My dealer said ... that 2006 C230 did not come with Sirius, you can't add it, unless you get a seperate receiver from Circuit City. Technicar did the job, with OEM (original Benz) parts and had it in the car back in time to be delivered.
My dealer said ... we cannot add Sirius to that brand new ML, it had to be ordered that way. Technicar did it! The vehicle then went to another dealer up the road and they were baffled at seeing something that "could not be done."
The Ferrari guys next door said "you can't add a back up camera to that California". Low and behold, Technicar proved them wrong ... again. They added that camera and when I put the car in reverse, there was everything I couldn't see behind me in the mirror playing out like a movie on the factory nav screen.
Mercedes said, you can't start the car remotely from the original key fob. Technicar not only proved it could be done, they brought over an S Class to me and turned it on from an Iphone!
When I first met with Rob and Ray, I didn't have much confidence in them. I thought to myself, damn these guys must be out of their minds. They claim to do things that even the dealer says can't be done. Then I went by there shop to see some of the work they had going on. After seeing the quality of work these guys put out, I was sold. I figure any shop that's trusted to do work on an Aventador surely has my interest.
It's not everyday or just anyone, that I will back when giving a recommendation, but these guys have earned it. I've referred other business associates to them and have always gotten back nothing but positive feedback.
Any Joe with a roll of wire and some carpeted wood can give you some "audio advice". Guys that can install subs and an amp are dime a dozen down Military Trail, all the way down to the Swap Shop in Ft. Lauderdale. But it takes real talent, expertise and dedication to properly intergrate OEM and aftermarket electronics into today's high end vehicles, both luxury and sports cars.
Make no mistake, the work these gentlemen put out will by far meet or exceed your expectations. And, when not 1, not 2, but 3 different dealers tell you, "it can't be done", give the guys at Technicar a call. I've learned from personal experiences that "no" doesn't mean "no" when the dealer tells you. No means call Technicar because our parts changers we call techs can't do the job, but they can.
