So, I recently got a new car and wanted to make some modifications to it. Tinted windows got done right when I purchased it, and I wanted to get the headlights and taillights treated in a gloss black. I've never made any modifications to any car I've owned in the past, so I really have no frame of reference for pricing and material. Marcus is someone who takes pride in his work and has excellent attention to details. I brought a 2021 Tesla Model Y to get a ceramic glass roof tint at 70%. I had all of the other windows tinted yet forgot about the roof. Summer is coming and the roof has been a problem area for me. I needed the job done asap. Marcus explained to me his experiences with other Teslas and how he likes to make sure his work is perfect. The job took a day and he informed me of the process. There was some things he didn't like but when I looked it at I thought it was fine. For example he explained there will be some scratches, kinks, and water stains. The scratches were minor and looked like they were from the outside. This car has been driven all over California. There was one kink but it was near the back seat. I don't sit there, so it's not a big deal to me. I tried taking a photo and it doesn't show. The water stains were unavoidable because we weren't sure if the side panels can come off and agreed to not take them off. I have a photo. It's not noticeable unless you're really looking. Overall I think this was a good tint job given how large the glass roof is and what I really cared about was lowering the internal temperature of the car. There were no air bubbles and it's very smooth besides that one kink. Again, the kink isn't within my view and the back passenger probably won't notice it because it's towards the edge. The tint is worth it, especially if you travel and do outdoor activities. read more

I ended up coming to MTS for an odd job, doing an amber overlay over some headlights. Some tint shops I called didn't know how to tackle it. But alas, MTS said they could do it, gladly. Now, I am extremely picky when it comes to my cars. I know where every (tiny) scratch is, I know the way I want it to look, I keep it clean 24/7, yatta yatta yatta--I have never seen such precision and care taken for, admittedly, a small job. The area covered was perhaps 12 square inches. Well, the owner (Marcus) took obvious care making sure the lights were prepped, the lines were perfect, and the vinyl was properly applied. Marcus was even pointing things out to me (picky as I am) I would never notice, to make the job look even better. I cannot recommend MTS enough for any work they may do for you. Great place! I had my friend get his windows and taillights tinted here a few years ago and he was very happy with the outcome, so I booked two different appointment with them to do the same thing. I live about 40 minutes away and am only in Folsom on the weekends, so it was hard to book an appointment since they are closed Saturdays and Sundays. But the owner was very helpful and agreed to stay longer than he usually would on both occasions in order to work on my car. My first appointment (6/26/2015) was for tinting all my windows except the windshield, and the second one (7/16/2015) for tinting my taillights. I'm very happy with the job done and the prices are very reasonable. The owner works with you and if you aren't happy with the outcome, all you have to do is tell him so. My boyfriend had gotten his car done here last year and he has been extremely happy with it and I recently took my car in to get my windows tinted and have been very happy so far. The tint comes with a lifetime warranty and they honestly have fair prices. The only thing I didn't love was the scheduling. It was slightly unclear when it would be ready since they said they had a couple other cars to do that morning, but when I got in for my appointment it seemed as if I was the first one there and they just started on mine rather than waiting for the other customers with earlier appointments. During each conversation, their employees were polite, professional, and very informative, thoroughly answering all my questions and addressing all my concerns. Upon arriving for my appointment, my vehicle was thoroughly inspected and I was assured that it would be returned to me in the same condition. And, indeed, it was returned to me in excellent condition---I observed zero scuff marks or scratches on the lower door panels, sill plates, seat backs, or other interior surfaces. Furthermore, there were no dried watermarks on the door panels or other interior panels because they protected the interior with plastic sheeting. Finally, they rightfully did NOT wipe down the exterior of the vehicle, which creates microscopic scratches in the clear coat (i.e., swirl marks). Concerning the installation of the window film (Geoshield ProNano Ceramic), their workmanship is truly superb. From the filed door edges (my vehicle has frameless doors) to the absence of dust, dirt, bubbles, and other imperfections, the window film looks excellent despite not being fully cured. In closing, I highly recommend Marvelous Tint Solutions. I recently had the windows tinted on my wife's vehicle by another shop that was purportedly a reputable shop with a favorable rating on Yelp. However, the difference in experience between these two shops was night and day! I got my Corvette tinted last week by Marcus in 5% tint and he did an incredible job. The tints outline is very clean and looks as if it came from the factory. My previous tint had rough edges and contamination but Marcus was able to install the tint perfectly. There's no air bubbles or contamination and the tint looks great. The pricing was also very reasonable and very affordable. I had called a few other shops in the area and one shop quoted me 450$. When I called marvelous tint solutions, Tiffany answered my call and quoted me 200$ which included the 25$ deposit as well. She was then able to book me the next available appointment and once the car was done she told me how to care for the tint and answered any questions I had. I had a great experience with marvelous tint solutions, their customer service skills are great and will not give your car back until it is perfect.
