I cannot even begin to tell you how reassuring it was to see photos and videos of Moose playing and romping around in Golden Gate park and Alia's amazing backyard. Because of those regular updates we were able to really focus on our trip and let go of that worry. MOST importantly though.. we cannot say thank you to Alia enough. Moose is an 80+lb monster and we hadn't been the greatest at training him as much as we would have liked. He pulled, his recall was bad, and he lunged happily at new dogs a lot. NONE OF THAT EXISTS anymore. He stays when he's told, he doesn't pull, and he comes when called almost immediately. We were flabbergasted on our morning walk with him after coming home. Just wow. Alia, thank you thank you thank you thank you. You've not only given us peace of mind but you've given us a happier and more well behaved puppy. We're eternally grateful and so thankful for you.

We spent a lot of time and energy training her, and were very nervous to leave her in anyone else's care, but Alia and the rest of her team quickly put us at ease. Alia worked with us to understand and improve upon Kona's training, and she continues to lend us her professional expertise as Kona grows. Alia and her team are responsible, calm, and incredibly good at what they do. I know that they genuinely care about my dog, and she absolutely adores them. Plus, Alia works hard to go the extra mile for her clients. She maintains a very active instagram where we (and all of my friends and family across the country) go to check on Kona's day, she always sends updates and pics whenever we leave Kona for an overnight, and she truly takes the time to get to know us and our dog. After witnessing how well she takes care of Kona, my parents and my brother both hired her for their own pups, and now all the family dogs get to hang out a couple times a week at SF Doggers daycare. Alia is seriously a part of our family, and we would be lost without her.

I have only used DoggieWalks for dogsitting, so I can't speak to their walking services. My…read moreexperience has been in 2023. All but one of their reviews seem to be from several years ago, before the company changed ownership. It seems like this used to be a great company. Under the new ownership, it seems like a mismanaged company that can't be trusted -- at least for dogsitting. The dogsitter herself seems great and my two dogs really liked her. She watched my dogs at her place twice in 2023. The first time -- a short stay -- all seemed good. The second time -- a week and a half -- my dogs and all of their things (beds, leashes, toys, etc.) came back smelling disgustingly musty. It turned out that their beds were moldy! (They were not moldy before the dog sitting.) I had to bathe my dogs and wash their stuff twice to get the smell out. But I still had to throw out one of the dog beds because the mold would not come out. Luckily, my dogs haven't gotten sick from the mold (at least not yet). When I reported all this to the DoggieWalks administrator, her response was "not a problem." In addition, the billing and customer service leave a ton to be desired. Both times I used DoggieWalks, they tried to overcharge me. The first time, they sent me an invoice with an amount that made no sense. I wrote back to explain what I thought the total should be, based on their rates, and they wrote back to agree. They gave me instructions for paying by Venmo. It didn't seem like a big deal the first time. The second time, a few days went by and I had not received an invoice. I honestly wondered if they were delaying it because they were trying to figure out how much of a discount to give me due to the mold conditions. Nope -- several days after picking up my dogs, I got an email and a text from them asking me when I was going to pay the invoice that they had supposedly sent. Their email mentioned an amount but did not attach an invoice. I wrote back to say that I never got an invoice and I needed to see it before paying because the amount they mentioned seemed high. Later they emailed me not an invoice (which apparently didn't exist, despite their claims to have sent it to me), but screenshots from their system showing how much I owed. It was $120 less than the amount they had put in their email asking when I was going to pay! They didn't provide payment instructions, so I asked for them. The response was "Shoud be in your Venmo." What kind of customer service is that? Then they gave me a name that doesn't exist in Venmo (it's a person's name, not DoggieWalks). I had to write back for clarification before receiving the correct name to Venmo. The billing was finally straightened out, after 12 emails and texts back and forth, with no apologies, no explanations, no discounts offered. Use this company at your own risk...

