My friend and I came here on a Friday night. I haven't been here in more than 8 years. Not much going on at this bar when I was there. It looked like there were mainly locals here who came and went. People were just on their phones the two hours we were there. It was really dark inside so we ended up sitting outside when the sun was still out. It's a small patio and there was initially no one out there but us. After about an hour, there were two people that came in. There's one pool table inside and a jukebox where you can pick your songs. Says it's a gay bar on Yelp but I'm surprised the only thing rainbow in the bar was the Budlight tap handle. No food. The bartender was nice. Beer was $6 when we went which was pretty good. One gender neutral bathroom. Bar is located in a sketchy area so be careful. We got lucky with parking in the lot. read more

Omg! I loved this place. It was my first time going. Meet up with some friends (they had been). Got there early it was chill. Meet a few of the usual people. They were super friendly, thanks Silvia for the shot. Jake, the bartender, was awesome, so sweet. There's a patio in the back. It's great for big groups to celebrate (ask about that before you do). Restrooms were clean, there's 2 individuals. Gotta love a clean bathroom. They had some DJ on Saturday night. She was a crowd pleaser, we asked for a few songs and she came threw. Thank you to her for that. Cuz of her, we got down on the dance floor (I can't remember her name, so you know I was good on drinks). Drinks are delicious, green tea shot, omg, my new favorite. I came here with a friend who's gay who really wanted to come here ( maybe he'd find eye candy) this was back in July 07,2022 It was about 10 people (what seemed as regulars) it was during the week on a Thursday, the bartender was nice-but the place inside just a had funk smell to it. If you sat at the bar you'll start to notice dirty things laying around (maybe because I was bored) and just wanted to go home There was no DJ, TV 's were on, music on speaker I think We seen the juke box ,but we didn't bother to even look around or get up and look for songs. Hadn't been here since some time last year. Happened to be in the area again and decided to stop in for a cocktail or two. Was surprised that they have happy hour again from 2pm to 8:30pm and well cocktails were very reasonable at 3.00/each! Bartender was new (hadn't seen him before) and super friendly and chatty. The only downside I would have to say is the parking lot as part of the spaces were blocked off but there is plenty of street parking you just have to be careful in case you are out late (not the best area). read more

How does it go?: You don't know what you have until it is gone. Flux was gone for a few but they are back and stronger than ever! Not much of a drinker, but love beer and Flux serves it COLD, VERY COLD - the way it should be! My friends have nothing but amazing comments on the alcoholic drinks - some unique to Flux. But, wait a minute... not only do they serve good drinks, they partnered with a couple that serves food, tacos, tacos, TACOOOS! Would never say this and I am actually saying this: No one has ever been able to make better food than my Mom and these ladies easily have done that. Saturday night visit to the Flex Bar around 9:30pm which was pleasantly busy, but not overly crowded to the point of claustrophobia. Early for a Saturday night on the town, but Flux Bar is a small town bar unlike West Hollywood that attracts many from all over the Socal region. Therefore, Flux has a nice friendly vibe. No one, at least within sight, was putting on airs & "attitude" that can happen rather frequently in Weho by people who often don't even have very much of a pot to piss in. Such is the life in the big city where HYPE rules especially near the epicenter of "The Industry" which describes Weho to a Tee. I ordered Johnny Walker Black, & a Campari & Soda, but Natalie, our enthusiastically friendly, informative, helpful bartender looked high & low, but couldn't find any of the bottles we had ordered. So she suggested Jameson which is an Irish Whiskey. ("The word whiskey derives from the Irish "Uisce beatha" which means 'water of life'") It's distilled 3 times to make for a smoother roundness w/ no harshness. Aged in oak barrels that already held American bourbon or Spanish Jerez so that not only does Jameson get vanilla, buttery, oakiness, but also the subtle flavours from the smokey bourbon or the fruitier Jerez as another aspect of its complex flavours. Natalie also realized that Aperol was in a group of liqueurs/cordials called Amaro in Italian, which means bitters & is in the same group that Campari is also part of. So she offered me Aperol & soda w/ lime which was so close that I would not have noticed the difference. Natalie is great. Knowledgeable, cheerful, helpful, gregarious. I'm impressed that she can so proficiently go around problems by solving them by knowing alternative solutions. She is savvy & sophisticated in her bartending, but she has a kind, uplifting attitude that I totally appreciate. I hope management realizes what a jewel Natalie is and treats her well in order to retain her fine, excellent services. 4+ Yelp stars due to Natalie's due diligence. Bravo! read more

The owners of this awesome bar are a female couple, they have worked so hard to keep their business above water. They offered cocktail deliver/ pick up last year and they have recently just opened for an outdoor patio environment. I was talking with the owners and shared that they are working in hopes to make it a more lesbian and female friendly bar.
