I recently had my Honda Accord tinted here with LLumar FormulaOne Stratos. The installation quality itself was excellent, but I left feeling misled during the product selection process. When comparing tint options, the installer only showed me CTX and Pinnacle in noticeably lighter shades, while Stratos was shown in a darker shade. This created the impression that Stratos was the only film available in the darkness I wanted, even though all LLumar lines come in the same shade percentages. Because of this presentation, I ended up choosing the most expensive option without realizing that CTX or Pinnacle in the same shade would have looked similar and cost significantly less. I came in yesterday to have my car tinted. The back windows already came with colored glass but still let a lot of sunlight, straight into my baby's eyes in her rear car seat. This is disappointing to have to write a bad review. I chose Tint King based on the great reviews across Yelp and other review platforms. Making an appointment was super easy. The young lady working the phones and front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. I dropped my wife's car off at noon for a complete tint job including the windshield. I was told it would be at least two hours. I hadn't heard anything by 4:30 and decided to call since they were closing at Five. I paid well over $400 (for non-ceramic excluding the windshield) and used the Yelp check-in $10 discount offer. Upon leaving the parking lot the instrument cluster alerted me that the vehicle hood was popped. Which I thought was odd they would have to pop the hood to do window tint. I was able to shut it while waiting at a stop light. Later in the evening I was doing an oil change and noticed the battery positive terminal cover was popped off and loose. Again, thinking that was odd - why would they mess with the battery to do window tint. I also found an interior light was left on and there was tint scraps inside the right front footwell. Fast forward a couple days later and the battery is completely dead. I had to purchase and install a new battery. I assume putting all the pieces together, they must've let the battery drain while doing the tint and had to jump start the car afterwards. Not cool at all. I needed some tint work on my truck, but I will be taking it elsewhere after this unfortunate experience. read more

I took my brand new Toyota Corolla sedan to Tint King to have the windows tinted. As others have said, they did an outstanding job. However, once I got home and opened the back door to get something, I noticed the back seat (Macadamia/Mocha two-tone fabric) was stained. It looked like someone had left a filthy, wet rag on the seat--the light "Macadamia" section. Thank goodness the grime came off with upholstery cleaner. The point is that there seems to be no "quality control" after the fact by someone other than the installer. A business of this caliber and reputation should have noticed and cleaned the soiled seat before delivery. read more

I came to Tint King because of the positive reviews. I was quoted $349 for tinting on my Tesla Model 3. Kind of pricey right, well let's consider that the whole top of the car is glass so you might expect that it would cost the same as a Full Size SUV. See image below. Also I was getting Pinnacle ceramic tint which does typically cost more. When I arrived let me know that that the windshield would be extra...$150 more. Well ok windshields aren't normally tinted but now we're at $500 for tinting. After the work had already been started and only after I asked did they clarify that only the back part of the roof was included. To include the other canopy window was another $100. Not cool. When I questioned it they explained it is a difficult car to tint and they don't normally tint the whole canopy. Really? That doesn't make any sense. The point of tinting is to keep heat out. Leaving a large opening untinted defeats the purpose. So considering the entire top of the car is glass that somebody would not include that in the price to tint the vehicle especially when I had pointed out that I had the model with the full glass canopy on the phone seems like a miss to me. To managements credit they did take $50 off the job (about 8%) but still tough to digest the bait and switch. If you choose to have your car tinted here my advice is to clarify the scope of the work. When I picked up noticed that the edge of the window was cut uneven on the drivers window. Not that anyone except me will ever notice. Also there were lots of little moisture bubbles. I called to get my tint replace my back window because it was bubbled up and the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude. She said I had to come Monday through Friday because that's when they do the warranty work.
