I swear I kill half the bug population on the causeway. I used Yelp to shop different installers in the Roseville area. Gold Wurks was one of the first to reply. GW has been installing PPF for over 20 years. I dealt mainly with Christine and she was very communicative about the services, products and timing. She worked with me on my schedule and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Her customer service was one of the reasons I chose GW. I felt she offered the fairest price for the most quality product: Xpel Ultimate Plus. Xpel is considered one of the leaders in PPF with 10 year warranty and self healing properties. Also they could do the install in one day. The protected the following: hood, fenders, front bumper, headlights, frontside of rear view mirrors, luggage strip on back bumpers and door edges. While the quality of the product is important, the quality of install is even more important. GW did an excellent job. The seams were clean and the ends were tight and nicely fitted. My pictures do not do their work justice. To that point, I hired a Detailer (also a PPF installer) to work on my car. That Detailer said they did a really clean install job. I also found out GW installs for a lot of the luxury dealers in the area like Volvo and Porsche. If you are looking for an excellent PPF installer that provides great customer service, look no further.

Unfortunately, I soon had a small blemish, and neither the dealer, nor another detail shop wanted to assist me. Nic recommended that we do a little touch up, and then use Xpel PPF on the front end. This is a very reputable product, offered by a small network of certified shops, and it carries a 10 year warranty. At no point did Nic try to hard sell me, and his cost for the work was extremely competitive. At no additional charge, he removed the thinner PPF that had been glued on at the dealer's vendor, touched up the blemish with the proper color, did an outstanding job applying the Xpel .. and then detailed the car. I had some concern because we were in the process of resurfacing our driveway, limiting my ability to use our garage. Nic kept the car garaged for me, and was flexible, so I would not need to bring it home during a storm. He kept me informed of progress, and when I got the car back, I felt like he took fantastic care of it. If I need additional services, this is going to be my first stop. The business has great integrity, their work is superb and customers are treated extremely well. Highly recommended.

End up with 50% on sides and 35% on rear and it matches what I had pictured. Originally, I was asking for 70 on sides and 50 on rear, and after talking to Tim, realized I was way off.

About two years ago I started taking my cars to bgi window tinting. I always thought the owner…read moreVadym was funny and stand up business owner. Over the course of the two years I knew Vadym I brought about twelve cars to him for tinting whether they were my cars, family, or company cars. It was relatively convenient for me being that he was in the neighboring business complex so I could drop off my car and walk back to work. When Vadym relocated his business I still continued to bring my cars to him even though the convenience was gone, but I was still impressed with his quality of work. In May of this year he called me one evening and asked me if I had a car that he could use to train his employees with and after sending him a couple of options of cars that I wasnt driving we agreed on my 2002 Volkswagen Jetta. Vadym initially stated that he would only need the vehicle for training for about a week and that when he was done he would fully tint the entire vehicle for free. Leaving the vehicle with him wasn't an issue since I wasn't driving this car at the time. After I dropping off the car I followed up with him a week later and he claimed that he was super busy and wasn't able to work on it. This wasn't an issue for me at the time and I figured he can take his time and when it's done it's done. I travel practically every week for work so my time home is limited and I didn't worry to much about the car because I thought it was in good hands. Fast forward three months later to August and I still hadn't heard from Vadym about the car and I randomly get a text message from Vadym stating that I need to pickup the car because his property manager is upset that the car was left outside in the parking lot this whole time when he told me he would park it inside his building. Vadym reached out to me August 19th and at the time I was traveling to Seattle for with and I wouldn't be home till August 21st. I had asked him if the car was ready to be picked up and he wouldn't give me an answer and eventually told me it wasn't ready. At this point I'm thinking wow he's had the car for three months and can't tint five windows. I didn't pick up the car because he said it wasn't ready and I went on another work trip to San Diego. While on my trip I was informed by my sister that I had received a lien notice on the car. The car had been towed from his property and he never mentioned a word about it to me. Based off of the dispatch paperwork from the tow company it was towed prior to him telling me that it still wasn't ready for pickup. Since I was traveling I had to call upon my 64 year old father to go and retrieve the vehicle for me and pay $1400 to the towing company for storage and penalties. When I informed Vadym of the situation he acted surprised and assumed I had the car even tho he still possessed the keys. He made promises to take care of everything and pay the penalties, but when it came down to it he folded and claimed it wasn't his fault and refuses to pay for it. I say all this to hopefully spare anyone from being foolish enough to trust a man who conducts himself in this manner and encourage people to take their business elsewhere as I now have. This is a shady business run by a morally questionable sorry excuse of a man. I attached all the photos of what the car looks like now and the half assed work done by Vadym and his workers along with the messages between us. Hopefully someone learns from my mistakes and not trust this man or business with their vehicles.Just to give an update, after posting a review Vadym texted me. I thought maybe he was gonna rectify the situation like he said he would, but instead he threatened me with his lawyer for simply leaving a review. Please see the attached photos below with the messages and the condition of the car when I received it back.

As someone who has experienced cancer and have had several important people pass in my life due to cancer, it meant a lot to me to support a local business who has common values. I had emailed Ryan and he was super prompt and helpful. I have a crazy schedule and he dealt with my multiple requests and schedule changes. Josh helped me pick the right level of tint and walked me through the process. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I picked the 3M Ceramic IR tint ($600). I had to change my pick up date and time several times. Ryan and his team were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their lightening fast responses and call backs, were much appreciated. The results were absolutely fantastic and exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond to fix all my horrible scratches and dings. I received other quotes but they were either competitive and "dry" in personality/care to schedule or simply outlandish in cost. I decided to go to Bryan and was sent the invoice for deposit. Paid over $500 for ceramic coating and interior service and unfortunately left disappointed with…read moreboth the quality of the work and the way the concerns were handled afterward. I dropped the vehicle off at 8:45 AM and was called for pickup before noon. As I walked up to my vehicle at the shop, I immediately noticed visible bugs and contamination still left on the exterior after the ceramic coating service, water spots on surfaces, and multiple interior areas that were still dirty or missed entirely. I took photos immediately after pickup to document everything clearly. When I contacted the shop privately first and sent the photos, I was later told the $150 "interior detail" only included a wipe-down, vacuum, and mat wash. In my opinion, that is more of a basic cleaning service than what most customers would reasonably expect from an interior detailing package at that price point. Even for a simple wipe-down and vacuum service, there was still visible dust and debris left in areas like the trunk mat. I've had professional detailing and ceramic coating work done before, so I understand what proper prep work and finish quality should generally look like. This experience did not meet those expectations. What disappointed me most was the response afterward. Instead of professionally addressing the concerns shown in the photos, Bryan T. (Business Owner) called me "A PROBLEM" for speaking up about the quality of the work. If the work had been done properly from the beginning, there would not have been a problem to discuss in the first place. I never demanded a full refund or anything unreasonable. I simply wanted the concerns acknowledged and handled professionally. The shop later refunded $100 for the interior concerns, but the conversation eventually became personal and unprofessional, including remarks attacking my disability status that had absolutely nothing to do with the service itself.
