Our guy, Einstein the corgi, loves his daily adventures with SF Doggers.

I will keep this short and sweet -- our corgi is obsessed with the folks behind SF Doggers. Alia is calm, extremely kind, responsible, and radiates love for dogs. Our dog comes home visibly happy and tired from his daily adventures with SF Doggers. We also boarded our dog with Alia for a week this past January. It was the first time we left him with someone outside of a friend or family, and neither my partner or I had any reservations about leaving him with Alia. Alia kept us in the loop with how he was doing, and we were glad that our dog was clearly comfortable and content. We are SO happy we found SF Doggers!!!!

Alia is simply the best. We have been with her since she started and we are so happy she's a part of our dog Rusty's life (the huge shepherd with only one ear up). Prior to Alia, we used another dog walker who was fine for the first year or so, but eventually our dog started showing signs of apprehension when the dogwalker came to pick him up. Rusty is a classic devoted German Shepherd & we were told this was normal behavior, so we let it slide for six months before taking a chance with Alia's operation. That was the best decision we've ever made for Rusty & the difference was like night and day. Ever since, he happily trots off to walks with Alia, even doing so when we are home! To top it off, he does so with the greeting that he only shares for my partner and myself. He's obviously a huge fan, too. Alia clearly loves what she does. She has a connection with dogs that is few and far between. We are incredibly protective of our dog but we trust her (and Veronica, her wonderful employee) implicitly and have recommended her to many of our friends. If you can get in (she's often full bc, well, obviously) you're a lucky person & your dog is even luckier!

Harlow's best friend, the famous SF Dogger Kaiyō

SF Doggers = the dog whisperers! Harlow literally waits by the window every day, starting at noon, waiting for the SF Dogger camp truck to pick her up. Harlow loves Alia, Kaiyō, and the rest of the SF Dogger Crew, and she is a shy pup. Harlow was our first "real" dog and rescue. A cattle mix that is high energy, super shy with people, nervous with most surroundings, and has a lot of cattletude. We were always nervous that Harlow wouldn't be accepted into a dog pack because of her free spirit but Alia at SF Doggers has a love and understanding for working, high energy and misunderstood dogs. Her team is super experienced in what they do. Not only do they make sure all the dogs have their fun outdoor time, but they work on patience and socializing with each dog - they go above and beyond to make sure all the dogs have their commands down, so the whole pack is synced (and the pictures speak for themselves). Harlow has improved tremendously with her 1+ years of pack walks with Alia and the SF Dogger crew. Harlow is happier, more patient, confident, and social with other dogs. Not only is SF Doggers fun for your pup, but it will also make your day knowing your dog is having the time of their life by checking SF Doggers Instagram account and seeing the adorable dog photos and videos - I have gotten all my coworkers and friends hooked! We started with three days a week and quickly moved to five days a week with no hesitation because of how amazing the team is with Harlow. SF Doggers is also our first choice when we need to board Harlow since we know Harlow is in great hands, and we can go on travel nerve free. We are so grateful for Alia and the rest of the SF Doggers crew and highly recommend joining the pack! Harlow 100% approves this message.

Ceslie has been a game changer in my dogs' training journey. I highly recommend her to anyone who…read moreis considering a trainer. I have two high energy pit mixes whose leash reactivity had gotten worse in the past half year, and it had reached a point where it was unmanageable because they would start barking and lunging at other dogs even from a healthy distance. I met with a few trainers to get a sense of their methods and styles, and Ceslie felt like the best match because of how she took the extra time to know my dogs and understand their behavior before recommending a plan, compared to others who jumped into training without asking many questions. There was a noticeable difference in how my dogs responded to Ceslie after their first class. She was thoughtful in customizing a plan that fit their needs, from teaching proper corrections to reinforcing obedience to providing the right equipment. She also taught me how to be a better handler (something often overlooked in training!), and it's truly strengthened my relationship with my pups. We had weekly sessions over the course of a month and there has been significant improvement in my dogs' behavior. Walks are stress-free and enjoyable again because we're able to bypass other dogs without issues, their door etiquette has improved, and we're now slowly working on their separation anxiety (slow and steady process but we're making progress!). Ceslie has been incredibly supportive and responsive through it all and I'm very grateful for her guidance with what I thought was a hopeless situation. I'm now considering sending the pups to her daycare program!

"You don't train the dog; you train the handler."…read more This couldn't be more relevant having worked with Ceslie. To be clear, while I saw training results with my pup by day 2, I didn't realize how imperative it is for YOU to learn patience and consistently implement the training. Point being, you are a student, and Ceslie is an incredible teacher. Her experience and knowledge are obvious, but what's special is how quickly she identifies the issues and gets you on track, like day 1, it was uplifting. Ceslie gets it. She'll adapt to your style and help you get to that obedience baseline you want to see in your dog. She balances compassion with firm direction-- Ceslie's a pro. For context, my guy was 7 months old at the time, rescue, half German shepherd mix w/ HIGH ENERGY... oh, and 75lbs. While he's never shown aggression, he's a liability because he LOVES everyone-- favored meeting strangers over recall, jumps on people, would be a brat, throwing tantrums when given commands. I always wanted a dog, but I was overwhelmed. Within a month (mornings, 4 days a week), I hit baseline with my dog--- he recalls, he doesn't jump, most importantly, taught him to fetch so I could properly get energy out of him... such an immense amount of weight lifted. Proof of progress with pics (she sent me photos of training each day) TLDR; Ceslie rocks. Stop looking.

I'm find myself spending at least an hour in here because the staff love to show off their little critters and it's such a fun environment to be in. I've seen the store progress exponentially in the last 6 months. It's much cleaner and more organized every time I visit. I can tell the staff really cares for its animals and the local pets in the neighborhood.

The moment I walked in, the smell was overwhelmingly bad -- not your typical pet store scent, but something genuinely foul. The shelves were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned or organized in a long time, which didn't inspire any confidence. The selection was really limited, and even basic items were hard to find. The employees also weren't very welcoming or friendly; no greeting, no offer to help, just an overall cold vibe. What bothered me most was how sad the animals looked. A few of them seemed stressed or lethargic, and it was honestly heartbreaking. I love supporting neighborhood businesses, especially ones that care for animals, but this place needs serious attention and improvement before I could ever consider coming back.
