So I stopped at my cleaners and next door to it is a nail shop. Since I needed a manicure for Valentine's Day i decided to stop in. They were cleaning and very nice. They normally closed on Monday but they invited me and my puppy I was carrying inside. The guy told me where to sit and I told him what service I was looking for manicure with a buff no polish. The young lady name Kayla came over after finishing what she was doing and started my service. She was nice, thorough, and did exactly what I asked for even better because she oiled me up pretty good so I wouldn't be ashy...lol!!! Definitely a great experience and I will be back!!! read more

Kayla always helps me pick the colors I want for my nails. She's really sweet and does a great job! This place is a hidden gem, nestled in the corner of a strip mall off of Paramount. the nails they are good but when they start to shape them they don't turn out good. I got my nails done last week and I asked for square and they made them coffin looking and yesterday I was taking my nails off and it ripped my real nail off so now I don't have a nail on my pinky and the Acrylic is very much stuck in their and she cut me and she didn't clean it. so In my opinion I don't really like that place. but the vibes there are good. read more

I've been coming to see Mimi for over 5 years now. I've had a gel manicure but I go for my full acrylic gel nails coffin shaped. She's great, Kai does a great job cleaning my cuticles before Mimi does my nails! She is the only one at the shop who does full sets and fills but she is worth the wait. I love Exotic Nails has all the newest nail trends and color. I love my white fairy dusted nails Thank you Mimi read more

This is my first experience at this nail salon, but where Kayla is , I am there! She has been my nail tech for a good time and honestly her attentiveness to her clients is impeccable and she is extremely personable. Even people coming in, she is constantly greeting with her happy personality. That was what drew me to Kayla and of course her detail to my nails. The salon itself is nice and clean and not chaotic like other nail salons. All staff were friendly and I enjoyed the complimentary water given at my visit. Give this place a visit! Very rude workers and charged me $100 for a gel and meni pedi, worst workers I have ever been around

I called Exotic nails and Spa early morning Saturday and I was able to get in as a walk in at 9am. I was assisted by Kayla for my gel pedicure. Kayla was such a delight. She was so sweet and def had good customer service skills. We talked as if we've been friends. She made me feel comfortable and offered water which I loved. She even added a a bit of acrylic to insure I was able to keep a nice square shape since one of my big toe nails had broke. Def recommended! read more

I tried this nail salon because of yelp and was hesitant because of the mixed reviews in regards to customer service however I had a great experience. I called five days in advance to make an appointment with Mimi. I walked in and was immediately greeted and sat down to get my pedicure started while Mimi finished up with her previous client. The man who did my toes did a great job. They have the best massage chairs I've ever sat in hands-down. Once I sat down with Mimi she was very friendly & my nails came out great. * update. 5/10 nails broke off before my next fill. Many cracked and kept getting caught in my hair. One broken off as I braided my hair. No crazy activities. Super annoyed. Cheap prices obviously reflected in product. Won't be going back. read more

Mimi is dope. She's super attentive and in tune with her customers' needs and wants. She goes above and beyond to make sure that the desired style and look is achieved, she takes her time to insure symmetry, and she even has been doing it for so long that she gives great suggestions on varying tones of colors to best match your complexion!! She takes her time when applying gel and uses extreme precision so it spreads evenly, doesn't spill over past the cuticles, and there are no gaps. I am new to this shop, but I definitely will be coming back because I get a perfect set of nails with the perfect shape and perfect thickness, not to mention I have yet to break a nail after leaving there! read more
