@Gru_doggler and a v happy Mimi!!
Michelle S.

I was a first time puppy owner. I'm organized, so I read up, printed a puppy schedule, downloaded a potty training app. But nothing could have prepared me for how lost and overwhelmed I felt the first week with Gru. I suddenly had a baby 24/7! My apartment became a cell, with a cell mate who refused to use the toilet! I was losing sleep, and sanity! Then I scheduled 90 minutes with Aimee. She came to the apt, helped me dial in the setup. Gave me a no-nonsense schedule AND all the reasoning behind it. My pupper responded immediately!! I bet he felt that I was no longer anxious and overwhelmed. Aimee is a passionate expert and our sessions with her, whether a private one or at one of her puppy socials, is money VERY well spent. Now instead of being overwhelmed, I'm just overwhelmed with love for my lil Gru! xoxoxo

Aimee has been amazing with training our dog (via zoom). She has great tips and training videos and she truly is a dog whisperer. We did her puppy socialization zoom class and a puppy social and our pup has been progressing so much! One of the best things about Aimee is that she truly cares about the dog and the dog'a progression. 1000/10 would recommend the socialization class as well as the puppy socials with Aimee. She is incredible!

My crazy puppy is the one getting the treat, & the other one is staring at the treat. You can see how well they all listen to Aimee!

The entire team is AMAZING. They're consistently on time, incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and absolutely hilarious. The pictures, jokes, and stories they send throughout the day regularly have me falling off my chair laughing. Asher is a bit of an older gentleman, and they're so attentive to his individual needs, whether that means taking it easy on hot days or making sure he's socializing with other well-behaved pups in their carefully curated playgroups. And if you need proof of just how much these people love their dogs, when Asher was sick and spent a few days in the dog hospital, the entire Sniff crew sent him a get-well-soon gift. I can't even express how much that meant to me. I also travel often for work, and knowing Asher has a second home at Camp Sniff with Heather and her family takes an enormous mental load off my plate. The pictures of him adventuring around Fort Funston, hanging with his dog friends, and generally living his best life are priceless. They keep me completely updated on how he's doing, including immediately flagging anything that seems even slightly off. I never have to wonder whether he's safe, happy, or being loved. Asher is beside himself with excitement every time one of his walkers comes through the door and absolutely LOVES going to stay with Heather. It's an extraordinary feeling to know your dog isn't just safe and well cared for, but genuinely, deeply loved. That's what Sniff gives me every single day. I adore these humans and cannot recommend them highly enough. Five stars doesn't even begin to cover it!

Sniff played such a huge role in bringing out the best in our timid little rescue and making her into a confident, happy girl who loves to see her canine pals coming. We've had some fantastic dog walkers, including Josh who was so sweet and thoughtful with all of Hazel's quirks and charms, and are so grateful for Heather boarding Hazel and treating her like a member of the family. Thank you for all that you do, Team Sniff!

Every dog walker and employee is exceptional, treating our dog as their own. Special shout out to the amazing Wes (our first walker), Alex our interim and finally Grace (gonna miss your beautiful face and great commentary on the daily recaps). Hopefully with little Niko leaving it frees up a spot for some other lucky dog to have the best experience. Love you guys, forever thankful.

The entire team has shown incredible love, care, and professionalism every step of the way. They've not only given our dog years of fun, exercise, and socialization, but they've also helped us learn so much as dog owners. Every walker we've met has been warm, reliable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our dog absolutely adored their time with Citizen Hound -- the excitement when they arrived said it all. Knowing they were with people who treated them like family gave us complete peace of mind. They're more than just a dog walking service; they're a community of people who genuinely care. We'll always be grateful for the joy they brought to our dog's life, and to ours. If you're lucky enough to live in their service area, don't think twice -- your dog will thank you every single day.

Sometimes he even falls asleep in the hall by my feet when I'm chatting with Jill for a few minutes before she leaves. And of course, when we go on vacation, there's only one person Smokey stays with & that's Jill! As others have noted, Jill is super knowledgeable when it comes to providing advice or ideas on behavior. She also can be super flexible if you need her to take your pup for a full day or add him to a different day. But best of all: we just love how much she loves our Smokey. If you're an owner that loves your pup & wants him in the very best of hands when you're at work or on vacation, then call Jill!

Jill impressed me at the first meeting by being very professional, knowledgeable and flexible. I adopted Mabel on a Friday, Jill was over to meet her by Sunday, and was walking her on Monday. Jill knew that Mabel had little training, but was willing to supplement the obedience lessons we were working on. She was also a great resource for me as a new dog owner; providing tips, answers to my silly questions, and suggestions for additional training. Having someone come into my home and take the dog I so quickly fell in love with while I was at work all day was so hard the first couple of weeks! Having someone I trusted made all the difference in getting through the day. I also quickly learned how important it is to have a well exercised dog. I walk Mabel in the morning and evening, but she has a ton of energy and I credit her daily walks with Jill for keeping her early obedience and routine on track. And a tired dog, is a good dog! Jill encouraged me to come along with the pack a couple of times, and it was so fun to see her and all of the other dog walkers at Fort Funston in action. She clearly has a deep love for dogs, is responsible, and well respected amongst her dog walking colleagues. Jill has been walking and dog sitting for us for just over a year and I don't know what we'd do without her!

And now, after completing our first round of dog training, it is honestly hard to remember how much she used to pull on leash. Before we decided to get training, it had reached a point where we had started avoiding taking her out, which made us really sad. With a baby to manage now, an overexcited dog pulling on the leash had become too much to handle. After only two lessons, we took her back to our favorite pizza spot. It's a tight space with so many distractions and food temptations, and she stayed in a down the entire dinner. When we got up to leave, the people next to us literally said, "Wait, there was a dog here!?" Being able to include Kala in those outings again means so much to us. Thank you, Bryan!

Before training, we struggled with leash pulling, barking, lunging at other dogs, and nonstop chaos whenever someone came through the door. We were honestly at our wits' end. Everything changed after I saw Bryan in Jackson Square walking a calm, perfectly behaved pack of dogs. We started weekly family lessons in January 2026 with our dogs and our two 12-year-old daughters, and progress began almost immediately. Bryan quickly helped us realize the humans needed training too. With consistent coaching, support, and a board-and-train program, the transformation has been incredible. Our dogs are now well-behaved both at home and in public. We can comfortably walk them, take them to parks and outdoor restaurants, and genuinely enjoy being with them. Friends and family who knew our dogs before cannot believe the difference in their behavior. Thank you, Bryan. You really can teach old dogs new tricks.