Read if you have sometime on hand…read more I am mom to a Belgian Melinois gal. Her name is Sauli. She is one year old and finishing two as we go into April 2020. Her energy levels I cannot describe in words. But more than her energy is her personality. That like no other. She comes across too strong.. maybe needy even. She goes to alpha every living creature she has encountered. I surrendered way back.. lol But what stands out is her Love. She loves like no other. Extremely loving and maybe stubbornly so. She even loves on her own terms. I found her on a random app last year and rescued her from Wisconsin (originally Alabama). She was 11 months then. I was going through bouts of grief over my previous dog Romo. He passed away around this time last year. I needed her more than she needed me. Romo too a Belgian Malinois boy. But very different personality and very different energy. As soon as Sauli entered my Life I knew she would need a different set of hands. Maybe those that worked for Romo might not work for her. In a nutshell I was in-between dog trainers. So what about Andrew? Of corse! Last year while waiting for my uber I sensed Sauli jumping with joy. She is joyous usually.. but this was a different joy. I thought it was the dogs in a van that drew her attention. So I played along. But no.. it was not the dogs in the van. It was the dog-whisperer with them that Sauli had fallen in love with. That was Andrew. She found him herself. Her Pied Piper. Sauli needed some extra handling. And she got it in the right hands. I saw immediate calming effects in her after she started spending time with Andrew and his crew. Thing about Belgian Malinois' is that they are very connected to their humans. To the extent that their separation leads to them going through a lot of emotions. They take their Human very seriously. Thank you for everything VooDoo dogs. Voodooed my doggess indeed! Grateful!

Frankie does not like to leave me behind, but when he sees Andrew, Frankie greets Andrew with such love and makes a little "talking" sound that seems to be just for Andrew. I am so happy and confident seeing the relationship between the two of them. I met Andrew when he began taking two other young pups, in our building, for romps, play & exercise. At that time, I was still waiting for Frankie to arrive, and I already had a walker lined up, whom I had used for several years with my previous dog. When Frankie finally arrived and was old enough to go out on adventures, my former walker said he was eliminately the northern side of the City because of the heavy traffic. I was disappointed, and I reached out to Andrew who was more than happy to take on my young Frankie. This was a very unique situation in that Andrew was already coming to our building, and an added bonus, he will take on a puppy under 1 year of age (many walkers will not), and I have since discovered that Andrew is very much a dog-whisperer. I completely trust and feel comfortable and confident that Andrew is watching out for Frankie as well as watching out for the other beautiful dogs in his care. You may see Andrew's small school bus, painted a dark green, around the neighborhood and if you do, please stop and greet him, because you will understand immediately why dogs love to be with him and why dog owners trust him with their dogs. Andrew is personable, friendly, and above all PROFESSIONAL. I highly recommend Andrew...his rates are VERY reasonable.

I hopped online, asked around for referrals/recommendations and I was given the number for SF DOG BUDDY from a few different people. I was nervous when I called because this was going to be a last minute ordeal and I really dislike being "that person". I spoke with Gabe who is the owner of the company and he was insanely cool and incredibly understanding. I had the option of sending Enzo off on a group walk or scheduling a private session. The group walk was going to work for the time I needed to be out so after asking a myriad of questions (as any skeptical mom would do) I was feeling super confident and I went ahead and booked him. The icing on the cake? Gabe would swing by the house and pick him up. Fast forward two hours and I am back from my meeting, weird Buffalo Bill concerns are out the window, Enzo is home all tuckered out with a sweet grin on his face and I am eager to make this a regular thing when I am in the area. Next time however I am bringing the other dogs too. Hope he has room in the pack. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

He was a puppy then and had (and still does have) a lot of energy. She was great about finding the right tools to reign his puppy-ness while still giving him a great work out. She takes the dogs to Walter Haas, Douglas, and Bernal. Patti always lets us know if there are issues we should be aware of (important to us as H is our first "child" and we want to know these kind of details). I feel like she's protective of her dogs and looks out for them, something we really appreciate as we take H to various SF parks a lot and seen dog walkers/owners that are not as attentive and the consequences, dog scuffles/ears bitten, not good. Before Patti agreed to take H on, I think we went through a trial period to make sure he was compatible with her other dogs. We found that really reassuring as we didn't want H with dogs that didn't get along with him and risks for doggy scuffles. Patti is also very flexible and responsible with schedules. I can send her e-mails/voicemails and she always gets back to me. She comes when she's supposed to and when there's any uncertainty regarding our schedule she confirms.
