Rocket exploring with the SNIFF team
Zerah D.

My husband and I are so grateful to this whole team. Jim, Benny and the rest of their crew (Ben, Dan &Eleanor) have worked with our dog Rocket, and he LOVES them. We called them for our puppy training. We are first time dog owners and they were very knowledgeable. They gave us a bunch of tips which really helped us in training our dog Rocket. They are very flexible, which really helps when you're running late from work, they'll be more than happy to give your dog a late afternoon walk. We really enjoy the text we get after the dogs park visits. They're so fun to read, and just gives you a highlight of all the things you want to know about your dog's day out. At first, we were a little worried that a 2hr walk won't be enough for our high energy puppy to last the entire day, but we were wrong. He would be tired enough until the end of the day when we get home. We've boarded Rocket with them, and he thinks he's on vacation every time. Our dog's stomach seems to be on the more sensitive side, but Jim and Benny are always quick to respond to this situation whenever it happens. They also send you regular updates on how your dog is doing. We feel at peace when he's boarded with them because we know our dog is getting the best care. We had to move out of Noe Valley because we're expecting; but we definitely will still board our dog with them. We highly recommend SNIFF!

The pack (Roo, second from left)

We can't say enough amazing things about Sniff. Roo has been part of their pack for a year and a half and we've been so impressed by the level of care. Not only does she have a great time and get in a ton of exercise (as we get to watch every day on Sniff's IG Stories), but we've also seen so much behavioral improvement thanks to the Sniff team's dedicated training. They genuinely love and care for each dog, and have been an amazing support system - they went above and beyond when Roo was experiencing some scary health issues. We take so much comfort in knowing that Roo is in amazing hands whether it's during her weekday walks or boarding at Chez Sniff while we're out of town. Thank you to Benny, Jim, Dan, Ben and the whole Sniff crew!

Sniff has transformed the life of our little rescue pup Zorro, and of our entire family! From day one of meeting Jim and Benny, they offered numerous tips and advice for first time dog owners even before Zorro officially joined the pack! Being a rescue dog, we knew we wanted to invest in a dog walking crew that would put the extra time and care into reinforcing great behaviors and training experiences for little Zorro. We've been blown away by his transformation from an overzealous player with shakey recall, to a fun and respectful play pal to his entire pack and even little puppies! His favorite dog walker Dan, who he loves more than us probably, takes the time and care to send us daily texts with Zorro's park trip experience and shares incredible videos each day that give us a glimpse into how much fun and excitement he gets every day. We love Sniff so much, we're so lucky to have found them and have them part of Zorro's life!

It seems fitting that at St Patty's day I give thanks for finding a pot of gold like Sniff SF. Jim, Benny & Mike have been like family to me and my fur child. From day 1 they sat down with us and made us feel at ease in their presence. 9 months later and our union is even better. My cocker spaniel, Ruby, started out skittish around other dogs but has blossomed into such a social butterfly. We owe this GREAT transformation to these guys giving Ruby much MORE than a daily dog walk. I love that they never kennel the dogs or caravan them around. They walk to and from the local parks, giving her the best exercise and training a dog can get. My dog is living quite the life & it shows! You should see all the pictures, videos, texts & treats! I also boarded her at Christmas with them & she received the royal star treatment. I always trust that she's in the BEST hands & is treated like their very own fur child. This quality and professional team is the best choice in my opinion when choosing dog care. Thanks guys for being our lucky charms!

Juna's goodbye kisses with Ben

I have two high energy pit mixes whose leash reactivity had gotten worse in the past half year, and it had reached a point where it was unmanageable because they would start barking and lunging at other dogs even from a healthy distance. I met with a few trainers to get a sense of their methods and styles, and Ceslie felt like the best match because of how she took the extra time to know my dogs and understand their behavior before recommending a plan, compared to others who jumped into training without asking many questions. There was a noticeable difference in how my dogs responded to Ceslie after their first class. She was thoughtful in customizing a plan that fit their needs, from teaching proper corrections to reinforcing obedience to providing the right equipment. She also taught me how to be a better handler (something often overlooked in training!), and it's truly strengthened my relationship with my pups. We had weekly sessions over the course of a month and there has been significant improvement in my dogs' behavior. Walks are stress-free and enjoyable again because we're able to bypass other dogs without issues, their door etiquette has improved, and we're now slowly working on their separation anxiety (slow and steady process but we're making progress!). Ceslie has been incredibly supportive and responsive through it all and I'm very grateful for her guidance with what I thought was a hopeless situation. I'm now considering sending the pups to her daycare program!

"You don't train the dog; you train the handler."…read more This couldn't be more relevant having worked with Ceslie. To be clear, while I saw training results with my pup by day 2, I didn't realize how imperative it is for YOU to learn patience and consistently implement the training. Point being, you are a student, and Ceslie is an incredible teacher. Her experience and knowledge are obvious, but what's special is how quickly she identifies the issues and gets you on track, like day 1, it was uplifting. Ceslie gets it. She'll adapt to your style and help you get to that obedience baseline you want to see in your dog. She balances compassion with firm direction-- Ceslie's a pro. For context, my guy was 7 months old at the time, rescue, half German shepherd mix w/ HIGH ENERGY... oh, and 75lbs. While he's never shown aggression, he's a liability because he LOVES everyone-- favored meeting strangers over recall, jumps on people, would be a brat, throwing tantrums when given commands. I always wanted a dog, but I was overwhelmed. Within a month (mornings, 4 days a week), I hit baseline with my dog--- he recalls, he doesn't jump, most importantly, taught him to fetch so I could properly get energy out of him... such an immense amount of weight lifted. Proof of progress with pics (she sent me photos of training each day) TLDR; Ceslie rocks. Stop looking.
