Warning! Washing machine 21 does not work properly! When I noted to the attendant that the machine was taking a long time she responded "that's a 2 hour machine". "All the other machines are 30 minutes". She did open the machine and got it to skip ahead. But why wasn't there a note on the machine? Or better yet- get the damn thing fixed! I'm still flabbergasted that there is no warning for the customers. My advice is far away from this crummy laundromat which doesn't care about the customers. read more

Attendant was very nice and helpful and there were available large washers and at a reasonable price and the same with the dryers. I needed to go to the laundromat because my washer was on the blank and it was not a bad experience at all. It was a good experience. read more

The facility is always clean! Machines are very rarely broken down. Never have an issue when going there. And they only close 2 times a year!! read more

Prices are good for the area. Lots of big machines. If there isn't one available Kay will help free one up so you can use it. I wish there was more space to fold clothes but it's ok I just go home and fold. read more

It was quiet on a weekday night but a LOT of the coin receivers on the machines were broken. They do have a lot of machines but most of them were broken, and I had already put the soap in on one by accident and the guy refunded me for it which was nice. read more

This is one of the best laundromats you will find in Montclair! The washers and dryers give you bang for your buck. Washers and dryers are clean, the service is excellent and the drop off service is delivery the very next day, folded and packed for you! I have been doing my laundry here for over ten years. The same attendants since day one. Kay is very sweet and always pleasant. I have never seen her in a bad mood. The machines are old but they get the job done. Years ago they offered free coffee and pastries. But their partnership with the bakery fizzled so the baked goods disappeared. They then had a pay coffee machine. I see that has been replaced by a Keurig. There is an ATM machine up front also. I have been to fancier laundromats, but this one is affordable and friendlier. read more

I came here on a Wednesday night and was told that my clothes would be ready by Thursday afternoon. I utilized the drop off service and had about 10 pounds worth of clothes. The attendant (or owner?) said that there was a $12 minimum and that I would pay $12 for the clothes that I had. Gave me a receipt, came back the next day with receipt, and got my clothes. My clothes were all there, folded, and cleaned. Sure, the service was a bit eh, but honestly, they cleaned my clothes and it was a very affordable price! I guess my experience was better than the other frustrated yelpers on here! tl;dr: Cash only. $12 minimum. one day turnover. read more

The attendants are extremely nice here and helpful. You also have the option to leave your laundry with them and they will do it for you (pay per pound). The machines are a little bit outdated but they still work fine and I don't usually have any problems with them. They recently put in 2 new dryers which are excellent so if you get there and no one is using them, take them! (You'll know which ones they are, trust me). read more

I've been coming to this laundrymat for a few years now. They have coin machines which benefits their customer service. If there has ever been a reason for the machine not to work and the attendant was also not able to get it to start they will reimburse the coins. Friendly staff. There is a machine for detergent and softners if you forget yours at home. They sell laundry bags. They even have a drop off service if you lead an extremely busy life and can't afford to wait for the machines yourself. read more

By far the worst service I've had in New Jersey. Not only the clothes smelled awful, but the woman that takes care of customers there is terribly rude. I was supposed to go and pick up my husband to go to the airport, so the day before I stopped and asked the man if there was any chance that they could have our clothes ready for 12pm the next day because we had to get a plane. The man said "yes of course". Next day I arrived at 3:30pm, giving them time to do it, and this woman tells me tat is not ready and if I wanted to take the clothes just like that, after the service has been paid. I said no, and I went to finish other things for my trip. I came back to get my clothes, and she charges me AGAIN!!! And I'm like..."This is paid...!" And she goes..."well I can't see anywhere here in your receipt that you paid" and I'm like...."well who's fault is that? Clearly the person that made the receipt!" If I could give this laundromat no stars I would. Not only did I get sexually harassed in and outside the place, but the machines just spit up your quarters. I managed to finally get two down before I packed up my stuff and left. No one there to help if you need something and there looked to be a mentally ill person in there yelling nonsense. Came here yesterday to pick up laundry for my boss & was accidentally given someone else's laundry (no biggy). I understand that this can happen and I wasn't upset or angry about it. However, when I called to let the woman know I would be back in about 15 minutes to switch the loads, she became very defensive on the phone, raising her voice & telling me how this was my fault for giving her the wrong name. Even if this was the case, I provided Mariam with my receipt so I feel as though it being her job - she should've double checked the name prior to passing off the laundry. I went in, exchanged the load & was waived off and told to "do whatever I want" when I asked if I may check the bag. Maybe she was having a bad day? ..but I feel as though customers should be treated with respect and it was a simple misunderstanding. Again, I let it go and left, thanking her and telling her to have a nice day. However, today when I returned to drop off a larger load of laundry for my boss, this woman's attitude was still unpleasant. When trying to weigh my laundry I told her that it was just colors & whites, no delicates. I'm not sure what question she was asking of me, but she very quickly snapped and began yelling at me that I need to answer her. I simply said "I don't understand what the problem is, but there's no need to yell." Continuing to yell, she made statements such as "you're the problem", "I'm not a little girl.", and "go elsewhere." Now for me, customer service is key. My interaction over the past two days with this very unprofessional woman was a deal breaker for me. The quality that the clothes return in is average, nothing special and the folding is actually less than adequate. I will say that the service is quick. However, I refuse to give my business to a place where I'm a paying customer, getting yelled at for no reason. There are many other locations that offer the same services, same price, and a better attitude. As a result of this woman's attitude, I would give this laundromat 2 stars. You're not missing out on anything if you chose to send your laundry somewhere else. this laundry needs top update their washers as they are not soaping up and i had a tripple loader plus the dryer didnt dry all of my clothes and i put 5 quarters in so i will be washing in my building from here on! read more
