish I had a recording of the call. It's insane. Also, it looks like once he gets enough bad reviews he just changes names!!! Run, Run, Run read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I was given a quote for $750 and had an agreed upon date. Paid $150, was told that I would receive a call 24-48 hours in advance of my pickup date for the final details of the pickup. They called me 3 to 4 days after the pick up date after my constant calling to rudely be told that price was increased to $1100 dollars. Had no calls or contact whatsoever even on the last day of the agreed-upon pickup window. Took me several times of questioning before I was told that they were unable to find a driver so they didn't have anyone who could pick up my car. They are the rudest ever. Finally they gave me refund and I hired a different company. Please please please don't hire them.. read more

I scheduled an auto transport, paid the deposit, then had to cancel due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The sale of my house fell through because the contracted buyer lost his job from the shut down of businesses. I canceled the auto transport more than a week in advance of the scheduled transport. One star is generous given the situation I found myself in today. Had not heard from Ronnie. Called yesterday and was told I would receive a call this morning about when my car would be picked up. Did not receive a call so I reached out and was first told that the transport would arrive in the afternoon. Soon after another call stating he had problems finding a transport and that he only found someone today would need to charge an additional $250. The worst customer service. Ronnie is the rudest and doesn't care about how he talks with his customers.

This company is not good at all. They charged my credit card an extra $300 without telling me, did not send a receipt, notification or anything. Not even a phone call with an explanation of why they were trying to charge extra. I called them back (after I got my car in my possession) and George acted like they attempted to call me (which they did not). He said to me "You didn't the e-mail or phone call?" The day before this interaction I called my credit card company -USAA and reported it as fraud. He then put me on hold and said the charge had already been reversed and that I was all set. He most likely saw that USAA was investigating the charge as fraud and did not even attempt to explain the extra charge. This was only one of negative experiences I had with them in shipping my cars from Honolulu to Ohio. As I read through these other yelp reviews, I see other people have had some of the same experiences I did. Do yourself a favor and do not hire them!
