Great machines, extra large capacity, very expensive. Would add a half star for clean and modern facilities but that $$$ and a lack of ATM and their proprietary card machine lacks a credit/debit card reader so these issues keeps me from calling splish splash a 4. If splish splash simply lowers the price on the washers or put in cc/debit options on the card machine, I will add stars as it happens. Pros: many well maintained machines, 2, 4, 6, 8 load machines and dryers to handle any load: jackets, comforters, loads of towels get clean and dry. Televisions. Clean. Good staff. Fast machines. Cons: proprietary card machines that don't take credit and debit cards. No ATM. Expensive. Supplies are also expensive. Limited parking. It's worth it if you want to get a lot of wash done at once. read more

I would give five stars for the cleanliness and the number of machines. But, those additional three stars consumed by the extremely high cost (I've started putting light and darks in the same machine to save money and it shows in the lighter clothing), and the fact that help is non-existent unless you speak Spanish. Anytime I've needed help, the people that work there can't understand me. The manager or owner is NEVER there on the weekends when a lot of people do laundry. if you are in a high tax bracket and cleanliness is all you care about, this is the place for you. read more

The absolute worse customer service, and it isn't just me that experienced the rudeness of this one employee, she's mean rude & extremely unprofessional, I will never return. read more

I can clean and organize "faster than a speeding bullet", yet.... Everyone who knows me knows.. Laundry is my kryptonite, How a basket of laundry has the amazing power of having my entire day, sometimes days fly by only giving me the chance to fold one article of clothing is beyond me. Its like laundry has the power to completely wipe out my mind, just ask my dear cousin-in-law Henry H, who once had to fold a basket (ok, fine, it was baskets full) of clothing for me because I had gotten creative and said "I could do it", he just could not bear look at that pile anymore and folded it himself - yes guys learn from Henry, he is a manly man and has no issues folding!!! Err.. Hmm, back to this review. I've been having a secret affair with this Laundromat for about a year now; cheating on my usual place in Clifton that I had been going to since 1997 (gasp). The place in Clifton is still just as good as always, but now that I live in Glen Ridge, its a bit of a hassle. I love the drop off service at Splish Splash Laundromat, they open really early, so I am able to drop off on my way to work and pick up freshly washed and folded laundry on my way back from work. They accept credit cards which is a plus, especially when I forget to pick up cash at the ATM. Staff is very friendly, the place is spotless and they use quality detergents. If all that is not enough, I did the calculations and it costs me as much to do my own laundry myself, well that and the mental abuse I put myself through. So I might as well let the Pros do it..... Just please don't tell my mom.... *Sigh* Its a dream come true. If only all troublesome things could be dropped off this way. One can wish... read more

I've been going to this laundromat since they opened. It's always clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a bit pricey for a laundromat and it recently had a price increase, however, with how clean they maintain everything (specially during this pandemic) it is warranted. read more

Pros: clean environment, ability to do large quantities for a reasonable price, laundry card rather than using coins, enough seating and space so you don't feel smothered. Owner showed me how to set up my first card and how to use the machine. Cons: The "lovley" attendant had an attitude the moment I went to the counter to tell her one of the machines was not working. She then had an attitude when I asked for change. I asked her who the manager was and she proceeded to tell me "I don't know" even though I knew exactly who it was. You can really lose customers based on a lack of professionalism. If you don't like where you work, please quit. You should be more grateful you have a job during a pandemic. I've been to laundromats of lesser size and machine availability but with way nicer attendants. read more

The facility is big and clean. However there is no ATM machine so come ready with cash and come ready to buy a card to put money on - THE MACHINES DO NOT TAKE COINS. The medium washing machine is 2.99 the bigger ones are 4.99. DRyers are good. There's only street parking at meters. They are open till 10pm. read more

The laundromat is clean, the process of doing laundry is simple, washing machines are a bit pricey but overall not bad place to do laundry

All the workers are extremely rude and always have an attitude. I've been going here for years but I have stopped supporting them due to the lack of professionalism. This place use to be very nice but there workers make it an unwelcoming place. read more

I come here weekly to do full service laundry and have never been more pleased. I drive a little bit out of the way just to come here. SERVICE: Great! I pay $1/pound and go early in the morning. My clothes are ready by 5:00 PM and nicely folded and pressed so it makes it easy to put away into my dresser. A clean establishment which is important for a laundromat/laundry service place. The people here are friendly and professional. Most importantly, no missing socks! read more

$1 per pound wash and fold & lots of free parking in the rear. Huge laundromat with TVs, Vending machines, and a clean bathroom. Weather or not you are dropping off for a was and fold or doing it yourself, you wont be disappointed. The staff is super friendly here also. Don't forget to leave a nice tip! read more

this is almost the paradjse of laundromats: - huge, clean, well lit place with a wide variety of modern machines - they use a card system for the machines so you buy a card for the desired amount from a machine and don't have to deal with quarters - to some degree a gimmick to encourage return business, but very convenient - lots of modern TVs tuned to various sporting events and other programming - 2 restrooms - drop off laundry wash and fold service at $1 a pound - hard working staff keeping the place clean - dry cleaning - they have their own parking lot - near several restaurants and a nice italian bakery so you can dine while laundering - the only real negative is they don't have wifi (!) read more

