She said the reason is that a customer complained the dog beds smell and they didn't want to go back. Imagine that ! You go with something that is dirty- that's the whole point of a laundromat. I have never complained when people bring in clothes from babies and kids. Nothing worse than smelling baby clothes with vomit, pee and poop on. There are plenty of people there that aren't even clean themselves and their clothes and bedding are disgusting. I always clean up after myself there and am respectful of other people. The whole reason I'm washing the beds is I foster for homeless dogs. Thanks for not helping the homeless animals and for treating me like I'm doing something wrong. Your staff is rude and needs to learn how to talk to people. I will never return to this laundromat. I had $7 left on my card and I gave it away. Don't support this business.

It's about as much as you would expect to spend at any laundromat. It's a bit old I guess but the machines do the job. They have a detergent and fabric softener vending machine and a couple TV's inside to watch while you wait. There is also a change machine available for quarters. One downside is that there isn't a parking lot, there is metered parking available out front. The manager is a very nice lady, always smiling. Very convenient if you live in Nutley.

They do a good job with dry cleaning pants, hemming pants, and cleaning coats. They don't do a good job with sweaters. They have broken all the buttons off my sweaters, shrunk the sleeves, stretched out the sleeves, shrunk the sweaters, and even snagged them. My husband has had issues with them too. He had his jeans hemmed and after he washed them the hem unraveled. He took them back and they charged him for redoing the hem.

There are plenty of dryers at $.25 for 7 minutes. The dryers are well cared for so three loads will take about $.75 to dry. There is also to front load washers $2.00 and $3.00 respectively for larger loads or small to medium sized quilts and blankets.
