Horrible Horrible Horrible! I visited this nail salon a couple of years ago and received poor service. The nail tech was rude and her work was sloppy, so I vowed to never return. However, today I went again. I thought I would give them another chance. Really, the only reason I went is because they were the only shop in my neighborhood that wasn't overcrowded, due to guidelines given my the governor, to close all shops again, effective 7/14/20, due to Covid. Anyhow, the lady doing my Pedicure did a rushed job. She skipped a couple of steps, and used the wrong gel polish. By the time I looked down, she had already finished one foot and the big toe of the other foot. When I informed her that she used the wrong gel color, she used that electric filer to remove the polish, which burned my toes and cause a cut on two of them. She then used acetone to rinse the feet, which caused my foot to burn like the burn you'd feel if you applied alcohol to a cut. When I told her my foot was burning, she just patted my toe. She then applied the uv lamp to the gel which also caused a burning sensation. I told her once more that my foot was burning and she looked as if she turned the temperature of the lamp down. I kind of felt like my toes were numb but couldn't really tell. After leaving I continued to monitor my toes which currently look a little purple, probably due to bruising. I will never return to this nail shop and I don't recommend anyone else visit. read more

Horrible service!! I made appts for 3 of us and when we got there 5 mins early (our appt was at 9:30a which is same time they opened) they already had people in chairs and not enough manicurists. So we had to wait. There is no sense in making appts then. My daughter who was 3 chairs away, they decided to put a design on her toes for more money without asking me and not too mention my daughter couldn't understand her. My pedicure was horrible, a 5 year old could of done a better job. The side of my foot is cut from the pad they use to get all the dead skin off and she spent a whole 10 mins on me maybe cause they were starting to get busy and wanted to get people in. Like any nail salon some of the workers can be very rude because every time I go with my mom who doesn't speak English they get an attitude with me like I'm only trying to help my mother. For about 10 minutes she kept trying to make it stop bleeding. This place is garbage and will never be back. It was nice and relaxing but the polish she used was old and she had to add toner to "un thicken it" I didn't like that very much because my nails didn't come out looking too cute. They are slow and I can honestly say that they don't do well at all. I came in on a slow Sunday needing a pedicure; gel acrylic on the big toes and the medium package($38). Both my sister in law and I got pedicures. We all have to say that we are EXTREMELY happy with the services rendered!!!! My daughters nail tech went out and beyond to make sure my baby girl was comfortable, relaxed and pleased with the end results. I highly recommend Exotic Nails if you're looking for a new place. This is the first time I write a review because Van did such an amazing job. When I showed her the picture I wanted for my nails she was super helpful in showing me options of the nail colors I could choose from to best match the picture. She paid attention to every detail when it came to length, color and shape. Super helpful. It's been about 2/3 weeks and my nails still look amazing and although they have grown out, they do not get caught in my hair thanks to her amazing job. read more
