Been coming to the suites for the Thursday drag shows for years. A very laid back neighborhood bar/ club with a friendly staff. The owners are always there and very accommodating. Our favorite bartender Scott makes a nice cocktail served with a smile. This is a wonderful gay bar without all the pretentious attitudes you find in weho. Prices for the drinks are also reasonable. So friendly staff, good drinks that are not over priced and fun Rupual Drag Race Queen every Thursday. What more can you ask for. read more

Saturday night @ the Executive Suite where the dranks are strong&hella cheap and the ladies are Fine-well if only you had more than enough to drank--mind ya that disclaimer ha!!! I always find myself coming here may I be in OC or SFV cuz being Gay and of course humble LBC is where it's at yo.. Beats on da dance floor Hmmm it's you know different more like the best of the 90s--some reggae tone and um some stuff that you would never listen-ever in ya life but it's okay cuz they playing it here--now and it's just right ha.. They don't allow hats here no mo boooooo!! Cuz we like hats and we cannot lie!! Get yo pool game on--its a $1 and allow you some time to Bottom Up @ the downstairs bar and people watch... Every Night is amazing and all three levels are open now.. Usually Karaoke downstairs and the big party is upstairs. If you want to see girls come Saturday Nights.. eVERY SATURDAY is a lesbian Night. Sugar Saturdays they do a little show at 11pm.. Always free before 10 pm not texts needed.. $7 after .. I went here thinking that it would be fun because online it said there were three floors, dancing and karaoke. They were having Furry Night and I thought that sounded fun. I don't really like cover charges but oh well. After going inside I realized i was not going to be a fan of karaoke on the first floor since the big blue wolf was singing something I didn't care for. Plus it was absolutely freezing. I went upstairs to bar and ordered double margarita without thinking about price. $25! Ouch. But it was very good. I was thirsty so I asked for a glass of water. I was very surprised to find out that they will not serve you water. However, they did sell me and expensive bottle of water. That night I found the music annoying. I was still freezing to death and couldn't find a third floor. I decided to leave and before I got 5ft, a man introduced himself as the owner and informed me that the bottle of water could not leave the building. He said that was a law. Seems ridiculous. After walking out there was a patio area outside and down stairs where a lady was selling delicious smelling tacos. I went down and bought some. They were delicious. However, while on the patio there were very large furries who were drunk and stumbling all over. I was afraid of being injured they were so large in their costumes and so obnoxious ramming into everyone. They on on dirty filthy costumes and I was being bumped into so much I was filled with anxiety. I'm only 5'1" talk and got out of there ASAP. The only saving grace was the lady selling tacos. Never found a third floor. read more

Alberto is the best waiter around town. He really knows how to remember your name and take care of you. The drag shows are 1000/10 when you go on a night that Nomi B is a host. I love this spot so much!! read more

Had a fun night out in Long Beach celebrating a few birthdays . There was not much of a crowd and took a while for the atmosphere to pick up . The bartenders were all friendly and outgoing. I usually go to a different club for ladies night , might visit Executive again to see if it was just a Slow night . read more

Was here recently for a friend's b-day party on a friday night. Cover was $10, and the drinks were about $7 each. It wasn't very crowded, but some of the guys there were on X or something and kept bumping into us and not apologizing... annoying dicks. There was not a whole lot of attractive girls in the club. One of the go-go dancers had a huge gut too. gross! read more

$5 cover, and you get to see some of your favorite drag queens, what more can you asks for? I went here with my Bestie, who was visiting from Colorado. He told me about this place and we gave it a try. Drinks are pretty reasonable, the show was fantastic, some of the best queens I've seen since moving here. Came here with my two friends, greeted at the door with masks on (vaccinated; but not asked at entrance for proof). We go to the bar and get drinks and no tables are available so we go to the open space on the pool tables and listen to the Karaoke night and we get scolded as we drink our drinks by the owner (white guy) (same person that greeted us in) he also happened to be singing karaoke without a mask he told us to wear our masks and brings up his mother being sick from Covid while we are in his bar (sipping on our drinks) not sure how we could do both. He looked intoxicated himself as he was saying this, Immediately after we get KICKED OUT. He yelled at us on the microphone what he felt & the points he brought up weren't at all fair to say outloud in a bar with intoxicated people. We paid our drinks and couldn't drink them in peace let alone choose to fix our seating arrangements. read more

This is hands down the best bar in Long Beach. Everyone is incredibly kind, the drinks are amazing, and the dancers are incredibly AMAZING. I've been a gay man my whole life and these women go go dancers made me think twice. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! Our karaoke dj was also the most charismatic, amazing, talented dj I've ever encountered at a bar as well. Can't wait to come back! (Also, there's food here as well!) read more

