Perfect Wash is my go to Laundromat for drop off service when I don't want to wash heavy duty items in my home washer. All of the staff is extremely friendly and courteous. They tend to have comforter wash specials and I assume the regular wash prices are reasonable as well. They will give you a call once your drop off laundry is completed. If you are lucky you may get to hear the laundry attendant sing a beautiful opera tune while working. read more

Dropped off a $100 comforter. When I arrived for pick up it was gone. Response from ownership "someone must have taken it, we don't secure the storage area. Now they added a handwritten sign that they aren't responsible after 7 days. Doubt there will be a next time. read more

Best laundromat I've ever been to! Very clean, plenty of very well-maintained machines, plenty of space to fold, quarters machine, very friendly and helpful staff. The drop-off service is also amazing. I use it once in a blue moon as a treat for myself when I need a break from doing laundry or when my bed linens and comforters need a wash. They wash and fold your clothes with greatest care for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend. read more

My dryer broke and I dreaded having to drag my clothes to a laundromat. I didn't have much to dry and chose this small laundromat since it was near my house. I have been there a couple times now. The place is small, very clean and the staff quite helpful. They are pleasant, hardworking and treat the place like their own and customers, welcomed guests. My visit turned out to be a relaxing, easy experience and this small local establishment a nice surprise. I put off my repair a bit because of the ease of this experience. read more

The owner is so nice! Always offers water when he is here and will even ask if you want any cookies or chocolate. He makes conversation with you which helps with waiting for your laundry to be done. Formerly Sunshine Landromat, now under new management, is my new go to place to drop off my kryptonite, err hmm, dirty laundry. Mauricio the new owner, has replaced the washers with high efficiency washers and has the place sparking clean. Kept me entertained when I stopped by for the first time with an emergency load, served me delicious iced Colombian coffee and shared vacation pictures. I forgot I was there to do laundry. This is my first Yelp review - this place was so good I decided to make an account to spread the word. I panicked when my washing machine broke just as I went to clean the first of four full loads of dirty clothes. I was always skeptical about laundromats and the wash and fold services, but the reviews on this place seemed great and I was really in a jam. So, I brought all 40 pounds of laundry to Perfect Wash and was greeted by the nicest guy - think his name was Bob. He took my name and number and showed me the prices - next-day service was just $1/pound which was way cheaper than any other place I looked up (some were even twice that and charge all these extra fees). I also left special instructions to not put certain pieces in the dryer. The next day I got a text message from the owner, Steve, that my clothes were ready for me to pick up and my non-dryables were hanging for me. When I got there that night, everything was neatly folded packed back in my cylinder and Steve helped me take everything to the car. The customer service is SO great and my clothes smell amazing. In my quest for finding a better laundromat in the Newark area my quest has brought me 10 miles from home to Bloomfield. Extremely clean, new washers, and convenient parking! Equipment is coin operated, which seems to be a rarity in this area. Wash is $3.50 (or $4.00 with the extra wash/rinse) and dryers are .25 for 7 minutes. Dryers are a little older but work fine. Folding counter is perfect height for me (I'm 6'3"). Only thing I would like to see is a few more large size machines so I can wash my bedding here. read more

Love perfect wash laundromat! I've been using their pick up/drop off service for over 2 years now and have nothing but positive comments about this amazing facility. My clothes come back perfect everytime and their drop off/pick up service is so convenient that once you've tried it you will never look back. I leave my clothes in my laundry bag outside of my apartment in the morning before heading to work once a week, text steve for a pick up before 9am and when I come back from work around 6pm I can smell the fresh laundry scent when coming up the stairs and my clothes are perfectly folded and shirts in hangers - only thing I have to do is put away in my closet- it doesnt get anything better than that! This place is worth going to simply for Mauricio's charm and welcoming demeanor but the clean, newly renovated facility, and new machines definitely don't hurt. While there, I watched him meticulously wipe all the machines down, help a female customer carry her bags to her car, and make my fiance some fresh coffee. We also engaged in friendly conversation. I was staying in an Airbnb which unfortunately did not have a washer or dryer so I looked to yelp for a wash and fold service and decided to come here (based on the positive reviews). First thing I noticed was that the inside was very clean and prices were very reasonable! The owner also offered fragrance free detergent as an option (for those of us with sensitive skin and eczema this is definitely needed) and it didn't cost extra. This laundromat is a little out of my way but it was worth the drive. I see why it has such great reviews! It's very clean and hardly busy. It's quite small so it wouldn't be ideal for washing large / many loads at one time. The few guests that were here when I arrived were friendly. It's an old school laundrymat so quarters only and fairly reasonable,somewhat. Well it's more reasonable than some others. I like it because it has free wifi, television and that it's not busy! Well I did go on a Friday night so that could be why. The only thing I didn't know was the step up in the back entrance; I had to lift my cart with my laundry bag and detergent inside! Also the dryers are VERY pricey, 25 cents for 7 minutes!! Nonetheless I like it and will come back again for the quaint experience. I miss that the most about modern day laundrymats. My favorite chore is doing laundry so this experience by far is one of the best! read more
