Went to Island Sounds at the Swap Shop to have some speakers and an Amp installed in my sons Dodge Challenger. Island Sounds blew my amp, rigged up my system so bad that it sounded like crap, and I couldn't even use the Bluetooth phone connect. These assholes even had the nerve to get mad at me when I asked what was going on with the amp that was working before they touched it. After the Swap shop disaster I met up with Gee and Brandon at Exotic Sounds. We took the car to them for a professional install. Had to buy a new amp to replace the blown one, and the install took longer because they had to redo all the crap done by Island Sounds. It wasn't cheap, but the difference is night and day. Went from twisted wires all over the place to shrink wrap, soldered connections, and a fully working system that looks factory installed. Now we got hella highs, nice mids, and bangin bass ! Bottom line, I went to the Swap Shop to save money but that ended up costing even more because of the damage they did. So if you want your system done right, stay away from the cheap guys who cut corners and don't know what they are doing. For quality, craftsmanship, even custom work, go see Gee and Brandon at Exotic Sounds. They ain't cheap, but the bump will be worth the bite ! read more

This location is the personification of 5 stars. The owner G. and his son Brandon are very sharp, astute, and extremely knowledgeable about car audio systems. They repaired my issue in a few hrs and gave me a lifetime warranty on the service provided. I requested them to fix my subwoofer and amp combo that at times would reset and not come back on. They not only fixed the issue but gave me better wiring, a better configuration, and a more stable situation for my vehicle. The value was excellent and worth the money. I respect good work and will ensure to continue to work with these gentleman from today forward. Thank you! read more

G and Brandon are fantastic. They initially corrected a competitor's mistake, then added to the system which made it perfect. They knew what to do the minute I explained the issue and offered the right equipment to enhance the sound of my Jeep. Next they corrected the installation of a dash camera for my wife and she is extremely happy that it is finally working correctly. Finally we returned for the third time and they installed a dash camera, wolfer and amp to my daughter's car. She could not be happier with the upgraded sound. Yes, this is the place to get work done right the first time. They stand behind their work and offer a great price. I tell everyone that I know about them and we will be back. read more

I wanted to install the new Compustar Pro T13 Remote Starter kit on my 2017 Genesis G90 Ultimate sedan and in the West Palm Beach area, there are only two authorized resellers/installers for this system - Tint World and Exotic Sounds & Stereo. I chose Exotic Sounds as they were closer to my home, and by luck, it happened to be the right decision! First off, installing this remote starter system on a Genesis G90 is rare; hence, there is not a whole lot of actual experience amongst the installers who performed this work - and that includes Compustar's technical support team! Exotic Sound's in-house Compustar-certified technician, Erick, took on this job even though he has never performed this work on this specific Genesis model. It took him over 8 hours trying to figure out the issue - and that is with multiple Compustar technical support staff trying to troubleshoot the problems with him. In fact, I had to come back a second day and that was when Erick was able to finally complete the job. Compustar technical support and Erick finally determined that it was a re-flashing issue during one of the installation steps...don't really know. Nevertheless, Exotic Sounds did not charge me extra for the huge labor hours that Erick did on this job; they honored the original quote. Huge kudos to Erick for his determination in seeing this job through successful completion! Because of this kind of effort, I highly recommend Exotic Sounds in West Palm Beach and Erick to do any install service with regards to the Compustar remote starter system. They even price-matched an extra T13 FOB that I added to my system based on an online price. Given all the challenges that Erick had to endure during this install, I don't believe the Tint World technicians can even finish it based on what I've heard from folks who dealt with them. With that, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Exotic Sounds & Stereo! read more

After the fees and hassle the _"lifetime warranty" _ g' claims you have ( the "lifetime warranty" ) with the work? = ITS NOT TRUE!! They use just that, and just that to follow-up and knock-u in the head for 1000s of dollars worth of additional income for them when you return to their shop to address the issue's at hand. read more

I FEEL BRAND NEW !!! You can trust these guys with all your sound system needs !!! I'm a very happy customer!!!! As always!!

Needed a backup camera installed in my 2002 car. Called several auto audio stores in the area but none were interested in doing the install ... until I contacted Gee at Exotic Sounds. He gave me a time and very fair price estimate and I made the appointment for the next day. The backup camera is working perfectly and the wire is completely hidden from front to rear. Gee is friendly, patient, gracious, and accessible. I highly recommend Exotic Sounds. read more

I was referred to "mr G" through another installer. Basically. If you want good service and good quality install. Use these guys. All connections soldered and taped. Quality. Install. Friendly. And not at all trying to sell me unnecessary equipment. You will pay more her but that's for quality. I'll take that anyday. Thank you for the new unit in my mustang. Go here and get it done. They know what they are doing. Btw I've installed my own radios for 30 years. Brandon and his dad are good to go! read more

Exotic Sounds - Mustang GT - Car Stereo Installation Near Me - West Palm Beach, Florida

I went to this shop because I was referred to by many. I have to tell you "G" is a cool dude. GREAT SALESMAN. But the quality of work Is DIY from a YouTube installer. I'm VERY PISSED AT THE QUALITY WORK & The amount of money I've spent for his "TOP QUALITY" WORK. I wouldn't recommend him at all. Don't even bother wasting your money. read more

I took my son's 99' Lexus GS30 here to have a complete sound system upgrade and I was very please with the staff and the service they provided. The staff was very friendly and the owner was awesome. The owner took the time to explain how the radio works to my 17 year old son and They also did an excellent job installing an Alpine amp and Alpine 12's in the trunk of his car. Ican't wait for them to upgrade my sound system in my show car next. I can't thank you guys enough for the excellent service and I will be back. read more

I have literally had an issue with every purchase/installation done at this shop. I do not recommend going here. I'm sitting on unanswered texts, bad headlights, bad underglow lights, and speakers that I had to go back to their shop on numerous occasions to get "fixed." Any deadline this shop gives you - you should take with a grain of salt. Each time I dropped my truck off they gave me their word it would be done by a specific time - which was never kept. Do yourself a favor and find another shop. This place isn't worth the hassle. Vehicle: 2016 Ram 1500 Installations: 1. 2 amps, second battery, 2 10s and new speakers all around... had a brand new amp go bad immediately, which then had to wait almost 2 months to get a replacement. Also have had issues with hearing awful feedback when hitting bumps. Sent videos showing the issue just to be told they don't know why. 2. HID headlights/fog lights + Rock Lights (under glow). These headlights don't always turn on, and when I brought up the issue I was told that "water can cause them to act strange." We live in Florida, don't recommend or install a product that rain can interfere with. 2 of my underglow lights burnt out within a week and I can only use certain colors now. Again - was told that water is an issue here. They said they ordered a replacement but its been weeks and I haven't heard a thing. I have receipts and texts to show how bad this place ended up being. Don't be fooled by all the reviews like I was - seriously just go somewhere else. read more