Horrible service!! and the owners and bar tenders have nasty attitudes! Went back with my husband after COVID closed it down for more than a year,and were so excited to finally go out to a gay dance bar in our neighborhood and were treated rudely and were given so much attitude from mostly everyone! (No hellos no welcome back I was vaping and owner came up to me and yelled at me and said pointing his finger in my face! NO VAPING IN MY CLUB!!and bar tender after ordering a drink instead of saying hi guys! Said straight out put your mask on or no service! Well how do you drink a cocktail with your mask on?? I've been social distancing and it's been a bad year for everyone however I'm in the service industry as well, and Im so great full for my clients I know we all have bad days but you should appreciate any and all customers who walk into your establishment and at least say hey guys please put your mask on when not drinking!?!? But no the bar tender was NASTY!! SO DISAPPOINTED that we don't have a nice gay dance bar that treat their patrons/customers with respect.. that's why Ripples closed!!! Bad customer service I was confronted by an employee outside after stating to one the owners that I was treated very badly and that we've coming here for the last few years and I stated.."we came so happy to be at a gay dance bar and we've spend so much $ here to be treated with so badly and with so much attitude!? He said you must be drunk GET THE FUCK OUT!???I know it's been rough times for everyone however it's a service industry and this place has the worse service and the rudest employees.. no appreciation for standing customers that spend money and I will never recommend this place or ever go back to this raunchy, low class,tacky bar! read more

Owners are very sweet and so is the 1 bartender that I've had the pleasure of serving me. Place is pretty dead during happy hour, and I haven't been to the nightclub in almost 10 years. Drinks are reasonably priced (for happy hour) and the music videos add an entertaining touch. read more

When I called in some guy was rude and hung up on me, second call he was my interpretation we don't want your kind!!!! That was just a phone call...When I first came out, that was the place we all went but now I am not so sure they are respectful of my money!!!! read more

A fun time even if the full bar isn't open. It's outdoor only, but with the summer weather in the evenings, it's refreshing. Service was good for a Thursday night, and the four drag queens who performed were great. They follow strict mask wearing guidelines during the show, and when walking to go to the bathroom or to leave. Felt comfortable and safe. Overall, it was a great experience and a great distraction from the pandemic. read more

I went here for pride (May 2017) and they had a vendor there doing Mexican food. Who was the vendor? Where can I find them? I'm craving the food.

The vendor is there every Saturday if you ever stop by at night :)

How difficult is parking, I'm from out of town so I'm trying to decide whether to drive or uber?

There's a dedicated lot just around the corner but it probably fills up relatively fast. There's a lot of street parking because it's in a neighborhood too. :)

Normally on a Wednesday night or a Sunday as it was karaoke. The fun nights were had way back when. It's still the same fun old place but with a little revamp from the early 2000 when it was a frequent place with the college kids for drinks and karaoke. The crowd from the coffee shop down the street would end their nights here with cocktails and singing. A fun neighborhood dive bar. There's still security at the front checking ID's. Seems like regardless whatever your age is, they ask. Inside you have the retro fun vibe. Of course everyone is there for the same reason, a fun night. Bar is right when you walk in. Normally there's two bartenders on the busy nights but often you just see one. Inside has a good amount of seating but outside patio seating seemed to be alway lively. There's loads of seating out there. The fun twinkling lights and nice lush plants gives it a cool tropical feel hidden in Long Beach. I did notice a lot of people bringing food in especially pizza which was from across the street. Didn't know you could Uber Eats things here but clearly you can. Dinks is always good from my experience. Reasonable price which brings the crowd in. The only thing that sucks, the restroom situation. There's two on either side which does get pretty busy with a line as it's one per person and it's alway dirty. Don't know if anyone goes in there to clean during the nightly hours. Overall, the crowd is alway fun and lively. The last two times I've been I did noticed that it's still the college crew crowd as when I used to come in the early 2000. A more younger crowd, somewhat hipsters vibe. Depending on what day you visit, there's some kind of something going in. It's a fun dive bar that's alway fun for drink. Very casual.

The place isn't big. Bar counter on one side and a couple of hi tops table along the other wall. Doubt there's room for dancing when it's packed but I'm sure they'll make it work. The bartender working St Paddy's night was the sweetest. Very friendly which is always a major plus. We sat along the bar which was nice. Who ever was in charge of the music that night was great. A fun selection of upbeat music which the videos were also showing. You don't want to show up somewhere and the music sucks. Overall, it a fun little neighborhood dive bar. It seemed more like it was utilized with regulars as everyone seemed to know each other. I'm sure it picked up later on from when we arrived. But a fun little place for a drink. I walk up to the security guard who is sitting on a stool outside of the bar playing on his phone. I ask him, "which bar is this?" - he barks at me saying "ITS A BAR". - I ask again, "which bar is it?" He barks back - "IT's THE FALCON - I need to see your ID." I say thanks, and keep walking. If the bar can't hire security guards who can be nice and welcome patrons to the bar, they must not really want my business.

Some in the back area as well and the main seating area thats along the other wall with a built in seating. Great for people watching and viewing the game of pool that's right in front of you. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Matthew stood outside the door yelling for her to hurry up. He yelled, "I'm gonna kill a bitch if I don't get in the restroom." When my cousin came out, he called her a "stupid bitch," said that "three men could have peed in the amount of time she took," and then said, "I'm gonna leave before I kill someone." When I confronted him about how inappropriate his behavior was, he identified himself as the manager and threatened to kick us out. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially by management. I won't be returning.

We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

The fig was perfectly sweet, ricotta has an excellent flavor and I loved that the prosciutto was easy to bite into! Both pasta dishes were excellent and I wish there was a little more parpadelle limone on the plate. Pizza was excellent and that sourdough crust was heaven. I cannot wait to come back here with others. The ambiance was wonderful with the patio seating and servers were constantly checking to ensure that the experience was great.

They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different!