Splish Splash Laundromat - Laundromat Near Me - Bloomfield, New Jersey

Always clean more than enough machines very friendly people. There is parking in the back as long as people don't park stupid. No change needed the machines use cards. read more

Pros: The place is super clean. I'm watching 2 women clean the machines as we speak. It's pretty big, and there are a ton of machines to use. Parking in the back. Cons: My biggest complaint is that they require you to use their proprietary card with their washers. That's fine, but the machine to put money on the card only accepts cash, and there is no ATM. To make it worse. I asked the woman at the counter where an ATM was near, and she looked at me like I was nuts. It's friggen hot in here. There's like 100 dryers going; please turn on the AC! read more

The laundromat is clean and spacious, but it is pricey. In addition, the ladies who work there are stoic, unhelpful and rude. Doing laundry is already not a fun experience, the atmosphere created by the workers just makes it down right miserable. In my opinion, it is not worth going there. read more

They should clean their parking lot. Garbage everywhere. Customers throw their junk all over and the owner don't clean the mess.

I had been coming here on a weekly basis without issue, and liked that the facility was clean and had plenty of machines. However, after being called a liar by management, I will not be going back. One of the machines ate my money without updating my laundry card balance. When I politely brought this to the attention of the attendant, she proceeded to call their manager. After hanging up, she told me that the manager checked their security video and that I did not put money into the machine! I asked to see that security footage, but couldn't...because the manager refused to come out to speak with me directly, and did not bother to even inspect the machine before calling me a liar. If these machines ever have a bad day, know that management will not investigate before they decide to call you a liar...even if it is only for one dollar. Needless to say, we took our wet clothes to dry somewhere else! read more

I love this laundromat! It's always clean and the workers are always making sure the machines are kept in good order! Great staff as well!

Whereas this is hands-down the cleanest laundromat in the area and I have been going there for the nearly 10 years I have lived in Bloomfield, for some reason the climate and Temperature Control in the laundromat is ridiculous and very hot. You add in the hot air coming off of the driveways in addition to the lack of air condition provided and it is very uncomfortable and usually becomes a question of whether you should stand there and need to shower because your folding your clothes. Yesterday it was literally record heat temperatures in Bloomfield and Newark and it was so hot inside of the laundromat we had to leave. Everyone there was uncomfortable including the attendants working, so it became a question of whether they are even permitted to put it lower? And why not? read more

I walked in to do my laundry on a Friday evening and it's around 85° out inside the Stabley Schomann where I'm going to wash my clothes they have washing machines and dryers going on 24/7 so I would think they would have the air conditioner on just to chill the place out a little more. It's took me about 2 to 3 minutes from taking my clothes out of the bag and putting them in to the machines and started down pouring sweat. read more

So a few things. I don't want people to read this and think that this place is all bad. It's not. We do a drop off laundry and our close always come back great. The women who takes our clothes on Saturday morning is nice and pleasant . But when we pick up our clothes in Sunday. The Asian woman that works there is out of her mind!!!!! She used to work at another Bloomfield store that thankfully went out of business. It makes me not want to go there to see her. But the service is good. Anyway management need to make a change and when they do I will give five stars until then.... 1 read more

Very clean. The staff never stops cleaning. You can't see them just waiting or standing by. I'm impressed how organized this laundromat is. read more

Wish I can give this place 0 stars. I've been coming here for the past years and have remained a loyal customer despite the flaws in this place. I came here 15 minutes past 630 and woman who works here said that there is a sign on the door saying the last wash is at 630. The laundromat closes at 8pm. So I said fine but my laundry is already in the washer And I already poured the detergent in the machine. She made me take all my clothes out ..YES She did! Ok fine.. I asked to please speak to a manager because I would like my money refunded. She proceeds to call me crazy and ignores me and states that I didn't read the sign in the front. I understand no one speaks English here but how is there no manager or owner to respond to issues at their business. Terrible place!! Their customer service is horrible especially to people who have been coming here for years. You dont treat people that way. read more

Avoid, they not adhere to their hours of operation. Turns customers away any time around 830. Happened more than once which sucks because it's a Great facility, but at this point I Definitely recommend heading else where read more

3/3.5 VERY clean - but more expensive than other places in the area, and they don't offer wifi. They also use a card system to access the machines (as many places do) but I prefer using quarters - matter of personal preference; therefore, not a factor used in my rating read more

Weird vibe. The workers seem unhappy and are constantly scrubbing machines. Would a smile to customers hurt? Years ago I left some clothes & when I returned the owner grilled me like the Gestapo. It was 1 flowered sheet and a few items. He seemed reluctant to return them. read more

We do the drop-off laundry service and it's worth every penny!
